Great book describing anxious attachment! The author does a great job explaining the symptoms that present later in life from when attachment develops. Also the book describes relationships techniques for someone with anxious attachment. Highly recommend.
Nice overview of attachment theory and other psychological concepts, with chapter summaries as a useful refresher. Would be equally suited to therapists as well as individuals themselves as a reference guide.
I can't relate to any feelings of anxious attachment. However, I found that this book gave me some good insight into how some women view relationships.
I kinda expected it to have more suggestions in it about how to handle triggers or emotions and such. All though it did talk about journaling and counseling. I had hoped for more.
Short read to get familiar with anxious attachment issues. You'll probably want another book if you want a deep dive, but this one is good for an overview.
The way I felt called out. I highlighted the heck out of this book. Helped me learn some helpful facets about myself and coaxed me along my healing journey.
