I know what I want and what I want is Tallulah Jennings anyway I can have her.
Tully wants to keep our relationship a secret. She thinks my name attached to hers will make the people in our small town talk. And not in a good way.
I’m biding my time. One day soon she’ll have my last name, be the mother of my children, and they’ll be no more hiding the way we feel for one another.
Tory is back with a dirty talking alpha cowboy in the second book in The Rowdy Johnson Brothers. This insta-love, insta-hot romance will have you wanting a Johnson brother of your own!
Tory Baker is a mom of two teenagers and a dog mom to one wild and active Weimaraner, Remi. She lives in a small coastal town on the east coast of sunny Florida. Oftentimes you’ll find her outside soaking up the rays with at least three drinks surrounding her, a wandering imagination, and a notebook in hand where she’s jotting down a plot for her next story. She’s a lover of writing happily ever afters with Alpha heroes and sassy heroines.
Heroine is a vet trying to establish herself, hence hiding her relationship with the hero- a rancher from a famous family. Loads of sex and workplace drama in this one. It was ok read.
WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.
Dean and Tully met when she comes to Arrowhead when her best friend, Birdie His to Take leaves Colorado. Tully doesn't want anyone to know that her and Dean are hooking up, she wants to make a name for herself in town. Tully is a veterinarian so while Dean can pull some favors for her he knows she can make it on her own. A few months later, after Dean has to bribe some of his family members not to tell about him hooking up with Tully. Tully realizes a lot of people know about her and Dean including his mother, Catherine. Tully finally decides to tell her best friend Birdie while making a name for herself with the ranchers. Tully finds out that her best friend was just waiting for her to come to her about Dean. Dean heads to an auction to find some abused animals that he can't turn away. Dean puts the animals in his own name so it doesn't come back to the Johnson's Ranch, but finds out that all the animals he paid for are bribed away from him even from his own brother. Dean gets in contact with a friend to find out who is behind the abuse of the animals. Tully find out her boss is writing her up but hasn't even looked at her report. So Tully decides it's time to quiet the family practice and maybe head out on her own. Tully decides it's time to move in with Dean only to come home to find out he's already moved all of her things into his place. Dean doesn't want any more of this back and forth between his place and Tully's. Tully calls her parents to let them know about her and Dean. Only Tully find out that her parent's have given her some money so that she can start her own practice. Dean and Tully find out who was behind the abuse of the animals, some of it not looking good for Tully's old boss. One month later, Dean asks Tully to marry him and she tells him yes.

Tallulah came to Wyoming to support and be with her best friend Birdie from His To Take. She’s a veterinarian doctor and gets a job with the local vet. Herbert is a terrible boss and runs her ragged because he’s an asshole. Dean is a rancher and Birdie’s brother in law, he has been smitten with Tully from the moment he saw her. To establish herself as a good doctor and get the local ranchers to trust her she tells Dean they need to hide their relationship. He doesn’t want to but agrees. They sneak around when she goes to the ranch to check on his animals and he walks over to her place to spend the night. Things are good between them, lots of steamy sexy times. A tiny bit of intrigue when Dean comes home from auction with three mistreated horses. Then the following week a mistreated Shetland cow. Who is mistreating these animals? Tully helps care for them. When her awful boss Herbert accuses her of not doing her job correctly and using her relationship with Dean to get ahead she stands up for herself and tells her boss of before quitting. It later comes out that the animals were originally treated by Herbert and he would say they were very sick and take them from their owners then resell them at auction. Except he gave the animals to his nephews to mind until auction time and those two idiots would forget to feed them for days and days. Mystery solved, bad guys in jail. Epilogues one month later with Dean proposing and two months later Tully thinking to take over the vet clinic from Herbert and they talk about getting pregnant.

I absolutely loved this story! It pulled me in from beginning to end and kept me engaged the entire time. Once I started reading, I didn't want to stop. Magnolia has been in love with Tripp for years, he's her best friend's brother, but he has never really given her the time of day. She's been with her toxic ex and she has ended it but ends up with one last one night stand with him that she vows never to repeat. Shortly after that, Tripp figures out some things and finally makes a move. Things are going well while they are together in secret at first, that is until Magnolia figures out that her last night with the ex left her pregnant. I loved watching the way that these two finally come together and figure things out. Once Tripp gets his stuff together and gives this a chance with Magnolia, he's gone for her. He is all in and there is no going back for him. He treats Magnolia so well and sometimes she doesn't quite know what to do with it. I loved watching these two figure it all out and be so cute together as well. I loved his unwavering support once he finally gave in, he was all in and it was awesome. I loved how he respected her boundaries but still showed his interest, care and love. Tripp has a dirty mouth and it was hot, hot, hot! In the absolutely best way! I loved all the antics that they get up to, along with the rest of the Hollis family. The story flows well and has a good balance that keeps the story moving forward without stalling out. It's great and I can't wait for the rest of the family's stories! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
I. LOVE. Those rowdy Johnson boys!!! Talk about hot! And their dirty mouths? They’re walking, talking, s3x on a stick!
Dean and Tallulah were perfect together. He was the man all women dream about, patient and willing to let Tully do what she thought was best for her job; to give her all the time she needed before letting their relationship go public even though he wanted to tell the world. (And their relationship was already going strong beginning on page one.)
Tallulah is a vet, new to town and to the clinic she’s working in. The doctor she works for is a jerk, he’s determined to run her off; he thinks women have no place working as a vet so she’s reluctant to give anyone reason to question her abilities and is afraid a relationship with someone from the Johnson Ranch (which owns a LOT of animals) would cause people to question her ethics. Only thing is, it’s getting harder and harder to hide her feelings.
Dean couldn’t care less what other people think, Tully is his woman and he’s sick of her being taken advantage of; all she has to do is say the word and she wouldn’t have to worry about anything ever again.
This was such an awesome read; Ms. Baker has a way with creating characters that make you want to know them—heck, it makes you want to BE them, to have a relationship like that… Oh well, I guess we’ll just have to continue living vicariously through her books =D
I can’t recommend this book highly enough, 5 sweet and steamy stars!!!
This is book number 2 of The Rowdy Johnson Brothers series and focuses on Dean and Tully. Tully moved to town with her best friend, Birdie, when she decided to come back home. She fell for Dean, Lane’s brother, pretty quickly after meeting him but she wanted their relationship to be hidden from everyone until she could stand on her own two feet professionally. She is a vet who is trying to make a name for herself on her own merit, skill, and knowledge but is afraid that she will not be taken seriously if her name is attached to the Johnson family and their ranch. I love how Dean just wanted Tully to be happy and did everything he could to honor her need for professional independence while also showing her how much he loved her and the life he wanted with her. Dean was exactly the kind of man that Tully needed in her corner and in her life. He was her number 1 supporter and her soft place to land. I loved everything about Dean and Tully and I can’t wait to see what the other brothers have in store for us!
I received a free copy of this book via the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I absolutely loved the sizzling hot chemistry chemistry, hard to keep their hands off each other demeanor and soul connection that Tully (Tallulah) and Dean had together. They hid their relationship to avoid causing more trouble with her new position with the town’s veterinary clinic. The older farmers believed a female vet didn’t know the job as well as a man or couldn’t handle the big animals. Her chauvinistic boss did his best to give her all the crappy jobs, way too much on-call duty and generally made her life a nightmare. I had to admire a woman who wasn’t take the easy way out or a hand out to get ahead, though when she finally had enough, Tully stated her case, stood firm and resigned. Through all the back breaking work, Dean was there to make she she rested and ate, and to offer her encouragement. Actually, they both good at offering each other encouragement, support and understanding. They faced a few hiccups together and knew that they had found the one meant for them.
This book was sweet with a good dose of spice and a dash of angst. The characters were so likeable and relatable that I couldn’t help but want to read this book to see how their story developed. I was charmed by both the characters and their story. I can’t wait to read the next books in this series.
The Rowdy Johnson Brothers just keep getting better! Dean is a perfect boyfriend, sweet, kind, and all about making sure Tallulah has whatever she needs, in a spicy, fast paced and pretty adorable small town romance. Tallulah is as independent as they come, she's taking no handouts and earning her vet clients and the respect of the local ranchers from the ground up. Even though her secret, insanely hot, and protective bed partner would use his family's ranch and influence in a heartbeat to help her out. Dean gets that she needs and wants to prove herself on her own but he's pretty sure she doesn't understand that she’s his, to care for, protect, and please. There is no limit to what Dean wouldn't do for her and he's ready to prove that they're more than just bed partners, she's his everything. Dean is legitimately perfect! And kind of an adorable pushover when it comes to animals, his mom, and Tallulah. The plot is definitely all about Dean claiming Tully but it's spicy, fun, so dang cute, and the friends and family dynamic is witty and really gives off that close family vibe that I love.
i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the second book in the Rowdy Johnson Brothers series. In this book, Dean is secretly seeing Tully. He wants to tell everyone they are together, but she doesn't want people to think she used his family to build her reputation as a vet. Tully is stubborn and wants to prove herself to everyone on her own. When Dean goes to the suction to buy some animals, he finds some that are in bad shape and buys them in hopes of saving them. Dean also wants to find the people responsible for their condition and make sure they are punished, even if it could lead to danger. Tully is working for the town vet and is forced to overwork and is exhausted, but she doesn't have enough confidence to start out on her own yet. I really enjoyed this book. I liked that Tully wanted to prove herself, but i also think she was being taken advantage of by her boss. I like that Dean was so sure of his feelings and wanted to tell everyone, even though he knew eventually they would all know. I am enjoying this series so far and look forward to the next book.
This is the 2nd book in The Rowdy Johnson Brothers series featuring Dean and Tully's HOT and steamy romance. Tully is new to town and her boss at the vet clinic has it in for her so she's working really hard to be independent. She doesn't want to look like she's relying on her family or that her relationship with Dean gives her special privileges at the Johnson Ranch. That's why she asks Dean to keep their relationship a secret and since Dean loves Tully and wants her to be happy he goes along with it. Even though he wants everyone to know how much he loves Tully and that she's his future. Dean is perfect for Tully since he respects her ambitions and how hard she works all he wants is for her to be happy. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this HOT and steamy romance to see what happens. I would definitely recommend reading this book and I'm looking forward to the next book in this wonderful series!! I received an ARC of this book and I'm voluntarily leaving a review.
Tory Baker writes the best stories! I am never disappointed with her books and I look forward to each new story. The Rowdy Johnson Brothers are Lane, Dean, Lawson, JW, Ryland and Trey as well as Lawson's friend Fletcher Wild. This is book 2 in the series, Dean Johnson and Tully's story. New to town, Tully is the new large animal vet at the local practice. Her boss pushes her hard and is never satisfied with her work. Meanwhile, Dean is ready to make their relationship public. They've been keeping it a secret so rumors don't start regarding Tully's reputation. Pushed to the limits, Tully pulls up her big girl panties and takes what she wants. Dean is one hot cowboy who would do absolutely anything for his Sunshine. Cute animals, super steamy naughty times with a great story about love, family and the strength those things can provide. Loved it!
This is the second book of the Rowdy Johnson Brothers series and is about Dean and Tully. Dean lives on the family farm and works on it too. He's got a soft heart especially when it comes to animals that need a home. Tully is a veterinarian who hasn't been in town for long. She is currently working for another vet at his clinic and absolutely loves animals especially ones Dean seems to find and bring home.. They have started a relationship but no one knows or so they think..Tully is the one wanting to keep it a secret because of her job..she doesn't want people to think she's using her relationship as an advantage to get ahead at work...but what happens when someone uses Deans goid heart to their advantage and can Tully help all the animals she wants to?? This was my favorite book so far in the series (I feel like I say that with every new book 😂) 5⭐ 4🌶
Dean and Tully were everything I needed and more. Dean is all cowboy and all alpha. He gets Tully like no one else does. Tully is new to town (she is Birdie’s best friend) and trying to make a name for herself. She wants to keep what she and Dean have private till she can get established at work.
Dean while he understands, also knows he needs to push her a little bit to get her to see she isn’t risking her name by being in a relationship, let alone with a Johnson brother. Their chemistry was off the charts and had me wanting a cowboy of my own I could get tousled with in a tack room!!! I loved the mutual connection to the animals and how turned on Dean got by watching Tully work.
The brothers were rowdy as expected in the best way possible. I’m ready for the next one to fall!!!
Dean and Tully meet when Tully follows her best friend Birdie to her small Wyoming town. Tully is a vet and is trying to decide whether to work for the local vet or go out on her town. Dean and his brothers run his family’s ranch. They are immediately attracted to each other but Tully wants to keep their relationship quiet to avoid being a source of small town gossip so soon in her career. But when Tully’s work issues intersect with some strange things Dean is seeing at local auctions, they team up to take down some bad actors.
This is the second in a series of books about Dean and his brothers. I did read the first book in the series and liked it as well.
His To Please is steamy hot goodness and so much fun to listen to! Tallulah is a fascinating character—brilliant veterinarian, kind and loving human, with so much to offer—and yet she lets a misogynistic jerk of an employer treat her like dirt and run her ragged. Dean is sexy sweet and so supportive of his woman, showing up for her and encouraging her no matter what. He has a heart of gold and his love for all animals? Swoon!!! These two are perfect for each other, and the drama that they navigate from outside forces is equally as entertaining as the family antics. Love it when the Johnson family gets together. The narrators did a great job of bringing this world to life with passionate performances full of vibrancy.
I loved this so much! The Johnson brothers have me HOOKED, and I’m so excited for more to come. The way these men love is so swoon worthy, and it was so much fun seeing Tully fall for Dean who literally feel for Tully we he first say her in book one. The steamy scenes were so hot, and I just loved this couples brand of love. I’ll take one Dean to go please!
His to Please was a fast pace romance that will give you all you need for one satisfying read! I’d definitely recommend anyone pick this up, and read book one as well. These brothers are something else and their stories just give off comfort read vibes. You won’t be disappointed!
Tully wants to keep her relationship with Dean a secret because of her job. However, soon her boss becomes too much to handle. Dean wants Tully and will wait for her to want to let others know about them. Soon she doesn't like them not being public about their relationship and tells Dean she ready and she always quits her job. Will she finally get her dream to work her vet bus? Will there be issues about her and Dean being together?
This is an amazing story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Absolutely loved this story about Dean and Tully(Tallulah) Tully wants to keep her and dean's relationship a secret but it's doesn't happen that way. The chemistry between these two is off the charts and I love how dean is patience with tully. A wonderful read hot with loveable characters who make make you laugh and keep reading to find out out what the result will be.love that there is a Epilogue at the end of the book. Also love when finish reading there was a bonus scene that you can download. Also there is a preview story of Fletch who was also in book. Can't wait to read about the other brothers and the women in there lives.
Dean and Tully are made for each other, and Dean knows that Tully is his one and only in life and will give her time to come to terms with them being a couple. Unfortunately for her every else knows it, Birdie her BF knows it, all the Johnson brothers know it, Momma Johnson knows it. Only Tully holds out thinking no one else does. But in her heart, she doesn’t really care, she is falling head over heels in love with her man. And heck he is so far gone with her he can barely breath sometimes when he sees her. The sex between them is often and amazing. This was a really good book and a quick read because the story is that good.
This was such an enjoyable read! I loved Dean and Tully! They had a sweet relationship they kept hidden for reasons but I loved seeing things play out and it was funny what Dean had to do when his brothers found out! I loved how independent Tully was! She was a perfect fit for Dean! It had some sad moments concerning the animals but luckily it all turned out well. This is a close knit and funny family that I enjoy getting to know! Can’t wait for more! This is my honest opinion of this complimentary copy of this book
I love a good family series and this one has been amazing! Tallulah is new to town having moved there after college with her best friend. She is trying to make a name for herself working at the local vets office. She's also seeing Dean who is her best friends future brother in law. She wants to keep it on the down low since the family owns a ranch and she's afraid how that will be perceived by the local ranchers. In the end keeping things a secret ends up being to much and the job wasn't what Tallulah truly wanted anyway.
His to Please is book 2 in the Rowdy Johnson Brothers series written by the talented author Tory Baker. This is a new series featuring 6 sexy cowboys, the Johnson Brothers from the small town of Arrowleaf, Wyoming. This second book is about Dean Johnson, a dirty talking alpha cowboy & Tallulah Jennings, a sexy veterinarian and best friend of Birdie. The story is sweet and the chemistry between Dean and Tully is off the charts HOT! I want to move to The Johnson Brothers Ranch!!!! Can't wait to read Lawson or JW's story next !!!
I received this as an arc from the author and I’m voluntarily leaving my honest review.
This was a fantastic cowboy romance. It was a well written story with a great flow. It was the second book in the series and though it could probably be read as a standalone I would definitely recommend reading in order to get a better understanding of the characters. Dean and Tully had fantastic chemistry and I loved how willing Dean was to accept her terms for being together because he just wanted to be with her. I absolutely loved the story.
These cowboys are amazing!! As well as this series. I know it’s only book two , but like I said these cowboys reel you in with their charm and sense of family. Dean and Tullys book is so awesome. Tory baker really writes a magical story in book 2 . I’ve really enjoyed every minute of it.
Separately Dean and Tully are great characters. They’re hard working and love fiercely. Together they make a fantastic couple.
I hope you give this book as well as this series a chance. Because I know these books will only get better and better.
Tory Baker has written another quick and steamy page turner. Dean and Tully were both amazing characters with so much chemistry, it's a miracle they don't combust. But being new to Aarowleaf, Tully is intent on keeping their relationship private until she proves herself. But Dean is completely and totally obsessed with Tully and he ready to let the world know they are together. And who doesn't appreciate a sexy cowboy! Can't wait for the next book.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Well, Tory Baker did it again. What do I mean? She is out here making me wish for a dirty talking, possessive, family man, and protective cowboy in my life. He is just perfect. Who? Dean Johnson. Because that family just keeps getting better and better with their sons. This is a couldn't put down once I started the book. Filled with insta-love and a man who is willing to do anything to his woman happy. I can't wait to read more from her and the remaining of the brothers. I'm pretty sure we are getting Fletcher's story first. But that's all right. I'm excited for his story, too.
Tully Jennings is the new large animal veterinarian in the area. She works for old man Herbert at the Herbert Veterinarian Clinic. She is having sex with Dean Johnson. Dean’s brother Lane is marrying Tully’s best friend Birdie. Tully does not want an open relationship because she is fighting the stereotype that a woman can’t be a good large animal veterinarian.
I loved that Dean was patient with Tully even though he was okay with people knowing they were seeing each other.
I really like these characters.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The Rowdy Johnson Brothers series is back and this time its Dean and Tallulah’s story and it did not disappoint. I love how Dean falls hard for Tully that he agrees to keep their relationship a secret. But with a small town it will only take a minute until everyone knows your business especially with a large family like the Johnson. And what happens next was a sweet and steamy romance story that will have you cheering for their forever.
The second book in the series is Tully and Dean's story.
Tully has moved to town to be with her best friend and start on her career as a big animal vet. When she meets Dean, the connection is strong, but she is not ready for everyone to know.
Dean wants to do what Tully ask, but he also wants her to be his. He fights between what she wants and what he desires.
Great addition to the series and an amazing read that has you melting in your seat.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Tully/ Talulah and Dean have been secretly hooking up. Dean is all in and wants the world to know that Tully is his. She’s new to town and working at the local vet clinic. She’s used to doing things on her own and making her own way and doesn’t want it to look like she’s riding the coattails of Dean and his family. This was a hot steamy romance that sizzled off the pages. Tully is hardworking and independent. Dean may have a hard exterior from working in a ranch but when it comes to Tully he live to take care of her and to love and support her always. I received an arc copy of this book.
