╰┈➤ My thoughts (spoiler free)

I didn’t choose a song for this review because frankly, I didn’t feel like it. No need to waste a perfectly good song in a review for a book I didn’t like.

This was honestly so sucky. It was so short so there was no time for the romance to develop, they fell “in love” so fast. Grace drove me bonkers. The plot was pretty bad. Pretty disappointing after I fairly enjoyed the first two books in this series. Honestly I only read this to count one more book towards my February reading.
═════════════════
╰┈➤ Characters

Grace - Ugh. She was so annoying, disrespectful, obsessive, and immature. She went through Neil’s phone when he didn’t want her to, went behind her parents back on everything, and still fangirled over the entire band even once dating Neil. I don’t get what he sees in her.

Neil - He was okay. Funny, but I liked Hudson and Jude better for sure.
═════════════════
╰┈➤ Spoilers below!

Gosh I am so sick of them hiding the girl every single time. Like it’s getting old, and it’s also a bad influence on readers. Like, that’s not what you do guys. You don’t sneak behind everyone’s back. It never ends well.

Ah so cute 😍😍😍

Loved that they didn't have a big fight kinda so refreshing and pure!!! This was so adorable but the one thing I wished the author included was who is who on the gc at the end (NVM I DIDN'T REALIZE THIS WAS THE 3RD BOOK)

Sequel! Sequel! Sequel!

Where was the spell check?

The general story is great. The amount of misspelled words or incorrect grammer just made the whole thing difficult to read at times. Makes me want to reach out and just proofread for grammatical errors so that the story flowed better. It was rough.

3.5 stars. i started this book at 8:30 in the morning and i just finished it at 9:45 and the same morning…….i so wish it was longer but it was so good! it probably was my least fav in the series because it was so short there was no time for character development or a very detailed plot, but the storyline was great!!

This book was sooo good!! Neil is probably my favorite T5 member (and not just because he's based off Niall) He's funny, adorable, and an all around good mmc. Grace I liked a lot (being a fellow fangirl ofc) she's spunky and cute and a really good fmc. The book was well written and intriguing and I had a really good time reading it.

The plot to this book was the funniest and most creative thing ever, sadly it was short and felt a bit repetitive. But overall I am loving this series!

It was such an adorable book and I don’t have any complaints. This whole series is cute and easy to read! It took me 30-45 minutes to finish the book. Also, the books are £2.97 each on Kindle so this series is really great when in a reading slump. I recommend.

Fangirl Fanfiction

Ever read fanfiction? This fits perfectly. OK, the band isn't real but it might as well be. A feelgood meet cute with HEA. Smooth reading that slots in perfectly with the first two books. Probably the easiest of the three stories to relate to, also the youngest audience.

"Wow, you really think highly of yourself, deciding you're my favorite boyband."
"Say what you want, Grace, but I saw all the fanfiction on your phone. I know you love us."

What a good book. When I started reading this series none of the girls had really been a fan of the band but this was a fun addition to the series.

Grace was sweet and fun. I enjoyed how the author captured the fangirling of a boy band. It’s like when One Direction was big and people were giant fans and wherever you looked, there was a fanfiction about them. So I liked how there was a fan girl who dated one of the boys in the band. I also enjoyed that after Neil told Grace stuff they had experienced at school with all the fan girls, she kinda stepped away and it was sweet to see her growth in the book.

Neil was fun. He is one of the more quiet guys in the band but it was fun to see he can be crazy or wild if he’s got a girl who brings it out of him. It was also nice to see the group chat again and the other boys. Not much other boy band guys interaction, but a nice switch up to just her and him.

It was a quick read and I enjoyed the premise and how they started to get to know each other. And how quickly they realized they liked each other. Can’t wait for the last two!

This one is my least favorite book in the entire series. I am sorry Grace is annoying and childish, and frankly way to over the top. I get that Take 5 is her favorite band but really knowing everything about them down to the smallest detail? That's creepy and down right stalkerish.
Now, the whole phone swapping bit is super cute idea. However, the way Grace was texting Ni-Ni (Neil) was annoying as all get out. "Can I have the password to your phone?, You have my password I was your password! How dare you not give a total stranger your password to your phone!" Like really? No, absolutely not. Then when she found out whose phone it was she guessed the password, because she is a stalker (not really..but kinda). Then proceeds to go through his phone, pictures, apps, messages, to which she finds a group chat and messages everyone pretending to be him! Yeah, I am sorry but Neil should have RAN as fast as he could away from Grace.

This book was genuinely so good and I would totally recommend it if you love One Direction and other boy bands . It’s definitely the kind of book that you can put yourself into and dream about which I love. I’m genuinely so obsessed with this series and other work by the same author . I’ve read the Parkhurst Prep series as well and I really like it. I think this is a really great author if you want a non spicy romance but still really good.

Loved the switched phone angle. Also didn’t picture her blonde for some reason. Love that her sister was involved too but neither knew. Grace was definitely a crazy fangirl not sure why Neil would be for that but it was still cute. All the books are like super fast and they all fall in love in a month.

Neil and Grace’s story was cute. I really enjoyed how they started talking . There were a few mistakes that could improve with edits, but they didn't take me out of the heart of the story. Neil and Grace’s was a little too insta for me, but I still love these characters and their world.

Neil, mate, are you okay?

Grace, love, are you okay?

Am I okay? I don't know.

even though this one was probably my least favourite in the series it STILL DID NOT DISAPPOINT!

Although Grace was low-key a teeny-weeny (except massively) c r a z y, it was in a loveable way (at least Neil thought it was cute). there were many many (many) moments when I thought Neil should run for the hills but ultimately I'm really glad he didn't.

such a cute read

An ok and quick read. I didn't love how fast their relationship progressed, they don't have many moments thought the book that makes their love and relationship believable. It also had some typos here and there.

i prefer jude and sloane but i LOVE THIS BOOK!! neil and grace are my cuties!! i love the plot, i mean switching phones by ACCIDENT and falling in love? UGH. i need this. him knowing who she was and her realising it is LITERALLY one of the boys in her favourite boy band?! again, the timeline adds up with the last two books but grace isn’t mentioned as much in that. but, SHES NOT ON TWITTER. like come on, i lived for those tweets. they were HILARIOUS. neil is so baby boy and i love him. grace is so funny and like.. ME. plus him reading her FANFICTION and EDITING IT?! that’s wild. i would’ve DIED of embarrassment. but also, why are the books having less and less writing within each one?? like 230 pages to now like 180?! PLEASE, i need more of my pookies. I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS SERIES!! so happy for FINNS BOOK!!! AHDHJSHSHSHB
