Equal parts delectable, mysterious, and addictive. We came for vampire smut, but got a meal of sexy, complex characters and a compelling story. Fate of the Damned is utterly, sinfully delicious. I triple dog dare you to pick a favorite (mine’s Fallon 😏). A must-read.

Okay, so I was SO blessed to be given the honor to read Fate of the Damned early and blurb it and here are my thoughts…

HOLY MOTHER OF ALL THAT IS HOT, BLOODY, BEAUTIFUL, and ADDICTING!!! This dark, seductive, and erotic story kept me on my toes and begging for more! Fate of the Damned has everything a paranormal vampire romance lover would crave. There’s horror, passion, mystery, love, acceptance, rich backstory, plot, and world building, intense fighting scenes, amazing dialogue and banter and of course out of this world hot and heavy sex scenes.

The three vampire mmc’s Kai, Wilder, and Fallon are these incredibly different yet stunning and dangerous creatures of the night who could so easily off someone for merely looking at them the wrong way yet when they are with their human lover Lena, are so kind, caring, and protective of her. They treat her like an absolute queen outside of sex and during it and are huge on consent and making sure her and each partner are ready and okay with everything beforehand and I freaking LOVED seeing that. They all treat each other with so much love, respect, and endearing affection—it’s just so beautiful to see. I easily became obsessed with Kai, Wilder, and Fallon’s unique personalities and eternal relationship amongst the three of them. And then they met Lena and three became four 😍 Kai, Wilder, and Fallon would do absolutely anything for one another, and now that they have their Lena, they’d burn the world for her too. But then again, so would Lena for them. Ahhh! They’re all just so perfect for one another and I love them and their relationship so much.

I cannot wait to see where this story leads, especially after that intense cliff hangar! 😅

Brittany did an amazing job creating such a dark yet hauntingly beautiful story and world. If book one was this wild, passionate, and intense, I already know book two is going to blow my ever loving mind.

I feel like I've read this book 100 times already. That's not such an awful thing, but it is if the book isn't excellent enough to make up for overused plots and tropes. I started considering a DNF pretty early on, but made it to about 55%. At that point, I started skimming and eventually gave up and read the ending.

Fate of the Damned ran me through about a million emotions. From “ooh screw this jerk” to “hell yes girl sass that immortal man who could kill you” to “ooooh okay I see you vampire polycule” to “THATS HOT” to “OH SHIT”.

Anyway if you like vampires and spiciness and you could follow all of that, you should read FOTD. It’s a fanging good time 🤩

I was blessed with an ARC of Fate of the Damned and it was quite the ride!! When the throuple of hot vampire hit men meet their latest mark, they know what they have to do but do they have the strength to do it? Kai, Fallon, and Wilder are great characters but Fallon is chefs kiss! The spice is top tier and the story has twists and turns that had me on the edge of my seat and unable to put this down! I’m already needing the next one in this series because the cliff hanger has me in a chokehold!! I loved every minute of this and will give it a reread before the next in the series comes out!

After the first 3 chapters i knew i would be obsessed! I flew through this book in 2 days!

Who doesnt love vampire smut! 3 MMC, bi ! God it was so good. The spicy scenes were so good the banter, the personalities of each vampire. The FMC is such a bad ass and not scared of anyone or anything and i can say without a doubt it had me on the edge of my seat plenty of times! I would give it 10 stars if i could ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had high hopes for this book. But sadly, I was bored. Not 25% in and I’m debating on DNF. I soldiered on only to start skipping sentences at 50%… at 59% I started skipping pages. Two stars because I liked the idea of the story, the book just didn’t follow through.

Two words... VAMPIRE SMUTT ✨️✨️
I picked up this book as a quick smutt read and ended up staying for the plott and the characters. 3 bi MMC, Kai (leader of the group, serious I'll kill you vibes) Wilder (youngest, psycho, will kill you with a smile on his face) and Fallon (grumpy shadow daddy vibesss). 1 FMC Valentina (good girl sunshine vibes). I loved the focus around consent in this book and the overall treatment of the FMC by the MMC. Even with Fallon's brooding, he was never unrebeamable in my mind and that was refreshing. This book does end on a major cliff hanger with book 2 being unreleased at this time 😭 can't wait for book 2.

I sped through the last bit of this book and Britt has to write the sequel asap because that cliffhanger was rude lmao (also me finishing this on Valentines Day was poetic haha)

Finally! A vampire smut series with a really good story line! Wish book 2 was out already!!

I absolutely loved this book! Part of me hates that it's an ARC read because that means the second book is that much further out and I want it NOW.

If you do have any triggers, you'll want to read the warning in the beginning of the book. Personally, the warning made me want to read it more.

Reading romantasy got me back into reading romance. Wanting more detailed scenes, and more sex scenes in general, made me want to read erotica. Fate of the Damned is my first erotica and it absolutely delivered. I was honestly expecting a ton of sex scenes with a weak plot and for the first half of the book or so, it is a lot of sex and the relationships forming between Lena and the male vampire throuple. But it does build to an actual, strong plot. It's a story that, without the erotica elements, could still be a great story of vampires trying to protect this new human they've fallen in love with from the powerful vampire Faction.

Valentina (AKA Lena) is the daughter of the CEO of Cylane Tech, set to inherit the business. But she's not just another pretty face. Lena has worked hard to achieve her position rather than relying on nepotism. The vampire Faction, however, has put a bounty on her head for reasons currently unknown. When the best hunters go after their mark, two of them make the mistake of wanting to play with her first while the other is guilt-ridden by their task. While in the throes of passion with Kai and Wilder, Fallon saves Lena from being literally torn apart, paving the way for the three vampires to recognize an inescapable draw to this human woman. Lena feels the danger around them but her craving for the vampires overrides the warning. Instead of killing Lena as the Faction ordered, they save and protect her. Or can they?

I am just head over heels for the vampires. Don't get me wrong, Lena is a great character, but I'm definitely drawn to Fallon, Wilder, and Kai and they each have their own, distinct personalities. Fallon is broody and guilt-ridden over the things he's done and felt as a vampire. Wilder is the youngest; he's impulsive, fun, and sweet. Kai is the oldest and has the smooth confidence of living for centuries. He speaks and you just melt for him. I feel like Lena because I just can't pick one as my favorite. I want them all.

I wouldn't say their relationship is completely healthy - the overprotectiveness of the vampires could be considered problematic - but I'm a sucker for a character who would burn the world down for the person they love. And this book gives you three of them. It's also huge on consent which is incredible. They won't do anything to Lena or each other without getting verbal consent first. Well, except for the part where they were supposed to kill her. They also give her their blood without consent to help her body recover from their...endeavors. At first I couldn't understand why Lena would stay with them when she could feel the danger but figured it's an erotica novel, if she didn't then there would be no story. However, after a while, I started realizing that there is more to it than that and the ending confirmed it.

The sex scenes are amazing. Having that mix of sweetness outside of sex to the raw passion of "I need to have you" in sex is perfect. Aftercare also plays a large role which is important. With the rough, consensual sex Lena has with them, afterward they make sure to take care of her. Cleaning her up, making sure she's ok, and spoiling her rotten. I honestly can't think of anything better. I also enjoyed the descriptions of those scenes though I would've liked a bit more description of when they would give her oral. I feel like it was kind of glossed over a little whereas everything else was quite detailed.

The only reason I'm taking off a star is because I did notice a number of grammatical/punctuation errors which takes me out of the story a little when I see it. But I am very particular about those types of things and others may not even notice it. And I wondered why there wasn't any worried communication from her best friend and her security team while she's spending every second of her time outside the office with the throuple.

This book is still swimming in my head. I absolutely loved it so much. I love the characters. I love that there's an actual story as well, not just sex, but that it also lived up to being erotica and having so many sex scenes that are detailed. I also liked that the author wasn't afraid to have "non-traditional" scenes such as two men having sex and a couple threesomes plus voyeurism.

Everything was done incredibly well and I bought a physical copy when it came out too!
