Dr. Rone presents a scientific viewpoint in addition to a patient's viewpoint in this slim introductory book. I think the title is a bit misleading; this is a terrific book for a newly diagnosed person who wants to understand the chemistry behind their low thyroid issues, and what the introduction of hormone replacement does to the body.
