Cross
Betrayed by an informant and hunted by enemy bikers, I didn't think I would live to see another day. Then I stumbled into her car repair shop, shot and half-dead. Dana could've turned me away or left me to bleed out, but she's an angel in disguise. She treats my wounds, not caring about the consequences. Dana thinks that once I ride away from her, I'll forget her. She has no idea about the plans I have for her. I finally found her—my queen—and I intend to claim her and make her mine.
I live in a town overrun by savage bikers. The last thing I expect is to fall hard and fast for another biker. Loved It
This was a fast-paced MC book that was a real page turner. Cross, who is a member of the Death Seekers MC, found himself in enemy territory, shot and in desperate need of a hiding place. He luck finally turns when he comes to garage where a beautiful woman is willing to help the out. Dana is risking everything in order to help Cross.
I loved the chemistry between Cross and Dana and the lengths that the strong woman went to help the handsome biker out. If you are looking for a quick MC romance that is packed full of action and on the steamy side this is a book for you.

Cross is the second book in the Death Seekers MC series and is about the club's Sergeant at Arms. Cross has ended up deep in Crimson Crows territory when he is ambushed by several of the Crows. He is shot in the arm and trying to out ride them when he again narrowly escapes, but this time with a shot to his leg. Severely injured and barely staying conscious he diverts into a small town where he finds the lights on in a mechanic shop. He is able to get himself and his bike into the garage and is trying to figure out his next move when in walks a beautiful and curvy younger woman wearing coveralls. Dana has been working at her father's garage she she was a young girl. She had not dreamed of being a mechanic and working there but when her mother died and her father fell apart she needed to leave college and come home to keep things working and money coming in. It is now several years later and she knows she will be working in the garage for the rest of her life, as her father is still drinking all the time. Plus he made a bad deal to work on Crimson Crows cycles for free, as he owed money. When she is opening up early one morning she hears a motorcycle come into the shop and when she goes to investigate she finds an injured man from a rival MC. This sets off a series of choices by both Dana and Cross that will eventually lead to an unexpected future for the both.
This was a good read with a mix of MC, gang rivalry, violence, romance, family, community, love, passion, betrayal and danger. I liked Dana and Cross together, as they were each making a choice in each other.

January 18, 2024This is book two in The Death Seekers MC series and it is Cross and Dana’s story. When Cross is seriously injured in a shootout with the enemy he didn’t think that he would live and he staggered in a car repair shop where he met Dana who is a woman that put everything including her life on the line to help hide him and nursed him back to health and Cross fell for her so hard that he vowed to himself that he would protect and keep her safe from harm. Dana lives in a town that is owned by The Crows who are a vicious and dangerous MC and if they find out that she helped and looked after Cross who is the enemy MC she will lose her life but sometimes the good out ways the bad and it is a chance that Dana was prepared to take regardless of the consequences. Cross and Dana have an instant attraction and strong chemistry between them but danger is there biggest threat and concern and it can take away their happiness and future together if they are not careful. This book is a action packed read along with danger, suspense, survival, hope and love and I absolutely loved it and had to keep turning the pages as it kept me on the edge of my seat while keeping my attention throughout and I can’t wait to read more books in this series.

If it hadn’t been for Dana who worked at a car repair shop Cross would’ve been in real trouble. She saved him when panther from the crows. MC comes looking for him. There is an instant attraction between Dana and Cross but sadly Cross isn’t in no fit state to act on it. But he does make a promise to stay in touch and always be there for her, If she needs him. One of his brothers from the death seekers MC priest comes and takes him back home to get treatment for his injury.
Dana doesn’t know what to do because panther won’t leave her alone. She has brushed him off so many times, but it seems like his patient has run out. She knows she has to call Cross to help her. But will he be there for her like he promised??
I thoroughly enjoyed this read Cross is a stand-up man who gives his word and keeps his promises. And I’ve got to say when they got together the passion is off the charts and they had a real connection. This is the first book that I read by winter Sloane and I’m really eager to read more.

As with any MC romance, loyalty and love is key. In a novella, Winter can give twist and turns that you do not see coming at the same time you are rooting for main characters as if you are part of the MC or the love interest.
Cross comes off the page as older, hard and simply dedicated to the Death Seekers MC. Until he meets Dana or better yet, Dana protects and shields Cross. In the midst of the turbulent meeting there is b9nd forged that neither saw coming but the separation made it clear, no matter what they are meant to be.
I normally understand and connect with the MMC but this time I connected with both, almost equally. I understand Cross' pull to Dana but I connected more with Dana's reluctance due to past relationships. In the end, Cross & Dana learn that life is just a series of moment that you have to live right now.

This is a MC romance with some danger, love, & brotherhood. Cross is caught in the enemy's territory and is wounded in a shootout. He takes shelter in a garage where he is discovered Dana, she & her father own & run the garage. As soon as the rival MC discovers that Dana helped Cross, she and her father are in harm's way. Dana turns to Cross for shelter and safety where they pursue their attraction to one another. What more can you ask for in an MC book: romance, danger, rival MC, & a HEA? This book checks all the boxes but is a bit short and the writer doesn't really utilize the MC rivalry to the extent possible.

This is the second book in the Death Seekers MC series, while I have read the first (Breaker), Cross could easily be read as a standalone.
Dana helps Cross after he has been shot by a rival MC and Dana and her father become caught in between the two MC factions, with Croas falling for Dana and trying to protect her.
This is an enjoyable, quick MC read with action and steam. I liked the fact that Dana was a mechanic (though not her first choice for career) and that Cross was super sweet toward Dana / fell first and hard, and would do anything to protect her.

Cross, SAA for the Death Seekers, gets himself in a bit of trouble while in Crows territory following a lead. Injured, he gets himself to safety as best as he can and ends up in a mechanics garage. That's where he meets Dana. Cross is a steamy, action packed, intense read. The chemistry between Cross and Dana is so hot it makes the pages steam. I love that she's a strong woman and a force to be reckoned with and while Cross is a strong determined man, they balance each other completely. Death Seekers MC is proving to be an exciting journey!

He finds refuse in a little garage that happens to be open and pushes his bike behind a car and hides behind a car. Cross is found by Dana who doctors him up until he can be picked up by his buddy. Does the rival MC come back and find Cross? Do they find out that Dana helped the injured man?.

When Cross is ambushed and injured by a rival MC he seeks solace in a garage. There he is discovered by Dana who helps him deal with his wounds and gets him back on his feet, hiding him from the ruthless MC that attacked him even though it puts her at risk.
It's a quick read but they are instantly attracted to each other. As well as the drama caused by a rival MC there is also a few issues caused by Dana's alcoholic father but there were some sweet moments because of this.
It was a good introduction to the Death Seekers even though it's the second book in the series.

Wow, so good! I have read other novels by this author and this novel did not disappoint. Although it was like a novella it was still so very good. From the first fews chapters I was pulled into this novella and did not want to put it down. I loved Dana, she was strong, kind and caring. I loved Dana and Cross together. Their chemistry was so good! I cant' wait to see what is coming next in this series. Loved it!

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is a fast paced MC romance with danger and risks being taken by both Cross and Dana. He's in enemy territory, injured and finds the woman who is meant to be his. Dana takes a chance to help him, knowing it could cost her everything. I liked both of the characters and how the storyline played out. There's plenty of suspense to go along with the chemistry and sparks between them. It is a good addition to the series

Cross was in enemy territory and hit. He hides in a garage to get Way. The rivals double back, however the owner helps him out. By helping him out she puts herself and father in danger. Cross and Dana begin to talk when the other MC comes after Dana and her father, Cross returns to save them. Great short story.

Cross is in his enemy’s territory when he gets shot and ends up meeting Dana. Because of their interaction it places Dana and her father in a dangerous situation. There is violence that results in injury and death but there is more to the story. Lots of heat, plenty of brotherhood adds to the story.

It was okay, nothing really exciting. More of an insta love romance with a like MC thrown in for background. The characters were very one dimensional the storyline did not make me invested in their relationship. Overall is an okay quick read, but nothing to really make it a standout book.

This was a short, one sitting read with action from the first page. To be honest everything was super rushed and I think too much was trying to be fit into the length of the novella. A solid 3 stars and a good way to pass a couple of hours.

Helping out Cross might be a mistake because if it’s found out things will be bad. The fact he stumbled into Dana’s auto shop can be looked at as fate. Cross wants Dana for keeps. But the people who shot him have other ideas!.

I found this book to be a very good read.
The story flowed really smoothly and was well written.
