Please he spreads her juices on the cross of his chain EVERYTIME he makes her come so he can lick it later when he misses her.

& they said romance is dead.

Diego was so so so down bad for her with NO SHAME. Like he’s a whole capo but will drop everything to fly across state lines just to see her before he even knew who she was or the power she held in her hands.

Imagine you’re the consigliere of Chicago, you command powerful men and are the head of the outfit so naturally you have to be strong and fearless in public. But in PRIVATE? You get to be just a woman who doesn’t NEED to be taken care of but gets to be worshipped by a fine ass, ruthless and equally powerful man who treats you like a QUEEN.

This book was so addictive, their chemistry was insane and watching them fight & f*ck their way through everything was so HOT.

I said it once and imma say it again, Hayley Jenner sure knows how to make use of some 💦

This was just the book I've been looking for! Arranged mafia romance with a Twist with a capital T!! Once I started reading I knew I couldn't stop until I reached the end because the dynamic between these characters demand your attention. Sleep pffft - who needs sleep...

The push and pull between Sia and Diego was delicious. Their attraction was genuinely primal and it poured from the pages. I loved how the heroine wasn't your average mafia woman, she was so much more and he was there for all of it! He is one of my favourite heroes from HJ and I have to say this book has some of the best sex scenes they've ever written.

This story had me in a ch0ke hold (pun intended 😉) because Diego is the exact type of growly, filthy "hunter" I love! Grab your copy today

I received an ARC of this book.

Spoilers ahead

I really enjoyed the first two books in this series but unfortunately this one didn't follow that pattern

Diego is a capo in New Yorks mafia operation, for months he's been obsessed with the hooded woman in the primal play videos he watched. Now he's ready to be the hunter .

Alessia is the consigliera of Chicago's outfit, her brother is in prison and she's been helping hold down the fort until his release. A powerful woman, she's the widow of a much older billionaire she married in an arranged marriage. Her participation in the primal play is her only freedom. She's never wanted to be caught.....until him

******
Dear author I love virgins in my mafia stories but a 35 year old windowed virgin was maybe just a little too much 🙄
After the first two books this one was a major let down, the MMC of the previous books desperately wanted their women.....Diego wanted to fuck Alessia but he was basically trapped into marrying her as she attempted to save his life from her brother
Part of my problem with this book is that I'm not a fan of the older woman trope. It's made worse by the fact that Diego was in a whole other city and no one respected him there. Had he had a reputation like Vincent's maybe this could've worked but him ineffectually threatening everyone made me cringe in embarrassment. He just didn't have the power that the previous men had and unfortunately came across as a boy.
I did not feel the chemistry between these two.
He's been obsessed with watching her for months but it sounds like he had sex with ow in between which my previous mmcs would NEVER do ( I'm choosing to believe no though).
The best part of this was the brewing war with the Irish ( I can just see Leo's woman being that Irish girl) and the situation with Alessia's best friend's "death" . I literally gasped out loud when that secret was revealed.
All in all this one didn't hit my sweet spot like the previous books did but I'll definitely try more from this author and look forward to the two pairings I can already see coming

No cheating
Older h/younger H
10 year age gap I believe
Primal play
ETA the h participated in primal play with other men over the years, she didn't have sex with them....she just let them chase her through the woods🤷🏿‍♀️ to each their own no kink shaming over here

Dark mafia romance by Haley Jenner hits different. They brings the sexy beauty of antiheroes with heartaching feels so effortlessly. Righteous Deceit also gives us an epic queen for our dangerous antihero. Because Alessia is equally, if not more, edgy and ruthless and fierce in every aspect. The chemistry was all kinds of explosive and sinful. The adrenaline rush was so real. And yet, the raw emotions would play the central role.

Diego Greco, the capo of New York mafia, was obsessed with Red Treasure..The voluptuous beauty in the online event called The Quest, where women are willingly hunted for pleasure and pain. The earth drops from under his feet, when he meets Alessia Bianchi, the Consigliere of Chicago Mafia. She is Red Treasure. Alessia has kept all secrets of her life carefully to protect her family, her brother, their Organization..but Diego won't stop till every secret comes out. Specially when she has to force him into marriage..under difficult circumstances.

Alessia stole the show here. I refuse to use the word hero or heroine here because she stood as tall as Diego here. She is the basda&& boss b1tch who reigns in a world that's dominated by men. They have tried to drag her down but she is smart, powerful and sassy enough to rule by her brother’s side. But even the strongest queen has her pain and darkness and fears. The Quest was the place where she dropped her guard and let her fantasies play wild. That's how Diego entered her world. But he was different than other men. He is addicted to Alessia. He wants to worship her but also wants to claim her and own her..all while accepting her power. I love an alpha who respects and worships his woman while claiming her body and soul. The marriage was a desperate attempt on Alessia's part to protect everyone but it made Diego angry for some time as he felt Alessia played her. Before the marriage, their only interaction was through the hunt. Diego didn't belive in love. He wanted to avoid all the pain that comes with love. But Alessia invaded his heart. It was hate to love for a while and their nuclear hot chemistry did all the talking. But slowly they fell in love and it was an emotional rollercoaster. It goes against Diego's nature as the ultimate alpha to let his woman play with fire but he trusts Alessia and he believed in her and he accepted her position. Alessia always tries to be this super strong, never failing, never falling queen but it can be exhausting. Diego gave her the safe space to unravel. It was such a unique dynamics and not something I have read a lot in mafia romance. Diego proves that it's possible to be a jealous possessive alpha while letting his queen shine. And I love this grumpy brooding alpha extra for that. Alessia has suffered through a lot of pain, she has sacrificed a lot, she has hidden her grief from everyone and she absolutely deserved someone epic like Diego to love.

Ps why does mafia romance have the best bromance?

I can usually take or leave a mafia romance, but when Haley Jenner adds another book to the Lies of the Underworld series, I'm ready to take all that they'll give me and more.

Alessia Bianchi was born into the mafia family and she's the closest thing to a boss that any female could be. She's loyal, but has her secrets. Always in full control, she thrives on entering the forest to be chased...hunted...as prey. It's just a game, so she knows that she's safe. That is until Diego Greco becomes her hunter. Alessia finds herself wanting to be captured, and when her life collides with Diego's, she'll do whatever she has to protect those she cares about.

As with all of this author duo's books, this is an intricately woven tale. There are secrets, lies, and a bit of mystery to unfold. Although a bit of a slow burn, the steam here burns HOT, and I could not get enough of Alessia and Diego together. This is a mafia romance, so although it's not what I consider overly dark, it obviously has some darker aspects. Some readers should check out the trigger warnings.

In addition to Alessia and Diego, I loved catching up with the other characters from this series (seriously, I can never get enough of Vincent), and I can't wait to see what story unfolds next.

🔥🔥🔥

Diego Greco, the notorious capo of New York's mafia, found himself consumed with desire for Red Treasure, a seductive woman participating in an online event known as The Quest where pleasure and pain are freely interchanged. But everything changed when he met Alessia Bianchi, the Consigliere of Chicago's Mafia, and realized that she was the woman behind the screen. Alessia, who had always kept her personal life hidden to protect her family and their organization, must now confront Diego's relentless pursuit, which only grows stronger after she is forced into marriage under challenging circumstances. The tension between Sia and Diego was palpable, and their raw, primal attraction leapt off the pages AND he spreads her juices on the cross of his chain EVERYTIME he makes her come so he can lick it later when he misses her. 🤌🏽🤌🏽

Delicious! I thoroughly enjoyed the first two books in this series and this third installment didn't disappoint either. It brought the heat, the touch of darkness, and angst.

Alessia is as high in the mafia world as a female can possibly get. Born into it but also fought and worked as hard as any man to be consigliera and the right-hand woman of her twin brother, the head of their Chicago outfit. The only pleasure she indulges in is participating in a very exclusive club's monthly occasions where she lets herself be hunted.
She's also a widower and when she's basically forced to re-marry, she has two choices. Marry her late husband's son or a NY capo - also the man who's been hunting her at those events for months.
Her biggest secret keeps her from choosing the first option so Diego Greco it is.
She can't help but feel like she's trapped him but little does she know, she's been his end game all along and no secret can keep him from claiming her like she's claimed him.

Sexy, angsty, and a little fucked up, what else could we possibly ask for?

I really hope this was not the last book in this series!

Haley Jenner has done it again! They’ve written a hot steamy explosive mafia romance that I’ve become obsessed with! There’s so much going on but I don’t want to give anything away just know this one is spicy it’s emotional it’s sexy and sinful with all the feels and a plot that is by no means over shadowed with the spice I can’t wait for the next book already!

Sadly, this is my least favorite installment in the underground series. That's not to say that it's a bad book or poorly written, because it's not, but in comparison with the other books and the other couples, this one falls short. Maybe it was the reverse age gap (which has never been my favorite trope) the instant love yet hate and obsession that Diego had for Alessia, and the way their sexual chemistry outweighed the storyline and their actual romance. I did really love how in charge Alessia was in this male dominated world, and that her brother both respected and looked for her opinion. There's nothing more I love than seeing a mafia queen wielding her crown!

All in all, this wasn't a bad book at all. There was some really intense scenes and the last 20-30% is non stop action. But it sort of felt like it was one big set up for the next book to take place, and let me tell you, I'm REALLY looking forward to that one! So if you're looking for a new mafia world to dip your toes into, I still can't recommend this series enough!!

**I received an ARC of this book and these are my honest opinions **

This books has me feeling new kinds of primal. Who knew hunting each other was a kink? Not me. I was super confused at first, but not gonna lie, it was hot as hell. It felt almost out of this world.

Haley Jenner always brings the heat, but what I love most about their writing is the plot that they weave in a mafia tale. I like a trashy book, but I also like to actually be able to follow a storyline that makes sense and keeps my attention, and they excel at this.

I loved the reverse age gap. I loved the tense. I loved the he-falls-first. I loved the mafia queen. I loved it all.

Another win for this impeccable series.

We LOVE a man who can let his woman be and feel powerful but can also chase her through the woods as foreplay...

Alessia Bianchi was born a mafia daughter. She always knew what that meant for her future. But a series of events in addition to the love and respect of her twin brother allowed her to become Consigliere, below only the Chicago Syndicate boss who is also her brother. She’s already given up her youth to a loveless, arranged marriage for the family and is now a young widow.
She’s used to wearing the mask of power and indifference, except during The Quest. During the hunt, she can let loose knowing she’s still, in a way, in control. But when her secret pastime and cutthroat reality collide she has to decide how to keep everyone around her safe, quickly. No matter the cost.

Diego Greco is the stoic, serious Capo to the New York Syndicate boss. He's brutal and the tech genius inside the family. Diego prefers few words and even fewer personal connections. He thrives on control and staying 3 steps ahead of any situation. Until he finds The Quest and becomes enraptured with one of the participants. Until he finds out that participant in Alessi Bianchi. Until he gets a taste and can't help hating her as much as he wants to have more.

If you like mafia, secrets, primal, and badass female characters then stop what you're doing and read this. The dynamic between Diego and Alessi was PERFECT. How he wanted her to know she was a badass while also needing to be in control when they were alone. I couldn't stop reading once I got into the story.

The primal scenes... BABESSSS. This book had me ready to start back up at the gym and prepare to be chased through the woods. That paired with Diego's grumpy/serious personality and dirty mouth. He was SO HOT.

This was the more intricate plot, in my opinion, of the three books and potentially a slightly slower burn if I really think about it. But I didn't notice while I was reading because I was too busy fanning myself from all the sexual tension.

Also... Diego's cross necklace... that's all I'll say. HALEY JENNER YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID! *New Kink Unlocked*

Who doesn't love a badass Fmc. I loved the dynamic between the couple. I love reading age gap romance books but this one is on another level. I devoured the whole book in one day.

Tropes:
◇Mafia
◇Touch her/him and die
◇Arranged Marriage
◇Primal
◇Reverse Age-gap
◇Female Boss

Some of my fav parts:

●“Blood doesn’t make a family, Alessia. Sometimes, blood is what teaches what a family should never be."

●“I’m not your fucking plaything. I’m a fucking consigliera.” Her words are fierce, but her delivery lacks all conviction.
“You are a consigliera. You are also my plaything, and I think we both know which role you enjoy more.”

●You can’t be loved without feeling its broken effects a time or two.”

●“If I’m not willing to lay down my life, if I’m not willing to watch another bleed to protect what’s mine, then it’s not the type of love I want.”

●“Jesus.”
Pulling back, I kiss her right thigh. “Sia, I’m your only savior.” I kiss her left thigh. “And I’m not here to cleanse your sins. I’m here to drown you in them. So when you pray, do it to your devil.”

I LOVED THE DEDICATION TOO MUCH🫠
☆To the boss bitches who will only accept a man who treats them like the motherfucking queens they are…
this one is for you.

3.5 🌶️⁣

I wasn't expecting the book to go the way it did, but I totally enjoy it. It's a reverse age gap, marriage of convenience, mafia romance, female boss, and primal. I'm not someone who tends to pick up reverse age gap, but this one was done perfectly. Haley Jenner did an awesome with this book.

Diego and Sia loves participating in The Quest where Sia is the prey and Diego is the hunter. But they don't know who they are because they have a mask on. When Diego met Sia out of the Quest, he immediately knew it was Sia. They were both attracted to each other, but they didn't think they would have to get married.

Sia had secrets that no one knows besides a few of people who's close to her. What will happen when Diego finds out the truth?

The push and bull, the steam, the things that comes out of Diego's mouth. Haley Jenner definitely have top notch dirty talking. Lol

I can't wait what's going to happen in the series/world. If you love mafia romance, definitely pick it up.

Haley Jenner is a new author for me and absolutely a new favorite. I’ve enjoyed then Lies of the Underworld series so freaking much and I’m anxiously awaiting to see who’s story we get next. (praying for Salvatore 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼)

Alessia and Diego are everything.
I love the intensity of their relationship, the intense/passionate way they meet and come together lays the groundwork for an insanely hot storyline throughout the course of the novel.

The push and pull between them is so perfectly done. The irony of Alessia’s position in the Family and her insecurities in life is a perfectly done and not too much. Diego is so stone faced and cold, but the way he loses control for Sia and his ultimate obsession with her is heart-stoppingly good. 🙌🏼

Incredibly well done, Sia and Diego’s journey is full of twists and turns and a happily ever after that made my heart full. ☺️☺️☺️

I'm a huge fan of this writing duo. I love that they don't shy away from showing the dirty underbelly of the Mafia. Yet, despite the violence, they still mange to make it enticing. Much like the Godfather movies or the Soprano television series, it shows the loyalty and strong family values. There is something powerful to watching people abide by those values. So it's no wonder that the idea of Mafia is often romanticized despite the killing and unsavory methods to make money.

This was refreshing to see a woman in power who was strong but also had a soft side. It was even nicer seeing a man who appreciated that about her and saw her as an equal. I loved them together. They were a great addition to this world. My only real complaint was the twist at the end and how that was handled as it felt like it was brushed over pretty quickly. I'm hoping that's going to be addressed in future books.

idk this book was really good at first and then the middle was so bad. It took me so long to get through it. The end was good but because the middle was so bad I gave it a 3 star. The plot was all over the place and it felt very insta lovey but slow and the same time. Like they met a day ago and he’s breaking into her house?? And she’s not totally freaked out. Also the whole thing with Alessia being a “badass” was so fake. We barely saw her in a position of power and it was hard to believe she was second in command.

They just kept saying she was a baddie but it was all talk and no show. This girl murdered one person and is a “queen”? Diego was weird and had no personality. The book was also really repetive and felt like i had read it before. It was predictable too.

Righteous Deceit is Alessia Lincoln's story and it was a really enjoyable read. Alessia is a interesting character to read, she is her brother's consigliere and not someone you can walk over. I loved how Diego and her met in the Quest game it was an interesting concept that took me a little bit to get my head round. Diego becomes obsessed by the mystery woman he plays with, lets just say meeting her in person doesn't live up to his expectations. The resulting relationship is like a game of cat and mouse where the push and pull of their attraction is complicated by their positions in the families. I like that Alessia is higher placed than him and he doesn't try to undermine her at all. There are plenty of twists in the story that surprised and kept me guessing. The addition of characters from the previous books made me happy as I loved catching up with them.

I don’t know how I feel about this… I didn’t hate it. But I also will not remember much. The whole hunting thing confused me a little in the beginning, but I’ll probably remember this one as the one in which they liked hunting each other in the forest and fucking. But oh well. I’m excited for Salvatore and leonardo’s books though! Do we all secretly hope it’s Leonardo and that Irish girl? He’s so messy that I am ready 😁 it’s weird so far I have been meh on books 1 and 3, really enjoyed book 2. But I am hyped to continue this series.

I made the mistake of starting this at 10am and it is now 5pm. I would have finished earlier but I had pesky things like feeding myself. God, this was so good. I'm obsessed with this entire series.
Like SHE's (Alessia) the older boss a$$ b!tch, but still submits to her wolf. And he, (Diego) stands beside her while she does her thing but don't let him catch anyone try to disrespect her. OBSESSEDDDDDD.

"They talk about the line between love and hate being a fine one. They're irrefutably wrong. The line between lust and hate is hairline."

With RIGHTEOUS DECEIT Haley Jenner have played this hairline like a burning violin, crafting a mafia tale that elevates the persona of 'alpha male' to a whole new level and 'fragile heroine' into a model for every strong modern woman, whilst giving each a partner they lustfully deserve.

Alessia (Bianchi) Lincoln, consigliere of the Chicago mafia syndicate, has had to become a tough, ruthless mafia queen in order to survive alongside her brother, in a world where those around her would sooner see her fail.
As you would expect, the woman beneath the fierce facade is hard, some parts resilient and yet parts vulnerable and fragile that must remain hidden... sometimes even from herself.
But when she's in The Quest, an erotic online game of chase where she is the hunted, she can be those parts vulnerable and stalked, whilst manipulating her environment to still feel in control. Until Diego Greco enters the forest...

Diego, a capo, whose quiet well-controlled menace makes him an invaluable solider to the New York syndicate, finds his own escape within The Quest. He is all careful planning and control, maintaining distance in all things interpersonal. But his unrestrained obsession with one target in particular—his "tesoruccio"—is about to get a whole lot more personal...

When the two syndicates come together to build alliances against the Irish, these two secret combatants come face to face, sparking a cat-and-mouse game of secrets, tension, lust and intrigue, and resulting in an untimely and unwanted union that sets fire to their burgeoning tryst.

I LOVE how these authors have portrayed these characters... they both have so much strength and fragility and an equal appreciation for it in each other. Diego especially, through his frustration-laced lust and twisted chivalry, still has so much respect for Sia and her position that she is taken aback and at the same time emboldened by it. You can't help but join his cheer squad in the face of her occasional vitriol.

This story celebrates and champions the powerful, unapologetic woman and her supportive, strong and sexy man, and I'm loving every minute of it!

Diego and Sia ♡

Reverse age gap, Primal Play, Female Boss. Say no more. I was hook line and sinker for Diego and Sia. There was 'my wife' and 'my husband' because these two were equally obsessive and possessive with each other. I loved Sia she was a queen and a badas$ boss b!tch... The fact that she demanded respect without coming off as dramatic was everything she wasn't afraid to throw down if needed. I also loved how Diego didn't try to change her in ANY way, he didn't walk in like I'm the man so sit down, he supported her in every way and made sure she knew she was a queen and that he'd never try to dull her shine. Ever.
I'm calling it guys!! Diego knocked Vinnie off his pedestal, and I'm not even sorry 🤷🏽‍♀️

Diego had acquired tastes that hid well from those around him. He was a Capo for the NY outfit, but every month, he set aside a day where he was unavailable. On this day, he'd satisfy his desire. Primal Play. But it was the woman who wore red who captivated him more. Her body demanded his attention, but when he saw her face, it captured his obsession. Imagine his surprise when at a meeting with the Chigago outfit, she walks in as the Consigleria to her brother. Alessia Bianchi has to fight for her position daily, being the only woman in a position of power. Many don't believe she deserves to be there. Diego only cares that she didn't recognize him, despite the fact he's always masked in their hunt. But he won't let that detail slip and makes a point to show up unannounced. And so their hunt moves to outside the walls on the maze.
But being a woman and widowed means it's not long before others are calling for her hand to be secured in marriage. When photos surface of her being in the company of two different men, the choice is made for her. But when the option means losing her hunt with Diego, she panics and forces him into an arranged marriage. Diego has always valued the fact that he has his freedom, never wanting to get married. But his new bride just made a mistake in forcing his hand. Sia doesn't know the man beneath the mask to know she just tangled herself to the dev!l, and escape will never be an option.

DAMN!!! That was INTENSE!!! After one chapter I was obsessed with Alessia and Diego! They kept me on the edge of my seat, hanging onto my kindle tightly and needing to stop for a moment just to cool off from the deliciously feral and depraved moments they were continually giving us.

I mean HOLY FREAKING WOW!! The sexual chemistry was just pouring off the pages in a raging storm of carnal lust and desire between Alessia and Diego and I honestly thought I was going to combust over the delicious ache they were creating in my lady parts. And the filthy, dirty talk coming out of Diego’s mouth – UGH – SO HOT!!!!

Alessia (Sia) is one hell of a badass MF queen!! She is fierce, witty, ruthless and oozes sexuality and femininity from her pores. I absolutely loved her right from the get-go. She had me hanging onto her every word. The witty way Sia is able to take down those that treated her or her family badly showed how much of a MF queen she was. I loved that she was so freaking much more than a meek and quiet little mafia widower.

Diego is a quiet, brooding, dark and twisted mafia man. His primal desires had him seeking out relief in a very unique way. But his monthly obsession has turned into an addiction that he can’t control. Little does he realize that the star of his addiction will walk into his mafia world and turn it upside down.

The banter between Sia and Diego was phenomenal and filled with such hate, anger, lust and desire. They either had me giggling or melting into a puddle. The way that Diego protects and fights for Sia had my head spinning and my heart aching for them. These two were just so perfect for each other but they continued to keep secrets that may be their undoing as a couple.

Absolutely phenomenal story with amazing writing that just pulls you in and will not let you go. It was filled with secrets, suspense, action, violence, pain, anger, passion and an all-consuming and undeniable love. I could not get enough of these two!!!

So amazing! I can’t wait to see which mafia man’s story comes next.
