This book does not have the format issues that have been in the previous Red Beetle books I have read. It is a good take on Goldilocks. I love the charactization of her as well as the ending of the story.

A new twist in a classic fairy tale
A spoilt brat goes to the house of the three bears and then trouble ensues for the three bears. What happens after that?
Cute read for children with lovely illustrations. Enjoyable for kids.

I didn't care for this version

I didn't like this at all. I was looking to read a simple classic to my four year old without the modern updates. I'm very disappointed.

I read Goldilocks & the Three Bears ~ Red Bettle Children's Picture Books ~ Ages 3-8 to two of my great-grandchildren and they loved it. I ended up reading it three times because they wanted to hear it again. Preschool children show appreciation for stories by asking for them to be repeated.

This is based on the traditional telling of the classic with a modern twist. Goldilocks learns to be nicer when the bears are nice to her and that is a good moral lesson for preschool age children. I had a great time finding out how the two boys thought they could be nicer.

I love this. I thought the story was over and then the sheriff came knocking. She ends up having to serve the hungry at a soup kitchen run by the bears for breaking and entering essentially. A little modernized version of Goldilox

Different the. Normal
