Former Marine Sean Wynn would prefer to mind his own business, prefer he didn’t see two guys stalking a young woman at a remote Wyoming rest area. But the last time he ignored something that didn’t look right, his wife wound up dead.As their intent becomes clear, Wynn races his Harley in pursuit. When the trio disappears, Wynn turns to the police, but his story is dismissed. He’s thrown into a small-town jail, at odds with the very cops who put him there.
Except one.
Deputy Samantha Miller has seen other women go missing, their fate not hard to guess; sex trafficking runs rampant at the Sturgis motorcycle rally, the world’s largest biker gathering, a short distance away.
With Miller’s help, Wynn infiltrates the shadowy fringes of bike culture. Ambushed, assaulted, and unsure of who to trust, Wynn battles bikers, traffickers, and even the cops as he tries to do for a stranger what he failed to do for his Save her.
I loved Night Rules by Keith Weber. The book has the perfect pace, keeping me from being able to put it down. It's well written with great characters and a interesting plot.
The main character, Sean Wynn, is a real hero, someone who cares about right and wrong and seeing justice served.
This book was excellent! Definitely worth reading!!
I originally read this book on a site for authors who want to help each other with free feedback, editing, etc. Most of the books on that site suck, but this one was really good. Really, really, good. The plot was good, characters realistic, writing was professional level, and the pace was way above average. I couldn't put the thing down to work on my own writing.
Then, the book came out on Amazon and I got to read the finished product. Spoiler alert--the book is now amazing. I love it!
The main character is perfectly written. He's a little broken and hurt, which appeals to my soft side, he's loyal and a hero at heart, which appeals to the part of me who loves knights in shining armor, and he's modest and kind, which appeals to every part of me. He's awesome. The isn't just one single main female character, but all the main ones are really great too. I love that Mr. Weber writes strong women who are right there, trying to save themselves and others around them, not simply waiting around to be rescued.
I read the final version of the book in less than 24 hours because I couldn't put it down. I'm really excited to know his second book is coming out in the next couple days because I only got to read the first couple of chapters of its rough draft, so most of the book is brand new to me.
Loved this book!! It should be on the shelves of my library. Heck, once it comes out in print, maybe I'll buy a copy and give it to the library. :)
Biker-Ex-Marine-Vigilante Sean Wynn is the kind of character you can’t help rooting for—smart, resourceful, and tough enough to handle himself when the situation turns dangerous, yet grounded enough to feel real. The story kicks off with a seemingly ordinary ride to Sturgis, but one sharp observation at a rest stop quickly spirals into a tense pursuit that draws him into the shadowy world of human trafficking. The mix of authentic detail and a well-researched backdrop gives the plot both urgency and credibility, raising the stakes beyond just another action tale.
The pacing is tight, the action keeps coming, and the suspense builds in a way that makes the book hard to put down. Sean’s combination of sharp instincts, military know-how, and his own personal code of justice gives him an edge that feels both believable and compelling. With well-drawn characters, a gripping setup, and a storyline that doesn’t let go, this is a thriller that delivers. Fans of hard-hitting heroes will find themselves hooked and eager for the next book in the series.
Move over Jack Reacher – we have a fresh, new hero in Sean Wynn, a tough-minded, Harley-riding, retired Marine. Years ago, Wynn failed to prevent the tragic death of his beloved wife. When he spots a kidnapping on a remote highway, he resolves to save the victim, but brutal kidnappers and callous police block his every turn. Wynn must forge an unlikely alliance to battle the abductors, outwit deputies, and rescue the victim from a life of slavery. No wonder this won the Grand Master Adventure Writer’s Finalist Award! Bravo!
A page-turning thriller with a reluctant hero who has his own rules for justice and isn't afraid of a fight. This well-written story has believable characters, excellent pacing, and suspense that will keep you on the edge of your seat. If you enjoy Jack Reacher, you're going to love Sean Wynn. Can't wait to read the next book in the series!
Pretty good book about a biker going to Sturgis for the annual party. He's always observant and notices two guys at a rest stop that follow a single female driver. He decides to follow them, but gets separated by road construction. He tries to catch up, but gets stopped for speeding. No more info, you need to read it to find out more. I enjoyed the book very much.
Well Keith Weber you rock I was looking for a good book I could get my teeth in to and I come across your book and I found it ! I have not read any of your books before but I will be reading more of them!
