I swear I saw a ghost, but it turned out to be the woman I should've fought harder for.
Tor
Everyone makes mistakes in life, and mine was letting "the one" go. We wanted different things and neither one of us would sacrifice at the time. Our demise wasn't for a lack of love. We loved each other so much. Unfortunately, life was pulling us in two different directions.
Then, fifteen years pass by and I'm putting in my coffee order like any other morning, and I see her.
She's aged like fine wine and looks more beautiful than ever. Still the bada** bit** she was back then.
I knew life was giving me a second chance to make things right, to be with the woman I never stopped thinking about… and I wasn't going to miss out on this opportunity.
There's only one problem—she didn't come alone.
Meghan came with a teenage girl. One with dark features and her mother's light eyes… who damn well looked like the perfect combination between us.
I didn't want to think this girl could be mine, but the mere sight of her proved it.
Why didn't Meghan tell me we had a daughter? I knew there must have been a damn good reason, but soon enough I found out why she stayed away.
I was going to make them pay for what they did to her, and no one would ever touch my woman ever again.
***Manic is the first book in the Raiders of Valhalla MC: New Blood by USA Today Bestselling Author, Elizabeth Knox. It's a dark motorcycle club, second chance romance. Please note, this is intended for mature audiences only.
Elizabeth Knox is a USA Today Bestselling romance author who specializes in romantic suspense, and dark romance. She’s well-known for her intense page-turning motorcycle clubs, and sinister dark mafia books.
While Elizabeth loves to write, she is an avid reader as well, who reads a mixture of genres. She lives on a farm with her husband in the northeastern United States with her rescue animals. When she isn’t working, you can find her horseback riding, riding ATVs, or out on the farm with her animals.
Thor is second generation of the Raiders of Valhalla MC and got the surprise of his life when his love from fifteen years ago comes back to town but she’s not alone. She also has someone who wants to do her harm. What Thor also doesn’t know is that Meghan has someone who she’s been hiding from all this time who also happens to be the club’s #1 enemy.
So many secrets kept Thor and Meghan apart but there is one person who is drawing them together again. This was an “edge of your seat” book that was a huge page turner for me. I loved the club’s dealings along with strong alpha men who will do anything to protect the women they love.
This book had me enthralled from the beginning. The story is well written, and I really enjoy the love and passion between Tor and Meghan, and how Tor immediately bonds with Tindra. There is an air of mystery with the club that keeps you excited to keep going. Definitely recommend.

Manic is Book 1 of the Raiders of Valhalla: New Blood series. It's a steamy, instalove, age-gap, secret pregnancy, single mom gets her hunky biker, second-chance darkish romance. Tor is the hunky president's son of the 2nd generation MC. Meghan is a sassy single mom and coffee shop owner whom he loved before they separated 15 years ago due to life. Now, she's back with their teenage daughter, Tindra, that he never knew about. I adored her character. This time, Tor's determined not to let her get away again. I loved this story for so many reasons. The way Tor just accepted Tindra and Meghan and how he and the MC accepted them instantly was amazing. Meghan was a force to be reckoned with and why she left, and what she endured was heartbreaking. I loved how she and Tor loved, supported, and protected each other and their daughter. I did feel for Tor, missing out on all that time.. but it has a happy ending. And their chemistry was insanely hot. This one was a roller-coaster of drama and danger but was so good. I can't wait to read more in the series.

Rekindling a romance after fifteen years is a tall order, and it’s hard to believe how quickly Tor and Meghan picked up right where they left off. Add a teenage daughter, who Tor never even knew existed, and you’ve got a recipe for some serious complications. The emotional weight of Tor missing out on so much of Tindra’s life hit me hard, especially when they bonded so effortlessly once they finally met. It’s impossible not to wonder how much heartbreak Tor must have endured, knowing he could never get those lost years back. Sure, Meghan had her reasons for running, and they were valid. But the protection she sought from the Raiders of Valhalla MC could have been there all along if only she’d trusted Tor back then. That said, her daughter, Tindra, stole the show for me. Mature beyond her years, whip-smart, openhearted, and full of love, Tindra was hands-down my favorite character. Watching her be embraced by the MC as the family she never had and finally getting the chance to meet the dad she’d always dreamed of was heartwarming. Honestly, the scenes with Tindra outshined everything else in the book. Oddly, Tor and Meghan themselves didn’t leave much of an impression. While it was nice to see them find their way back to each other, nothing about their story stood out as particularly memorable. There’s also some carryover from the original series, like the circumstances that made Meghan run, but it’s explained well enough that it’s not too confusing for new readers. Still, a lot of things stretched the boundaries of believability—and my patience. For one, if I had to read the phrase “It’s complicated” one more time, I might’ve screamed. And can we talk about how implausible some of the choices were? Take Meghan and Tor, for example: would you really want to have sex the morning after being beaten to within an inch of your life? I highly doubt the adrenaline of an orgasm was enough to mask the pain of bruised—or even cracked—ribs under the weight of a burly biker! Then there’s the villain, the Patriot—appropriately evil and clearly carried over from the original series. But how did the Raiders tolerate his presence in their territory for so long? And why didn’t they foresee the potential backlash after attacking his stronghold? So many unanswered questions made this feel less like a standalone and more like a middle chapter in an ongoing saga. And speaking of unresolved threads, even Tor and Meghan’s story is left hanging thanks to the looming threat of the Patriot. And can someone please explain the title Manic? I imagined it was going to be Tor’s road name, but there’s nothing remotely manic about this story—or him. Overall, there were moments I enjoyed, especially involving Tindra, but too much left me rolling my eyes or scratching my head. If you’re a fan of the original series, you might appreciate this spin-off more, but as a standalone, it left me wanting more cohesion, fewer clichés, and answers to the questions it raised. MANIC (Raiders of Valhalla MC: New Blood Book 1) held my attention from first page to last and I read it in one evening. It’s certainly action packed, a little dark as the MC trope is wont to be, but in no way was there anything to warrant a TW, in my mind a least. That being said, I love dark biker romances and in reality, I found this at the lighter end of the scale but still a compelling read all the same.
Tor and Meghan were great together and my heart broke for the many years they’d spent apart. Ms Knox wrote the homecoming of Meghan and her teenage daughter beautifully as they literally crashed back into Tor's life at the same time that the Valhalla MC had some massive issues happening around them. MANIC is the first book that I have read from this author, but I have a feeling she will be having a heavy main plot thread happening throughout the series as each couple faces challenges and watershed moments that could make or break them. She has laid the foundations where a local drug kingpin is causing havoc and threatening the lives and safety of the MC and local individuals so I will continue to be looking forward to each release.
Tor was everything that I love in a MMC. His patience and acceptance of Meghan's return quite frankly veered into the realms of unicorn-isms and could either be seen as unbelievable, or an extremely marvellous illustration of his alpha-male tendencies in self-control. His love for his girls radiated from the pages and the chemistry between him and Meghan was on point. The man radiated a staunch sexiness that had me envisioning a modern-day heavily tattooed long-haired Harley riding Viking 🤔😍or was that just me and my filthy mind???
Meghan’s background was terrible but she showed a strength that shone through in the personality of her daughter and the loyalty of her friends. What I loved best was her determination to defend her girl, her family and her territory, and not to crumble under pressure. Her throwdown on a ‘club-girl' who’d got all up in her grill while being overly handsy on her man was great and the chick-fight scene was BRILLIANT!!! And, it absolutely cemented my belief in Meghan's status as one of the top ol' ladies of the MC and worthy as belonging to The President's son.
Yep, MANIC was a great read that I couldn't put down, but did leave me with more than a few questions and a need for more detail in some areas to settle the flow of it all in my mind. Even so, I still reckon that MC romance lovers, especially those like myself who love second chances, should be checking it out and join me in anticipating the release of further books in the Raiders of Valhalla: New Blood series. 4-MC-loving-Stars🖤💀💙
Rating: 5 outta 5 stolen years and second-chance sucker punches Okay… whew. Y’all, this one hit me square in the soul and then kicked me in the ovaries in the best possible way. Let me set the scene: There I was, cozy in my little reader bubble, expecting the usual grit and growl of an MC romance. What I didn’t expect? A full-blown emotional freight train called Tor. This man… this man... he rolls up, tattoos and all, casually ordering his morning coffee like fate wasn’t about to backhand him with fifteen years of regrets and a teen girl with his damn eyes. And Meghan? SHE’S. THAT. CHICK. Still fierce, still standing, still carrying the weight of a decision that split her heart down the middle. I felt her—hard. When she walked back into Tor’s orbit with their daughter in tow, you better believe I was already ten kinds of feral, clutching my Kindle and muttering, “Ohhh, he better grovel.” And he does, y’all. But Tor doesn’t just grovel—he claims. He goes full MC president’s son, zero chill, alpha-rage with a heart full of vengeance. And the way he looks at Meghan? Like she hung the damn moon and he’d burn Valhalla to ashes for dimming her light even once. This isn’t just a second chance—it’s a reckoning. Here’s what made me absolutely unhinged in love with this book: 🔥 That electric “I never stopped loving you” tension 👶 The secret baby twist? Gut-punch city. 💥 Meghan’s strength and softness all rolled into one battle-scarred queen 🏍️ The MC vibe: dirty, loyal, dangerous, and full of code 💔 The heartbreak Tor wears like a second skin 🖤 That overprotective vengeance when he finds out what she’s been through? I was DONE. This book gave me all the fire I crave in a dark MC romance—rough edges, brutal honesty, found family, revenge, and the kind of love that doesn't ask for permission… it demands it. Personal confession? By the time Tor whispered that he wasn’t letting Meghan go again—not now, not ever—I was standing up clapping like it was a damn Netflix finale. That man saw his shot and took it, with all the heat, heartbreak, and hoarse devotion only a former club prince turned determined dad could deliver. This was my kind of messy, powerful, scorch-your-soul kind of story. If you're into alpha protectors with old wounds, badass heroines who don't back down, and love that drips with both danger and devotion—Manic is your next obsession. Now excuse me while I hunt down Book 2 like it's my job. Rebel out. 🖤.
MANIC is the first instalment in Elizabeth Knox’s contemporary, adult RAIDERS OF VALHALLA MC: NEW BLOOD MC romance series, set in the Raiders of Valhalla MC world co-authored by Elizabeth Knox and EC Land. This is thirty-four year old Torsten ‘Tor’, son of RAV president Runes, and single mother/ coffee shop owner Meghan’s story line.
NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Tor and Meghan) MANIC follows the rebuilding relationship between Tor and Meghan. Approximately fifteen years earlier Meghan nearly lost her life, and in the aftermath walked away from the man that she loved. Fast forward to present day, Meghan’s past has returned, determined to lay claim to our story line heroin. Desperate, Meghan returns to the man that she loved, the man who fathered her child close to fifteen years earlier, a man who is unaware of the existence of his only daughter. Under the protection of the Raiders of Valhalla MC, Megan and her daughter Tindra find the family they had always wanted but the past refuses to let go, taking aim at everyone involved.
The world building focuses on the rekindling relationship between Tor and Meghan; the reintegration of Meghan into the Raiders of Valhalla MC; and the potential war on the horizon when a new drug and supplier is aimed at POC and those considered less than desirable.
The relationship between Meghan and Tor is one of second chance; a rekindling romance between two people destroyed by one man’s madness, obsession and betrayal but Meghan’s return comes with a secret from the past, a secret Tor knew nothing about. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
The energetic secondary and supporting characters include most of the story line couples and MC members first introduced in the original Raiders of Valhalla MC series. We are introduced to Tor and Meghan’s daughter Tindra, Rio and Flora, and the return of The Patriot.
MANIC is a story of secrets and lies, betrayal and vengeance; power and control, dysfunctional family dynamics, relationships, forgiveness and love. The premise is dramatic, gritty and tragic; the romance is fated; the characters are dynamic and determined.

This contemporary dark MC second chance age-gap romance is page-turning with exceptional world-building that is engulfed by darkness, danger, violence, and grit, and characters that are dark, exude power, alpha male protector, captivating, dangerous, violent, and realistic. Their journey is enthralling with Manic, the President's son, explicit romance that is consumed by steamy, sizzling passion, lust, desire, and spice with all the feelings to leave readers breathless and begging for more, deception, drama, heartfelt emotions, a secret baby, suspense that will leave readers on the edge of their seats, and more. I recommend reading this book by an extraordinary author who knows how to captivate her readers' hearts and attention with manic and an explicit dark MC romance that is sure to transport readers into a world that is wildly dangerous and unforgettable.

This series started with a bang, and I absolutely loved it!! I was instantly sucked into the world of the Raiders of Valhalla, and I couldn't put it down! These characters were amazing. The storyline was exciting and kept me hooked and fast-paced enough to never get boring nor seem to be rushed either.
Meghan is our FMC. She grew up in a community life led by a controlling father. Her teenage love for Tor never let her stop her from living life, though. But when things really get out of hand and she finally turns eighteen, she runs, thinking that it's the best to not only keep her safe but Tor safe. Fifteen years has passed tired of being on the run and always being found, Meghan returns home to find Tor for the protection of the club. But it's not just her protection she is looking for, it's also for their daughter.
Read along for a wild ride to see how Tor reacts to seeing Meghan again after fifteen years. The shock of having a daughter. The betrayal and lies and secrets of other members in the club. Found out when the biggest enemy the club is currently going after is someone very, very close to Meghan. We also get to see a new prospect getting patched in only to be drowned in guilt and depression. Can't wait for his story.
This book does end with a soft cliffhanger. The main plot of the story will continue in the next book, but we will see it come with a new couples prespective.
"Maniac" is a captivating second-chance romance novel. The sense of family within the Valhalla motorcycle club is reminiscent of the camaraderie found in the MC books by Freya Barker and Karen Renee.
The story features a resilient and independent female main character, Meghan, who, despite her emotional wounds, continues to persevere. The male main character, Tor, is loving and would do anything for her. Their chemistry is undeniable.
Meghan returns to Valhalla, seeking safety from the fear that has resurfaced in her life. The story beautifully portrays their journey as they work to rebuild their trust and love for each other.
Tor is part of the second generation of the Valhalla MC. Although I haven't read the author's other books, I am excited to explore the first generation of the Raiders. (also in Kindle Unlimited...)
The upcoming books in this series are scheduled for release in the next few months, so I plan to catch up on the first generation's story in the meantime. I’m eagerly awaiting the next book, as the set-up for it seems to be occurring in the last chapters of this book, leaving an underlying theme open. It’s not a cliffhanger for this book, but a linking thread.
I'm thrilled to have discovered a new author and look forward to reading more of her work. Well worth the effort.
A great start to what I am convinced is going to be an epic series. Tor and Meagan find each other again after fifteen years. Meagan under the fear of her father, the evil Patriot, finding her and cause mayhem and destruction to her loved ones in the MC – especially Tor – decided it was best to run away from Tor and start a life in Atlanta, even if she never stopped loving him. (Here I must add that there is a short prequel novella called “Mercy” exploring their initial romance, when younger, if you are interested in finding out how everything started). However, when she left, she had taken a secret with her; she was pregnant. The only one within the MC that knew was her best friend Starla. So, Meagan spends fifteen years away, raising her daughter, Tindra, alone, until danger finds her again and she has no choice but to return to Tallahasee seeking protection and refugee there. How will Tor react seeing her again, but most importantly, when he finds out about his precious daughter that was kept away from him for all these years? What will the MC do when they find out why, or more accurately from whom, she ran away? Can the flame of love that never truly faded be reignited to a scorching inferno? I couldn’t stop reading till the very end! 4 stars.

Manic is the first story in the Raiders of Valhalla MC: New Blood series. Manic is the journey of Meghan and Tor who I absolutely loved getting to know as the main characters. I absolutely enjoyed reading their fantastic story and getting to see their story unfold throughout the book. Manic is fantastically written, exceptionally balanced and marvelously executed by Elizabeth Knox. Elizabeth Knox continues to create phenomenal romances and she continues to prove what a brilliant author she is with each book that I have read by her so far. The characters are well developed and beautifully executed throughout the story. The chemistry between Meghan and Tor is undeniably irresistible to the point where neither one of them could no longer ignore the feelings they felt for each other. My heart completely broke for what happened to one of the other characters in this book, Flora and Rio. I’m not going to reveal what happens because I don’t want to ruin it for other readers. I’m looking forward to see what will come next in the second book of this series. I would most definitely HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading MC romances.

It’s horrible when your own MC leader will use you as a breeder. Meghan ran away from the horror of this life. Yet around every corner danger lurks. How will Tor save her?
Overall, MC life isn’t for all. But one thing is for certain - Family. Abuse, crime, vengeance, territorial, insane leader’s & respected MC’s.
If you enjoy MC reads, Elizabeth is a Queen within this field. There are a few Charters within the MC - for those who have kept up with the series, you will understand. For new readers, Charters is another way of describing extensions of the MC territories. Confusing, apologies for new readers. Here, it’s The Valhalla MC. They all centre in Family - each member is classed as. On the side though - illegal dealings to survive, buts thats part of MC.
Back to Manic. Tor & Meghan’s story needed telling. It wasn’t a simple love story, there were circumstances to Meghan hiding to stay safe.
*danger/survival mostly, but why?
Thought it may have been darker as per warning entry. Trigger warnings, so do be careful/aware. Elizabeth clearly states this within each read as personal notes.
Try & read in order to understand characters. This too is mentioned.
Tor & Meghan fell in love years ago but couldn't make it work. Tor was born into the Raiders of Vahala and knew he was destined to lead. Meghan was a club girl who was attacked by another club girl resulting in her being in a coma. Tor was there when she woke and thus their story began. Meghan was still a bit unsure of staying in the MC life but when confronted by her father and knowing that Tor lived and breathed the club, she ran. Fifteen years have passed, and Meghan has made a life for herself and her daughter but once again, her father finds her and threatens her and her daughter, so Meghan runs back to Tor and the MC. Their love is still strong, and they try to make it work again but with all the outside threats, will they be strong enough to last this time? This book is a great read with danger, suspense, homecoming, family, and much more. Yes, Tor & Meghan got their HEA, but it was a hard-fought battle. There are still evil forces outside the club trying to bring the Raiders down so I can't wait for the next book in this series. Heed the trigger warnings!.

They were everything 14 years ago, but things beyond their control pulled them apart. Now one of those goes from the past has come back to haunt her and she takes her daughter to the only place she can think she’ll be safe. The problem is he doesn’t know he has a daughter. She has to come clean about all of the ghosts of the past. He has been busy in the club and he let her go those years ago because he had obligations to the MC. But he has regretted it ever since and so when she shows back up with their daughter, he is determined to keep his family together. This is the first story of a new MC series. There is rival drama that goes through the story and is only partially resolved feeding into the next story. Their resolve to get their happily ever after plays out on the page in this story. The character development was good and you get a strong sense of not only the main but the other members of the MC as well. I was a little bit confused by some of the north language and traditions that seem to be utilized not understanding if this is a regional thing or specific to this MC.

Fighting an enemy that is trying to take over their territory, Tor and his brothers are trying to figure out how to bring The Patriot down and make their city and territory safe again. Tor and his brothers are tired of the destruction, death, and lives that are being destroyed by the man that has been tormenting them for years. No one knows who he is or where to find him.
Meghan left her old life behind to save herself and then her past found her and brought that danger back into her life. Now she's headed back home to see if she can find safety and protection by the one man that meant everything to her fifteen years ago, but she's not sure he or his brothers or their family will welcome her back home. She's bringing secrets and danger to their doorstep, exactly why she left the first time.
I loved these characters and the story was page turning action and wonderful characters. I'm looking forward to more of the Raiders of Valhalla: New Blood to come and the great characters I met in this first book.
She ran once but she will never run from him again
Manic is the first book in the Raiders of Valhalla MC: New Blood series. This second chance story is a thrill ride that takes on some darker edges. Meghan and Tor had been together when they were teenagers and they both were so in love. They thought they would be together forever. But there were other plans in the works and Meghan fled. Now she is back home after being away for fifteen years, but she is not alone. When Tor spots her he knows he has to take this chance to get her back. But what will happen when he finds out the truth about all those years ago and also the Meghan kept the fact she was pregnant from him all these years. My money is on him getting vengeance on those that wronged them and then making sure that Meghan never runs from him again. Great first book in the new series. As with all of the author's series this one will also have interconnected stories and characters. I am definitely ready to read the next book to find out what happens next for this MC.
This was an emotional and captivating second chance romance for Tor and Meghan. They haven’t seen each other for fifteen years, Tor is shocked when he sees Meghan back in their hometown and their chemistry is still sizzling hot! Even more surprising when a young girl named Tindra called her Mom, and she looked like a mix of her mother and him! Meghan eventually tells Tor that Tindra is his daughter and the reason she left fifteen years ago was because of her father, the reason she came back to their home town was her father found her and beat her so badly, she knew that she had to go to Tor and his protection and the protection of the MC for both her and Tindra because her father will find her again! The storyline is filled with danger, secrets, guilt, jealousy, romance, spice, tragedy and love. I was hooked from the first page until the last and read it all in one sitting. I received an advanced reader’s copy of this book via BookSprout and I am writing this review voluntarily
Meghan is living in Atlanta with her almost 15 year old daughter Tindra. Meghan has been hiding from her father for 15 years. As Meghan is coming back from the florist she hears a voice she will never forget. Her father is known as The Patriot and he made her life horrible growing up. Meghan decides to go back to Tallahassee with Tindra. Tor is the son of the President of the Raiders of Valhalla MC. Tor and Meghan were in a relationship before she left. Now Meghan has to tell Tor about his daughter. Meghan is still in love with Tor and he is still in love with her. Will Tor be excited to have Meghan back? How will Tor react to having a teenage daughter? Will the patriot show up in Tallahassee to get Meghan and Tindra? Will Tor, Meghan and Tindra become a family? Will Tor and Meghan get a second chance at love. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book via Booksprout.
Meghan left Tor and Tallahassee not because she did not love him but to run from her father, Patriot. Fifteen years later she has made a life for her and their daughter only to be found by Patriot. She knows she has to back to Tallahassee, she knows Tor and his club will keep them safe. Now all she has to do is tell him about the daughter he never knew he had.
Tor knew he made a mistake letting Meghan go but they both were young but he never expected her to have given him a child she never told him about. He not only wants a second chance with the only woman he has ever loved but a chance to know his daughter.
Tor is the most understand man, how he did not loose it on Meghan I have no idea. There is a lot he does not know about Meghan and she is going to have to come clean but it will be hard. This may be triggering for some due past event and abuse suffered by the main character.

Manic by Elizabeth Knox is a gripping, emotional, and darkly passionate second-chance romance that hits hard from the very first page. Tor and Meghan’s story is raw and real—two souls torn apart by circumstance, only to collide again years later with unfinished business and buried secrets. The emotional tension is palpable, especially as Tor discovers the truth about the daughter he never knew. Knox captures the gritty, dangerous world of the MC while weaving in a deep, redemptive love story that’s impossible to forget. Tor’s blend of fury, heartbreak, and devotion makes him an unforgettable alpha, and Meghan’s strength and vulnerability balance him perfectly. Manic is a story of redemption, revenge, and a love that refuses to die.
This is a great continuation of the series and the characters worked really well with each other. This also brought in some old favorites to help with the trouble that the club is going thur. The main characters were together , but she got scared and ran because of her father, but didn’t tell Tor that she was pregnant before she left. When her father catches up to her again she knows it’s time to go home and face her past and the man she never stopped loving, and also introduce their daughter to her father and family. It turns out that her father is the one the club has been trying to find and take out, she is all for it. Tor is gobsmacked when he finds out he has a daughter and it turns his life upside down. Their love can survive anything and gets better and stronger as each day comes along.
Well this was an exciting way to start a new next generation series. Tor was absolutely thrilling and held so many startling revelations. Meghan and Tor were sweethearts 15 years ago but Meghan left to build a new life only she was carrying a huge secret that Tor did not know about. When Meghan returns because he life is in danger she finally has to reveal the whole truth about her life and the surprising secret she has kept from Tor. Danger follows Meghan and is on her doorstep and Tor vows to keep her safe only we know that when it comes to the Raider of Valhalla MC nothing is as it seems. This book had me on the edge of my seat with the drama and I powered through in no time. I loved this story so much and I am excited for the next book and the drama it promises to deliver.

MANIC hooked me from page one and I devoured it in one sitting. I love dark biker romances, and while this one was a bit lighter than expected, it still delivered everything I wanted—action, emotion, and a second-chance romance that hit me in the heart.
Tor was a total dream—loyal, patient, and sexy as hell (hello, modern-day Viking vibes 😍). Meghan was strong, protective, and someone I rooted for the whole way. Their chemistry was on fire, and her epic takedown of a mouthy club girl? Pure gold.
I hadn’t read anything by K.V. Knox before, but I’m in now. The setup for the series is solid—danger brewing, deep MC ties, and a found family vibe that gave me all the feels. Definitely checking out the first-gen books while I wait for the next one!
If you're into MC romances with heart, heat, and badass heroines, give this one a shot.
I read the first Raiders of Valhalla series and loved it, and these new books are just as great, and the series starts with a bang!! The Manic book tells the story of Thor and Meghann, she is the one that got away, or better said the one he let go. But the feelings have never died, and after 15 years apart, they find each other. Thor is now the president of the MC, she is a single mother, coffee shop owner, sassy as you can get, but with a huge secret... her teenage daughter is also Thor's daughter. So you can only imagine, how he becomes obsessed and attached to them and wanting to be a family. But there are forces that have kept them apart, and you know there is going to be drama, suspense, hot scenes, tender moments. A great start for this series!!.

Tor and Meghan’s story was amazing. These two have been tap dancing around each other for a while and now she’s awake from her coma and trying to regain her life they decide to give it a go that is until her father finds her and she thinks running will solve her problems, bu it never does and leaving Tor was the hardest thing to do especially with the secret she takes with her. Now 15 years later she’s back needing protection from her father and Tor and the club is the only way. The chemistry and love is still there between them as well as the secret she kept from Tor all these years. Will he be able to forgive her and start to make. make a life together or will her father tear her family apart? Great read loving this series.
Loved the storyline and the characters. The writing was so expertly put, that you kept turning the pages for more. Meghan has been on the run for fifteen years because of her father, but she never forgot the father to her daughter Tor. Feeling exhausted and in need of help and safety, she goes back to her hometown. Meeting Tor again was difficult and complicated as their are things that Meghan needs to explain as to why she left and the danger she is still in. She wants to protect her daughter and the only way she knows how is to be with Tor. It sis the first time I have read from this author and am looking forward to reading book 2.

This was an engaging and emotional second chance romance for Tor and Meghan. These two have been apart for fifteen years so they're more than due for a happy ending. However, secrets, lies, danger and drama swirl around them like nobody's business... I loved seeing Tor meet his daughter and how she took to having her father in her life. That made me smile and I'm glad they got this chance to be a family. Meghan had so much weight of danger hanging over her that I rooted hard for her to feel safe again. The author did a fab job with world building, character development and an engaging plot to keep me glued to my reader. It's gritty and tragic but it's also filled with so much love. I'm looking forward to the next book :D
