It's all come full circle now, and death is a present shadow just waiting to make me its bride. They took the man I loved and destroyed him, a sin so unforgivable that must be met with bloodshed. I no longer seek justice or even vengeance; all I desire now is for the world to burn to ash at my feet while I watch.
I am the Unholy Ghost, and this will be the Brotherhood's end.
This is the last book in the Brotherhood of the Sacrament series. You must read Be My Sinner and Be My Sacrifice to understand this one.
This series did NOT come to play. From page one, it grabbed me by the soul, threw me into emotional traffic, and refused to let me breathe. There are no breaks. No pauses. No “I’ll finish this tomorrow.” Your life is no longer your own—you belong to these books now.
You will scream. You will rage. You will cry. You will sit there questioning every life choice that led you to this series…and still turn the page because you NEED to know what happens next.
A true 10/10. Painful. Beautiful. Chaotic. Life-ruining in the best way.
And A.L. Maruga…Don’t think I forgot what you did to my Sammy. We’re gonna have words. 😠🔥
*Why Choose *Contemporary *Multi-PoV *Religious Base *Dark/Triggers *Revenge Plot *Gothic Themes *Enemies to Lovers *Stalker Romance *Building harem (3) *inc MM *3/3 Holy Smokes Honestly the amount of times I asked myself what more could these go through whilst reading this book was madness! There’s torture, betrayal, mystery, and of course heartbreak for the four of them, - the biggest question was who could be trusted?! I felt it was particularly tough on the MMCs in this one 😢 but they have cores of steel and a real bond of strength between them that allows them to see their journey through ⛓️💪 thrown in between the harrowing scenes was absolutely pure filthy spice 🔥 the balance between the different elements of this book (the macabre vs the revenge vs the heat) has good flow and pace! I am so glad these got a HEA but yikes have these lot fought for it - very well deserved! 🥰
It was just another roller coaster of a story 🥵 Do we get Sammy back in one piece? ✔️ and debatable 💔 Will they find Noah and take their revenge? ✔️ and debatable ⚰️ Do they bring the Sacrament down? What of her father?
This last book really does drag us through it all, and it would be unfair of me and to the author to even try to give you any insight.
Suffice to say it was an amazing conclusion to the whole series, the spice 👌, the violence 🩸, the heartache 💔, Dinah the bada$$ and the guys 💋 I shall miss them all 🥰
Once again another amazing dark and depraved read from our lovely AL Maruga.
This book literally had me saying wtf for a good portion of the book! Wether I was saying out of anger or because I was saying it due to the down right dirtiness happening between these characters. They make me question my sanity in the best way.
This was so beyond dark and so spicy oofta. For sure check those triggers for this one if you need to.
It was such a good read and I am happy with how it all came together even though I was mad for a chunk of it lol. I’m sad to see these characters go but happy they got their HEA.
This was amazing, a brilliant and fantastically written end to a wonderful story. The action doesn’t stop, the spice is at least at ghost chilli levels and so many moments of ‘who do you trust?’ Which so many treacherous people around Dinah, she can only trust Abe and Zeke, but do they trust her? Not all is as it seems for all of them. And as for Sammy, her protector and first love, well you’ll need to read it to find out.
What an epic final installment to a wonderful trilogy. We pick up right at the end of book two, which left the MCs bruised, battered, and bleeding - both figuratively and literally.
A beautiful blend of humor, love, betrayal, corruption, macabre murders, and a dash of blasphemy.
A real heart thumper for sure. Whether that be from anticipation of what comes next, shock at what is happening, anger at the characters, or -ahem- the spice… These folks do have the mouth of the devil on them and sure know how to use it. 😅
The relationship and found family dynamics between the MCs was a rollercoaster, so many ups and downs. But the more ups and downs we go through the more invested you become. The FEELS his series gives you!!
The series does end with a MUCH deserved HEA, these characters were put through the gauntlet and came out victorious.
This last book was a truly insane rollercoaster. Filled with moments I hated the main characters ( Sammy, I'm looking at you) and other times things were so insane I couldn't believe it. The ringer these characters were put through... The spice was blistering hot. The heartfelt emotions, tugged at my heart strings and the ending was... It's always hard to say goodbye to characters you have grown to love. I am now in mourning. Please do not disturb.
So much fighting. Still gives extreme handmaids tail thriller but easy to read and be entertained. one major ick: Abe’s Nickname “berserker” so cringe …ew
The conclusion to this series was nothing but spectacular. From what we’ve come to expect from this dire dystopia that A L Mauga has created there was never going to be smooth sailing for Dinah and her depraved men. Scarred, insane and striving to stay alive this finale twists and turns, revealing those that hide in the shadows and the monsters in their midst. Never lacking on her dark blend of spice either, this story is a perfect blend of angst, heartbreak, action and the ‘will they won’t they’ of the groups survival.
My freakin’ HEART omg. From beginning to end youre in the edge of your seat, no clue what’s about to happen next, and your heart is in your stomach. AL tears you to pieces just to put you back together again. Sammy, my sweet sweet Sammy. That poor guy goes through ittttt. And Zeke & Abe?! Goodness. Even Dinah goes through hėll and back. This HEA is a rough ride to get to but everything is wrapped up nicely and you’ll be shocked with the biggest twist coming. Fantastic series.
What did I just read? A.L. Maruga took me on an emotional rollercoaster with this one! She said in the beginning of this book she was going to take our depraved dark hearts and make us squirm with her twists and turns and she did exactly that. Just when you thought you knew who you could trust and their motivations, Ms. Maruga dropped a bombshell and turned everything upside down.
This book and series has everything that I love in a dark romance. Action, suspense, thrills, unhinged and pitch-black MMC’s, a fierce FMC who is just as unhinged as her men and spice that will make you blush. Throw in a dystopian setting, a religious cult and make it a why choose? Yes, please – I will devour every single word!
There were so many things I loved about this book. Dinah is probably one of the most badass FMC’s I have read in a long time. The horrors she has suffered in her role of a Sacred Daughter and the future she knows is waiting for her, turn her into a women set on seeking vengeance for the wrongs that were done to her and her family. With the help of Sammy, her fierce protector, she becomes a force to be reckoned with. She has a take-no-prisoners attitude and won’t bend to anyone, not even the three men she loves – unless it’s between the sheets. Her love for Sammy, Zeke and Abe is evident in everything she does. She will protect them, even if it means the end of her own life.
Sammy, Zeke and Abe are an unlikely trio. Each man is obsessed with Dinah and completely possessive of her. Sammy is Dinah’s home. Abe is her berserker. Zeke is her Prince Charming. Each man brings something different to this foursome but the thing that binds them all together is their love and adoration for her. They will literally burn down the world to protect her. The banter between these men had me chuckling at times.
My heart broke for Sammy. He went to hell and back with this one. There were moments I didn’t think there would be any coming back for him, but I was so happy he did.
I can’t say enough good things about this series or this author. The world building is top-notch. The character development is phenomenal. Maruga’s writing style is dark and gritty. She has a way of bringing her characters to life and makes you fall in love with them, even the ones you think can’t be redeemed. She has become one of my one-click authors. I was sad to leave this world, but I did a happy dance to learn Nael is getting his own book and this foursome will make an appearance.
Thank you to A.L. Maruga and Book Sirens for the advanced reader opportunity. This is my honest opinion for this book and I am leaving my review voluntarily.
This is the final book of the series and by god, what a series! A definite must-read
I have loved every single one of them. You feel for all the women in this story, and you see how their identity has effectively been taken away. They are only there to serve the men and breed. The Brotherhood, who are supposed to uphold these laws, has been the worst sinner of them all.
Dinah, a high-ranking sister, eventually takes matters into her own hands when her mother takes her own life. She will seek vengeance and become the 'Unholy Ghost', killing the founding fathers and their bloodline, freeing the women who they have abused over the years.
In the 3rd book, Dinah 'The Sinner' eventually has Sammy 'The Protector' back but he is not the same person. The brainwashing and the torture that he has endured by Noah and his minions have left him mentally and physically in a bad way. Will Dinah have her soulmate return to her, or is he too far gone and the only thing is to kill him so he can no longer be a threat to anyone?
Abe, ' The Liar,' and Zeke, 'The Forsaker,' her husband, are at her side to ensure she knows she is loved and not alone. They are helping the rebels but are consumed with finding Noah and finding her nephew.
The story shows how Abe and Zeke, high-ranking Princes of the Brotherhood, have completely transformed from how they used to be, thanks to their love for Dinah. They never bought into the Brotherhood premise, but they enjoyed the entitlement to their status. But Dinah knows she still has her Berserker and her conceited, arrogant husband by her side, the men she has always loved.
Dinah and the men are wary of who they can trust within the rebels. Is there a mole or moles, warning the remaining Brotherhood of raids that are taking place? They can only trust each other, and have each other's back. All Dinah wants is a quiet life with her men, living their lives their way. Will she ever get her dream or will it all be ripped from her while trying to take down The Brotherhood?

Okay. Deep breath. Be My Salvation is the explosive, unhinged, blood-soaked finale we’ve been waiting for—and it did not hold back. If you’ve made it through Be My Sinner and Be My Sacrifice, first of all: congrats, you’re emotionally resilient. Second: prepare yourself. Because this book? It’s war. Literal and emotional.
The vibes are immaculate in the most twisted way. It’s dark, it’s raw, it’s filthy (like, filthy), and it’s got that signature Maruga mix of violence, betrayal, heartbreak, and just enough humour to make you snort in between scenes of absolute chaos. I lost count of how many times I said “WTF” out loud—sometimes from sheer rage, sometimes from how dirty things got between the characters (I questioned my own morals more than once, not gonna lie).
And the Unholy Ghost speech?? Chills. Actual chills. That moment set the tone: this isn’t about justice anymore—it’s about destruction. And I was so here for it. The emotional toll was real, especially on the MMCs. You feel their pain, their confusion, their rage. No one is safe, and trust? Basically nonexistent.
I laughed, I yelled, I nearly threw my Kindle (again), and yet, through all the madness, A.L. Maruga gave us a conclusion that worked. It was messy. It was heartbreaking. It was everything it needed to be. And yes—I’m still sad to say goodbye to these deeply damaged, deliciously depraved characters. But what a ride it’s been.
A beautiful cocktail of humour, heartbreak, corruption, love, and violence—this book (and this series!) is not for the faint of heart. But if you like your romance dark, spicy, and a little bit unhinged, Be My Salvation will give you everything you crave and more.
Trigger warnings galore, so please check them before diving in! But for those of us who made it to the end? What a wickedly satisfying finish.

This last book was every bit as good as the previous two books. If you can't handle the darkness and depravity, stay in the light. This book had a plot twist that left me wondering what the…
These characters were true to form until the very end. The story line was so well written and the characters, even though they were unhinged to the nth degree, you can't help but fall into their world. Boy did I feel for Sammy and everything he went through. The breaking of his body and mind. Dinah, Zeke and Gabe never gave up on him. Of course, there will be h*** to pay for what was done to him, along with all of the other revenge to be had. Bloodshed and mayhem ensue, but there is a bigger purpose to it all. Our twisted group of 4 lay waste to all that is evil and how fun it was for them to watch it all burn.
I also loved the dynamic of the four characters and to see their relationships develop even further. It may have taken one of them longer to get there, but in the end, they made it work. Sometimes I wondered who was keeping who in line? Oh, who am I kidding, no one was kept in line. Zeke tried to keep Abe and Dinah focused on occasion, but that never worked. Even though they are all dark souls, you can really see, the love they have for each other, how they're willing to protect and help each other no matter the cost. True family all the way to the end.

What did I just read? A.L. Maruga had me on an emotional rollercoaster reading this one! Just when you think you know, she drops the bomb and turns everything upside down and round and round you go. Dinah has suffered so much as a Sacred Daughter and will continue to in the future she knows is waiting for her. Until she turns herself into the Unholy Ghost seeking vengeance for the wrongs that were done to her and her family. She won’t bend to anyone, not even the three alpha men she loves. Her love for Sammy, Zeke and Abe is felt in everything she does and will protect them at all cost, even if it means ending her own life. Each one brings something different to their foursome. They will literally burn down the world to protect her. And the banter between these men will have you in a fit of giggles. Now, my heart broke for Sammy with this book. He went through hell and back at the hands of the enemy. There were moments I cried and wasnt sure there would be any coming back for him. But our guy pulled through with love form each and everyone of them. A.L.'s writing is dark and depraved, but I am here for it. She has become one of my one-click authors and this series had me loving the darkness a story can bring even more. I am sad to see the series end, but I know she will have more for us in the future. *Please check all TW and begin with the first book in the series*
What a powerful ending!! We start the last book in the Brotherhood of the Sacrament series finding all the characters essentially broken and bleeding. The journey this book takes you on is dark, intense, and heartbreaking, but OMG it is beyond worth it!
If you love all the elements of a truly dark romance with the devastating ride the characters ultimately prevail from, this series is for you! It's dark, depraved, and filled with so many secrets. Bonus! There is NO skimping on the spice either!
Found family Is my favorite. The four main characters that were in this series are the epitome of that trope. No matter what they were put through, or how they were pulled apart, they eventually were able to flourish in their love. A love that I felt to the depths of my soul through A.L. Maruga's written words. All of the heart pounding madness she put my beautiful broken boys, and the strong willed resilient Dinah through (yes, I'm squinting my eyes at you A.L.) was worth every second in the end.
I'll say this over, and over to anyone who will listen. Nobody does dark romance like A.L. Maruga. I have never read a book she has written I haven't loved. This series is top tier!
Wow, wow, wow, woooooooow, just wow. I so wish I could give this more than 5 stars because my word does it deserve it. I went back and re-read the first two books before this, and I'm so glad that I did. I devoured Be My Salvation! It took me on such a rollercoster of emotions...it felt like my heart was breaking at points, but my, are you put back together by the end. It is written absolutely amazingly, and you are pulled into their world so effortlessly. And let's talk about the absolute depravity and debauchery we are, oh so luckily subjected to....phew....utter filth but holy hell did I love it! Most books that are HEAVY on the smut tend to have no real storyline, but this one seems to have it on every other page, but the story is still a brilliant and well thought out one. I honestly feel like I need to go and wash my eyes at some of the stuff I read and cleanse my soul because of how much I loved it! It's soo sad that this is the end for now....but wow, what a journey it was. Would definitely recommend it if you have a strong stomach. Make sure to check the warnings....one of my all time favourite books and certainly one of my favourite series' to date.
I enjoyed this but not quite as much as the other two books in the series. There were parts that I liked such as how Sammy's trauma was handled and that it wasn't fixed overnight, finally getting to see Dinah and her guys working together as a unit and every time Zeke pulled the "my wife" card. However, although they were present for some pretty brutal scenes in the book, I did feel the taking down of the Brotherhood was a little rushed after all the build up over three books . That being said, the final showdown was thrilling to read and it did feel like there was actual stakes for all the characters involved.
I would have loved longer at the end with the characters settling into their final dynamic after all they endured however it was a satisfying conclusion to the series overall.

My interpretation of the star system; 3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again 4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series 5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read
Oh my dogs! ..such a perfect ending for this series...I was gonna riot if they didn't get their happy ever after. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily
The pain the torture the torment that these characters went through was heartbreaking... Sammy...the innocent 😭😭💔
This whole series gives off very "Handmaids tale" vibes and with what's going on in the world at the moment the timing is incredible...always resist always fight back and they do...they fight with everything and are willing to sacrifice themselves for each other. These characters had an incredible amount of depth and nuance it has been hard leaving them behind.
So much trauma ...so much delicious smut...incredible amounts of violence just all blended in to be the best smorgasbord of revenge.
Please definitely check your trigger warnings...and you must read this trilogy in order

Ok, so I could not wait to get my hands on this book after the cliff hanger from book 2!
And to say it is an emotional rollercoaster ride is an understatement!
Oh what a ride. All three books have you on edge but the conclusion to Dinah's story has you guessing throughout the entire book. I could not put it down and read it until the wee hours of the morning until I finished.
How does Dinah reunite with her three men? Does Sammy survive in the hands of Noah?
Not wanting to rule the new revolution, DInah finds everyone is behind her 100% and want to wash their world of the Brotherhood and it's followers.
Dinah only has her sights set on three men who betrayed her, and getting the loves of her life back to her.
You will love this series, I am sure. Just be sure to read the TW before starting on this journey.
An outstanding 5 stars from me for the conclusion of a brilliant series. Thankyou @ALMaruga forgiving me the opportunity to read this brilliant series!
This is the final book in the Brotherhood of the Sacrament trilogy. I have read all the books that A.L. Maruga has released and loved every single one. I’m just so mad that somebody keeps reporting them and causing Amazon to remove them! Amazon has no problem with selling books about real serial unalivers but have a problem with fictional unhinged characters?!! Make that make sense!! Sorry for my rant! The conclusion to this dark and depraved series is nothing short of spectacular! I thought all the twists and turns were done in the first two books but I was so wrong! I continue being bombarded with them in this book!. I was satisfied with the ending but I was more sad to see the series was completed! Thank you, A.L. Maruga for such a dark, depraved, twisted and satisfying ending to this series. I love your books and will continue to support you as much as I can!
I was so excited when this ARC dropped, especially after that cliffhanger.
The MCs were really put through the wringer, and oh my heart... Poor Sammy 😭😭😭 I kept wanting to wrap him in my arms and give him a big hug. As with the other books, this one takes us on a journey filled with heartbreak, torture, betrayal, survival, surprises, mystery, suspense, and so much more.
I liked how they never gave up in their fight for each other even when their lives were on the line and they had to fight hard against all the obstacles that stood in their way.
They did not have an easy time getting to their HEA but finally got there!

I have been waiting so long for this book and AL did not disappoint. The edging has been pure torture! And finally getting it in my hands didn't lessen that feeling the amount of times I wanted to throw my kindle into the wall and scream into my pillow... The emotions pulled from me, and the anxiety I suffered everytime the plot twists did their thing it was like I was holding my breathe the entire book scared to get excited cause I just knew AL was about to rip my heart out. I was permanently at the edge of my seat! So basically buckle up and be prepared cause this series (this book especially) will have your stomach in knots waiting to exhale!
Be My Salvation takes us back into the Brotherhood Of The Sacrament world and concludes Dinah, Sammy, Abe and Zekes dark, intense, twisted story. This finale' is nothing short of fantastic! Their journey from start to finish has been incredibly intense, incredibly dark, incredibly intriguing and oh so twisted. Just when you think there's nothing more that can happen this author throws in something else that just goes to prove there's no limit to the imagination. This has been an incredible journey and is an absolute must read!
Dinah and her guys are back and this book is just as dark and amazing as the first two. You do have to read the first books to know who and what is going on but the are both great books as well and you won't regret it. This book has a bunch of triggers for anyone that needs to check them out. There are secrets and twists and turns o actually was yelling at the book at one point. This author is amazing at hooking you in and getting you attached to the characters.
What a wild ride this whole series was. I honestly didn’t know who was going to make it from one chapter to the next or if some new creep was going to come out of the woodwork to ruin everyone’s lives.
I ran a train on this trilogy and couldn’t tell you where one book started and the other ended because I was in another dimension trying to keep up with the mayhem but it was filthy, and dark and I had a great time reading it.
My one remark against it is the repetition - some scenes and even dialog felt like it was recycled, but not enough that it detracts from the excitement.
I was a little nervous about how this was going to end, but A.L. Maruga nailed it! It was action packed, more spice than the other two books combined, layers of "can i trust you?" Dinah has been surrounded by monsters her whole life so her skepticism is valid. But Abe and Zeke aren't sure they can trust her even though she trusts them; they've seen more carnage than necessary in this lifetime. Does Sammy, her love and savior come back to her? Sorry no spoilers here, you'll have to read it yourself.
OMG 😱 Best story ever. Mind blowing of suspense of craziness and horror moments. It was a thriller of an a page turner . I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t even put it down. It was dark with emotions and chaos. Was love in the cards for them in this moment of pain and sadness. Dinah and Zeke they was faced with dangerous and death and ghosts spirits with the emotions of Sammy and Abe in the mix of chaos. Will they be able to survive the madness of this judgement of this powerful force.
I definitely recommend this book and you won’t be disappointed.
Be My Salvation by A.L. Maruga is Brotherhood of the Sacrament book 3. I highly recommend reading the prior two books in the series so you can completely be up to date on the story. The plot is built on a boat load of angst and tragedy. A lot of mystery and betrayal befalls our 4 main characters. There is also a lot of chemistry and bonding throughout the novel.
All four are center stage in this book. There was so much going on for all of them in this book. A lot of up and down moments that leave you shaking your head. I definitely enjoyed reading this book and series.
