📚⇢ Hemos llegado al final del manhwa y… me pareció que todo fue demasiado apresurado y abrupto; en pocos capítulos tenemos desde el secuestro y rescate de Yeon-Oh, la separación de ambos con un salto temporal de seis meses, hasta su reconciliación en donde Jaehyuk finalmente acepta sus sentimientos y decide amar incondicionalmente a Yeon-Oh.

📚⇢ Se sintió como si la trama sólo hubiera estado de relleno y ahora (que los personajes ya habían logrado estar juntos) ya no importa que todo lo demás quede inconcluso; como el juicio contra el abuelo de Jaehyuk y también las consecuencias contra el compañero actor de Yeon-Oh que merecía sufrir. También me habría gustado un poco más si hubiera podido ver a ambos protagonistas ahora que por fin están juntos. Necesito que digan que se aman y se besen y follen románticamente… Espero que los extras muestren todo esto.

I love the art style and the main characters are incredibly attractive. However, the story is so mediocre imo. I think they deserved a more engaging storyline.

The ending was rather abrupt, i couldve had a few more grovelling chapters tbh but it was still an enjoyable read. The cliché tropes are cliché for a reason, they work 😌🫶🏽

A lot of people don't like the abrupt ending, but I honestly think the author's only goal was to make Jaehyuk come to accept his real feelings at the end & confess his love. It seems on brand that it would be resolved with these two pillars after such a long detour of him not accepting his feelings for another man. Bottom line, these dudes BOTH needed to communicate more because they withheld so much from eachother and it created a mess.

things would’ve been REALLY different if they communicated, but the angst kept me going. the way kwon changed? the way he started to accept his feelings and was doing anything he could for a chance & for seo’s time? masterpiece. we love to see a man groveling.

kwon hugging seo and apologizing. kwon watching over him. kwon taking care of him. <3

even tho i liked, the ending was too quick and very, very rushed. i think i just wanted to see more of them together now that they were on the same page ):
i mean, i’m happy for them? yeah. but i need more. i need them to say they love each other and kiss and fuck romantically 😭

keeping hopes abt having some side stories.

I really did enjoy this series, even though it stressed me out severely lol.
But I really find the ending so awkward and rushed. I can’t understand why the author ended it, the way it did, but I think it could have been better? I feel like there’s a few loose ends.

Over all story is 5/5. Just this volume is 4.

A lot of parts are just brushed off to the side and rapidly got closed to call it a day, but it's obvious the author wants those side plots to only be accessories to Jaehyuk and Seon-oh's relationship. Anyway, still glad with the ending. Glad that they got to make Jaehyuk and Seon-oh communicate with each other at least properly.

Too. Much. Angst. And what the heck was that ending?! After ALL THAT, that’s where it ends?! So damn unsatisfying.
If you’re going to torture me with that much angst I need it to pay off. We didn’t see anything with them being happy together!!!

Можу чесно сказати, що спочатку вся ця історія здалася мені дещо посередньою, але чим більше авторка відходила від першого тропу, тим цікавіше було читати.
В фіналі трохи не вистачило розділів про страждання чорнявого мужика, але най буде :)

Las ilustraciones me gustan pero la trama fue muy meh ... todo paso rápido y cuando ya se ponía bueno, capítulos finales bah! ... para mí parecía que íbamos por la mitad 🤷

En fin, espero las historias paralelas.

Un manhwa BL amb alts i baixos, però força addictiu gràcies a les seves espectaculars il·lustracions (de les millors juntament amb 야화첩 1, Pearl Boy i la pendent Ghost's nocturne trobo). Val a dir que tenia una imatge molt més tòxica de la relació i em pensava que inclouria escenes més bèsties, però no és el pitjor manhwa en aquest sentit ^^' Un actor novell arruïnat per culpa dels deutes de joc de son pare es veu obligat a acceptar "la companyia" d'un mecenes ric, l'atractiu, però distant hereu d'un conglomerat d'empreses. La 1a temporada és la millor perquè la trama i la presentació dels personatges és clara i no hi ha cap malentès o falta de comunicació absurda, més enllà de fer veure que estan sortint. Ara bé, a partir del capítol 58 la cosa descarrila molt fort perquè els protagonistes s'emprenyen l'un amb l'altre i lluny de voler solucionar el problema parlant, mantenen una actitud infantil i utilitzen el sexe com a moneda de canvi o per venjança. A més, el drama s'intensifica exageradament i el pobre uke no té ni un respir entre desgràcia i desgràcia. Finalment, la 3a temporada acaba d'una manera precipitada i amb la sensació de bluf insatisfactori perquè costa de creure el famós "redemption arc" amb confessió del seme inclosa i tampoc no es resol gaire bé la connexió que tenien de petits. El final és massa abrupte i és inevitable pensar que tots dos han embolicat la troca quan no calia perquè ja s'estimaven... En fi, molt amè, però veig que s'estan publicant unes noves side stories que espero que esmenin els problemes narratius de la història principal. De les 4 side stories ambientats en època Joseon a l'estil Painter of the night, 광안 총2권, Steel under silk i tantíssims d'altres millor ni en parlem... :/

This was way too short 😭 I really liked the way Kwon Jaehyuk grovelled and how Seo Yeon-oh was firm in his decision to cut off their relationship. KJH was kind of a bastard but he made a complete 180° in S3 and although they finally had their happy ending, the pacing was off and it felt rushed. I wish the author had dragged on the story instead, I certainly wouldn't have minded it at all.

I loved it with my whole heart! The story, the characters, THE SUFFERINGGG! This part of the story made me create fake scenarios in my head and fall asleep crying last night. It felt kinda pathetic, idkkk😭. ANDD I'm so down bad for ML he's soo finee gawddd. I loved everything (leaving out shitty villains), but the ending was so rushedd😭. I wanted some fluff! Now I'm on the side stories, I wanna reread it😮‍💨❤️‍🩹.

Things would've been a lot different if they communicated, but I guess that's the price we pay for angst. I felt that the ending was too quick, but I think I just wanted to see their relationship develop more (in a healthier way); it does still work.

As always, the art was stunning, and the angst kept me going, giving this a 3.75 (dedicating one star out of this to just the art).

2.5 ⭐️Le habría dado más estrellas si no fuera por ese final. Todo paso tan de golpe, esperaba ver a un Jaehyuk suplicando más por el perdón, rogando de verdad. Y qué fue eso? Ni siquiera un mldito beso de reconciliación! 😭 El cierre me dejó insatisfecha. Sin embargo, los perdono solo porque al menos hay extras.

Y siguen los inconvenientes. Aunque ya se nota muchísimo que a Yeon-oh le gusta mucho Jaehyuk, él todavía no admite sus sentimientos. Jaehyuk, por su parte, está un poco reacio; creo que piensa que Yeon-oh tiene a otros. Además, el maldito prestamista y el envidioso del compañero harán algo que sé que será malo, y ahora el guardia de Jaehyuk me da pésimas vibras.

De mis favoritos, hubo un momento en que el trope de actorxceo era lo unico que leia, sin embargo la historia y el dibujo de este sera mi favorito, esta en mi top del momento.
Puedo decir que esperaba mas capitulos del final, pero me gusto y voy a estar obsesionada con el el resto del año
