Once upon a time, there was a little kid who consistently had their face glued to the pages of a book. With a little faith, trust, and a whole hell of a lot of determination, that little kid went from the person reading books, to the person writing them. And thus, Rae Simmons was born.
With the publication of their debut Hunt You Down in the spring of 2022, this Atlanta native set off on a mission to highlight the hard-hitting issues facing the queer community.
When they’re not writing, Rae can be found curled up on the couch with one of their three dogs with their knitting in hand, watching Grey’s Anatomy for the millionth time—much to their partner’s dismay.

This was a fun and quick read full of spice and everything …well demony nice. I wouldn’t say there’s much “nice”, they are kinky and chaotic and sexy as sin. Layne is cute and sweet for a minute before he is pulled into this sexy world. Connor is a sex demon here to get revenge on a cheater on behalf of a witch that summoned him. And I was hooked! It was hot AF, these two have amazing chemistry. For being a short read, I definitely had a twist in there! It was an enjoyable novella. First book by this author but I was pleasantly surprised and thoroughly hooked.

You may recognise the name Conner, he was mentioned in The Vampire Kiss as one of Ryder's hookups. But what we did not know that Connor is Incubi.
Connor is in Vegas to act out a revenge request, but when he spots Layne a shy human, he instantly knows he want to have him.
This was a quick read and as Connor is an Incubus expect plenty of spicy scenes. I loved see Connor work and how he was to achieve what he was tasked to do.
As it is a novella it is short but I would love for them to make an appearance in the Neon Moonlight series as I could not get enough of them

This book was so good!! I couldn’t put it down! The storyline was so good and the spice was so spicy! 🥵 The one scene where he says “we” is a dream I’m sure many of us have and you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about once you get to that scene 😉

Wow this is a new to me writer and I have to say o thoroughly enjoyed this story. A great storyline with adorable characters and some sexy kinky steam, romance and a little humour too. It’s a great short lunch time read and I cannot wait to read more by this writer!

Wanted a bit more of what I promised at the beginning of the book, but otherwise, it is a very well written story of a succubus and a human technically mating, but I won't ruin it for you

I hope we get to see more from these two MCs. By the end, I wasn't ready for the story to be over. I want more. Hoping the author continues to expand this world.
