It wasn’t hard for me to walk away from my family without looking back—the time had come for me to live for myself. New city. New job. My new boss? He’s gorgeous. It’s too bad that handsome face is wasted on such a condescending prick. He hates me, and the feeling is mutual. The only reason he may not be the literal devil is because he’s a devoted single dad, making it clear Caine is, in fact, capable of human emotion.
Caine
I’m good at two things: 1. Raising my daughter to be strong and independent. 2. My job. When my new assistant walks into the office, I become good at ignoring her. She’s sassy. Smart. Beautiful. Much younger and off-limits for more reasons than I can count. That doesn’t mean I want her any less. She hates me—but as each day goes by, it’s harder and harder to remember why I hate her too.
When Wall Street Journal and USA Today Best Selling Author's nose isn't buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she's in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It's a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn't listen to her...

This was my very first Natasha Madison book and i loved it! Such a fun workplace romance read. Caine and Grace had the chemistry, the tension, and all the spice and i loved it.
Caine is Grace’s new boss, where sparks fly, tension ignites, and all the emotions and banter happens.
The only two reasons I’m giving it 4/5 stars is because some paragraphs didn’t flow as well as I would have liked and Grace was a bit too immature at times for my liking. But other than that this was a really spicy fun read that I would highly recommend if you are in the mood for a boss/assistant romance with an age gap/single dad plus a wonderful amount of spice.
I’m definitely going to be reading more Natasha Madison books.
The first time he sees her, her checks out her ass, then goes on (and on [and on]) about how young he thinks she looks. Harassing her immediately the morning she starts isn't grumpy boss behavior, it's defendant in the inevitable lawsuit boss behavior. But don't worry, the good brother just had a sexual harassment lawsuit last year! (Don't worry again, she just did it for the *attention*) And Grace, whose maturity was honestly the only thing Caine got right in this book, annoyed the shit out of me the whole time.
Also, imagine you're in class and a classmate has her camera and mic on while she's being eaten out. They didn't sign up for this, jfc
Good writing couldn't have made up for the shit plot here, but good writing was nowhere to be found, so that's just speculation.
Having this adorable book as one of my last reads of the year was such a great way to end the year, it was sexy, sweet, swoony and such an easy book to get swept away in. So much about this one was heartfelt but the romance was hot and steamy too, a perfect balance. Tropes include enemies to lovers, workplace, single parent, and grumpy/sunshine which were blended together perfectly. Once again Savannah Peachwood and Jason Clarke were incredible so if you’re an audio fan they were amazing.
Grace moves to a new city, her new boss is so hot but turns out to be a jerk to her. All the tension and banter was sooooo good. I loved seeing some of the other characters in the past series pop up in this book and it was so nice seeing the family again. Also Nash was so fun would love to see a book on him 🫶🏼
Tropes in this book… 💚Single dad 💍Age gap 💚Forced Proximity 💍Grumpy Sunshine 💚Boss / Assistant romance 💍Enemies to lovers 💚Virgin Heroine
I am sad this is the last book but this was the perfect book to end the series🫶🏼
The audio was so good and the narrators did amazing. I highly recommend listening to this audio.
Started off ok, though if anyone really spoke to their boss that way they'd be out on their backside. Where it went bad was when they got together. The entire sex fiend virgin troupe needs to be trashed. It's ridiculous and clownish. Also authors, we don't need to know that every time they kissed their tongues did some weird water ballet moves. The ex situation was just weird and out of left field. Not addressing the impact of her coming back as the boss' gf was a mistake. I really think this series ran its course three or four books ago.
worst part was how childish the fmc was to me and I think it’s because she was technically supposed to be gen z but Jesus, the author failed with trying to write a Gen z character 💀 like girl we don’t say “perf” or abbreviate everything
some parts were sweet but this wasn’t anything special
Another cute addition to the Southern Wedding Series ❤. Lots of fiery chemistry between the two MCs with tons of banter. The FMC could be a bit immature at times, but she is young so, 🤷🏻♀️. Every time I read one of these stories, I want to go back and read the original two books, I just love them so much. There's only one of the grandkids left and it'll be exciting to sed where NM will take us next.
I LOVE a good workplace romance but the pacing and vibe of this book felt a bit off. One minute they’re annoyed with each other and the next they’re getting off in his office? The FMC was also very immature and If I ever talked to my boss the way she did I’d be fired after the second syllable. A little too fast paced for me🫣
This book was a surprise for sure. MMC is a single dad to a little girl and I adored their relationship (little girl is 100% gonna grow up to be a spoiled Sephora, drunk elephant lover but whatever). FMC is an assistant and a virgin but the way this girl talks, you would not think she’s inexperienced. Really hoped I’d get to see more between the FMC and the daughter but they were barely together and their love for each other came out of nowhere. Caine and Grace had no chemistry besides attraction and there was no development in their relationship above their little banter in the office (which I did enjoy) and them hooking up. Overall I did enjoy this book as I love a good single parent trope but this just had a lot of missing potential.
Jan 9- thought more about this book and just one specific scene really made me drop another star. Womp womp
Unbelievably immature and unlikable. Caine is annoying and unpleasant. I usually really enjoy Natasha Madison but this had no real plot and hard to like characters. Definitely skip it and read the hockey series instead.
I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
Mine to Keep, book 8 in the Southern Wedding series, was the perfect book to kick off my reading goals for 2024. Plans were afoot to give upon the series after the disappointing experience with Mine to Take and Mine to Promise. However, the previous instalment gave me hope. Then Mine to Keep knocked it out of the park. Wow! Mine to Keep delivered sweet, sexy, swoon worthy and laugh out loud moments. Madison definitely saved the best for last. Readers who enjoy the enemies to lovers, age gap, boss/employee relationship and grumpy/ sunshine trope featuring a single father will want to read this one.
Mine to Keep gives us Caine and Grace's story. Grace desires to make a career change and to achieve her she took a job in a new city m She looked forward to starting her new job. However, what was supposed to be an exciting first day on the job turned into a complete disaster when she came in contact with her jerk of a boss. However, his reaction to her did not intimidate her. She went toe to toe with him, which led to some heated moments between the two. Caine never knew what hit him.
I loved the interactions between these two. Several times they had me chuckling. Caine tries fighting his attraction to Grace, as he believes she's too young for him. Hence, the reason for his condescending attitude. Eventually, his attraction to her won the battle. I sensed a modicum of insecurity in him. One of the things that had me chuckling was his bouts of jealous when certain persons showed an extensive interest in Grace.
The sexual tension leapt from the pages. The scene in which they both finally gave into their feelings was intense. Their romance had the perfect balance of sweet and steamy. I adored Grace's relationship with Caine's daughter.
Now, while I loved this story, the conflict which occurred almost at the end of the story had me fuming. Caine's insecurity once again reared its head. Thankfully, he addresses it, which involved him grovelling. Mine to Keep was a wonderful read and good way to kick off the new year.
Natasha Madison kicks of 2024 in style with a romance sure to make you swoon, laugh, sigh and aww.
As Grace makes the decision to leave the south and her small town and big family to head to DC. To work for another family firm as a personal assistant to cranky, gorgeous single dad Caine.
Who is stunned by the younger Grace from the moment he first sees her. And the feeling is mutual. But thanks to Caine's demeanor it's fair to say the pair don't get off on the right foot and things don't improve thanks to a series of misunderstandings.
But one thing is clear these two are attracted to each other and when the attraction takes over the sparks fly. And eventually they begin to date.
Only it's all done in secret. Which doesn't exactly sit well with either of them. Especially when they both end up attending a birthday party for a familiar little girl.
And with plenty of spicy moments, sweetness and humour. Not to mention family feels. This was a really entertaining and delightful read. That I easily devoured and there was just something about these two characters and Caine's daughter Meadow that I loved. And it's clear that Natasha shines when writing stories featuring single parents and this one was no different.
I would happily recommend it to all, and it can easily be read as a stand alone.
My thanks to Natasha Madison and Wildfire Marketing for the opportunity to read an early copy of Mine to Keep. 😊
When Grace moves far away from home to start her life in NYC, she doesn’t expect her boss to be a complete jerk. Which he is immediately. But Grace is determined to kill him with kindness and that’s exactly what she does! And let me tell you, the tension between these two is so HOT!
Caine is a single dad to the most adorable daughter! And I loved how Grace took to her and formed a special bond.
As always, love to see previous Natasha Madison characters and couples! Sad to see this series end, but hoping we see more of Caine’s brother Nash in the future.
no thank you. 0 chemistry, one second they hated each other the next they were enamored by each other. Mmc kept being rude and sexist to the fmc in the beginning and somehow the she wants to be with him after it? When the mmc ex wife/baby mama shows up while the fmc is at his house she decides to run off like a child to her hometown or whatever and ignores his pleas to come back so “his wife can spend time with the kid”. Now when she decides to come back to work he rightfully is annoyed with her and ignores her till she comes in his office and is like we should talk. He’s like “have a conversation like we should’ve instead of you running off and acting like a toddler”. They have a 10 year age gap and so when he says the toddler part can you guess what she does? She runs on back to her hometown where her family’s at 😐. Babe you were quite literally acting like a child and you’re mad bc “he’s never going to let go of the age thing”
2 stars is me being generous truly and I wish this book wasn’t even a single dad bc 99.9% of the time the kid was around she got a babysitter or sent somewhere else. Me personally I read single dad romances to see the interactions with the kid and they grow into a family. Waste of my time
I live for how comforting this series is. It ticks all the boxes for everything I love. But the best part of this one was the banter. The dialogue was soooo good.
Ahhhh this book. Enemies to lovers, forced Proximity, grumpy/sunshine, single dad & office romance all into a 275 page amazing story!
What I absolutely loved about Natasha’s books is that characters from all of her series pop up randomly at any time!
Grace moved to Washington DC to expand her wings. She wants to earn her pay and her accomplishments personally.
Caine is a single dad of a 4 year old and has been since day one. Having full custody of her and running a very successful business, he has little time for unwanted drama.
Grace shows up for her first day as Caine’s assistant and he instantly says no. He says she’s so young and it’s all code because he’s so smitten by her beauty. Grace pushes back and proves to him how amazing she is. The push and pull, the Angsty moments, the humor… oh man the humor… was just all top notch!!
I ate this book up so fast and now I’m bummed because I want to be back in the book land of these two.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️
Tropes: Single dad Age Gap (10 years) Forced Proximity Office Romance Grumpy/Sunshine Secret Romance Boss/Assistant Enemies to Lovers Close family
Another wonderful book from Natasha Madison’s! 🥰 This books is part of the Southern Wedding series but could 100% be read as a stand alone! I think this book has been my favorite of the series so far as I really liked the story and the characters!
Some of my highlights: 💖 THE TROPES!! 😫 This book had so many of my favorite tropes and it made the book so good!! Workplace romance, single dad, age gap, grumpyXsunshine, enemies to lovers… All such amazing tropes and they were all so well done! 💖 This book is so light and fun! It made me laugh but it also had the perfect amount of sweet moments and steaminess! The pacing made the book so easy to read! 💖 I loved Caine and Grace together and their dynamic! I loved how their dislike of one another turned into love, but I love how they kept their banter which is what made me fall in love with them in the first place! They made each other better and I really liked them together! The fact that he was so grumpy and she had amazing comebacks to everything he said really made their relationship so much fun to read! 💖 Caine’s daughter Meadow was so cute! I loved when she was included in the story and I loved seeing Caine’s protective side come out for her! I also loved seeing the relationship between Grace and Meadow develop as it made my heart happy!
Overall, such a wonderful romance that’s filled with so many laughs, sweet moments and spice! Such a wonderful book to start the year!
Thank you so much Natasha Madison for an ARC of this wonderful book! Out now!
I enjoyed this one. I love the single dad trope, and this one didn't disappoint. I was a little nervous reading this one because everyone talks about Grace and her immaturity in reviews, but I didn't see that throughout the book. I mean, her leaving at the end was immature, sure, but all the other stuff she did was throwing Cain's words back in his face.
I will say that I was disappointed that the cover doesn't match this book at all, nor the premise of this entire series. They don't get married. Shoot, they don't even get engaged. There was so much time spent on the build-up of a relationship that we actually don't see really any of their relationship. They are barely together, they do that stupid third-act breakup, then the I love you's fly, and it's over. Literally.
You get just a tad bit more with the bonus epilogue that you can get emailed to you, but even that was rushed. I would've loved to see more of them together as a family.
I loved this story. I also loved seeing all the other characters who I missed at well. Caine was a jerk at first and I wanted to slap him a few times but I also love the enemies to lovers storyline. Grace definitely did not back down from Caine. I also loved Meadow. She is a sweetheart as well.

Natasha Madison's masterful storytelling and compelling characters make this a must-read for fans of the genre, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a heartfelt and engaging romance novel.
3.5🌟 I had so much fun reading this book! There were times I was giggling out loud, and it was such a sweet read. Perfect, easy read if you don’t want to use too much brain power.
3.8 ⭐️ Caine and Grace Single dad Grumpy/sunshine Workplace Age gap V- heroine
Maybe is me I felt Grace was childish and disrespectful to her boss that would never be accepted and would be fire and the monologue let just said it wasn’t my cup of tea. The author was all over the place with the way Grace acted at work.
Caine is attracted to Grace and act grumpy against her the moment he see her and wants to be with her. He a single dad with an ex wife who wants to be with him. Grace and Caine give in with their hostile work relationship and start a secret affair at work which there relationship is not allowed.
The drama at 83 was unnecessary Grace knew he had an ex. Now when she involve in the little girl life she wants nothing to do with them and she need to think are you serious ugh.
3.5 stars. This last book of the series brings Caine and Grace's story. Being absolutely honest, and as a fan of Natasha Madison, I did struggle a bit with this one. While I was rooting all the way for their HEA, I didn't relate as strongly to either character and the humour brought into the books by Grace's extended family, wasn't as prevalent. Grace was an uneasy mix of feisty and too much, for me. As always, the book has warmth, love, family and friends, all ingredients I love. Overall a good read. 💖💖💖💖
