In the heart of Dublin, at the iconic O'Mara's guesthouse overlooking St Stephen's Green, Bronagh Hanrahan has been presiding over reception for what seems like forever. Her romance with Leonard Walsh, once a guest himself, blossomed thanks to a gentle matchmaking nudge from the guesthouse’s manager, Aisling O’Mara. Their romance has gone from strength to strength, but lately, a formidable obstacle has emerged – the Irish Sea. Leonard, hailing from Liverpool, crosses the water regularly to be with Bronagh, and she’s had enough of saying hello and goodbye. Caring for her elderly mother means Bronagh can’t uproot her life in Dublin. Yet, Leonard has ties in Dublin with his sister Joan, who, like Bronagh, yearns for him to return to his roots and can’t under his reluctance to do so. Aisling decides to play Cupid again and steer the couple toward a more permanent arrangement when Leonard is back to attend an O’Mara family christening as Bronagh’s guest. Little does Aisling know that Leonard harbours a secret in Liverpool. A secret that could change everything between him and Bronagh.

This book continues the journey of the O'Mara women (and the men who love them). It's like pulling a cozy blanket around yourself every time you step into Michelle Vernal's world. You feel like you're right there with them whether they are at home in Dublin or on a trip, even if you've never been Ireland. I have literally laughed out loud while reading this series, which I don't remember ever doing before. If you are interested in Ireland and enjoy a cozy read, this series should be on your must-read list.
I can never get enough of the O’Mara family! Every book is better than the last and this one is just as fun filled! Maureen is a force of nature and her adventure with Aisling will leave you with tears of laughter and joy. So happy we get to learn more about Branagh and Leonard! Cannot wait for the next book in the series! Michelle Vernal, you are the only author who makes me wait with great anticipation for your next offering! A finer writer I have never seen!
It was nice to catch up with the O'Mates again. They make you laugh, especially Mammy and they make you cry but it all worked out in the end. I remember the ferry from when I was a child and it was not exactly like that. Probably improved now but always rough. Took me back
I absolutely loved reading this book it was a laugh out loud catch up with the O'Mara's. Aisling decided to interfere again with someone's love life of course Mammy got herself involved. I am so looking forward to the next book in this series.
Michelle Vernal is hands down my favourite author and this series of books had me literally laugh out loud. I would recommend this author and series to anyone. 5 stars 🌟 🤩 ✨️ 😍 💛
I love visiting with the O'Maras and experiencing their crazy lives. Bronya and her man friend Leonard have split up, and Mammy and Aisling travel to Liverpool to confront Leonard and find out why. Of course, being the O'Maras, nothing goes smoothly.
Enjoyed reading this book just as much as the previous 15. Feels like your part of this family and can actually feel as if your there with them. Maureen is hilarious. Can't wait for the next one.
