الشعبوية التي تكتسح الديموقراطيات في ايامنا هذه من ترامب في امريكا الى الاحزاب الشعبوية في اوروبا الشرقية وايطاليا واماكن اخرى من العالم
في هذا الكتاب نتعرف على هذا التوجه والفرق بينه وبين الديماغوجية والفاشية وتشريح هذا الخطاب وعيوبه كتاب مهم جدا في هذه الفترة

كتاب ممل، مرهق، مغرق في النظرية والتجريد وبشكل زائد عن الحد، ولا تماسك بين فقراته. النجمتان فقط للجهد المبذول في كتابة الكتاب وللمصادر العديدة فيه.

A small mind that is onto something: populism. Oh! That's bad. And here the author goes with their small thoughts. Sadly Urbinati does not seem to understand that Populism is the Haram name for Politics. And Democracy is the Halal name for Politics. So if the speaker likes it and agrees with the promise, than it is Democracy, the good god, getting its will done. If the speaker does not like it, than it is Populism, the devil, getting its will done. And that is about it: Urbinati lives in a magical world populated by all sorts of gods, powerful wizards that take away the free will of the people, and hopefully, there are some unicorns in there as well.
