Мальовка просто заслуговує на окреме місце в серденьку, повсякденно з проблемами справжнього життя. Головні герої просто бусінки, а наше оформлення і переклад просто всіх вищих похвал. Дуже раджу!!

If you're excited for this book, ignore me, this review is not for you, this book is probably for you!!!

This book is so not for me, and I should have put it aside when I read the first few pages and realized that it wasn't for me, but it was short and I decided to keep going, and then it was the last day before my day off (important: I read this on my breaks at work) so I wasn't gonna start a new one, so I finished it and we're here. By the end I didn't like it more or less, it was exactly what it showed me it was in the beginning, and I learned a lesson to put books aside.

This was a romance and a dynamic that didn't click with me, I normally like established relationships, but this one takes place in the work place, and he's his boss, and that's really central in their relationship, and it made me deeply uncomfortable... and then there's also possessiveness which is a character trait I really do not like... and then there's these reactions to each other and each other's bodies that again didn't feel natural, and I didn't expect so much going around underdressed, which I've talked before, unless it's fanfic, I don't care for it...

Again, ignore my review, I was just dumb to pick up something I knew nothing about because I liked the cover and title, and then to keep reading when this clearly had tropes I did not like. If this is your thing, read it, you'll probably love it!!!

While GoodReads has yet to update data for this comic, I have read the Aloha Comics English translation of this book. All in all, this is a very cute, fast read to introduce us to an office romance. I'm not entirely sure I'll keep going with it, but it was definitely worth reading this first volume and I enjoyed the characters and what we got of their backstories.

I like the episodic nature of this book. Overall the story is nice, even if I would have preferred to have a better idea about the start of their relationship.

The art style is wonderful!

The biggest problem I had with this was the translation. I really hate to feel like I'm shitting on someone's hard work, but this was really not it. The dialogue at times felt very stiff. At one point sexuality was confused with gender - which bugged me a bit -, and it felt like it was literally translated from the original language.
Additionally, at times if felt like multiple people translated different parts of the book. When they change from formal office speech to informal speech, it feels like two people looked at the text and had different interpretations.

I wanted to like this more because this is exactly the sort of manwha / graphic novels / webtoons I usually gravitate towards, but left me wanting a lot more.

C'est mignon, mais je n'ai pas tellement aimé. Plusieurs trucs m'ont ennuyé. Je crois que ce type de BL n'est plus trop fait pour moi.

Je n'ai pas aimé le fait qu'un personnage appelle toujours son copain chef, puisqu'il est son assistant (bon déjà bof). Ce n'est pas tant cela en soi, mais plutôt le fait que l'un des personnages semble presque passif dans l'histoire qui a fini par me fatiguer.

En revanche les doubles pages de chapitre sont très belles.

Mes gros bébés d'amour 🫶 Suivant la parution du webcomic, j'ai pris tellement de plaisir à re-découvrir Xiaofei et Dongyun en version papier. Une romance de bureau toute douce qui se dévore toute seule !

A cute little read with lovely art but next to no substance.

The whole book felt more like a collection of bonus stories for a full story that existed elsewhere. The snippets were nice, gentle, little day-to-day stories, but there wasn't really a cohesiveness to it, nor was there a nice set up for the characters. You were just kind of thrust into the story and learned a little bit about them as you read.

Still, as said, definitely cute and I enjoyed the art style.

Прочитав маньхву «Вихідний. Day Off. Том 1». Це дуже мила історія про звичайні стосунки двох світлих людей — начальника Ши Дон'юня та його підлеглого Хва Сяофея 🥰

Не треба нікого засуджувати за службовий роман. Тут це подається в настільки легкій та добрій формі, що посмішка не покине ваше обличчя, поки ви не дочитаєте маньхву 😃

Тому так, тут дійсно стосунки між начальником і підлеглим, але це взагалі не заважає насолоджуватися історією, бо всі сюжетні моменти настільки теплі й милі, що неможливо не тішитися ☺

Мальовка дуже гарна. Просто очі радіють, коли дивишся на всі ці ілюстрації. Теплі рожево-жовті тони в пастельній гамі створюють атмосферу затишку та комфорту ☀️

Серйозного сюжету як такого тут немає. Просто звичайні будні двох людей, які закохалися одне в одного з першого погляду. Вони не бояться осуду суспільства, але все ж мусять приховувати свої стосунки на роботі. І це зрозуміло. Тим паче, службові романи завжди викликають зайві розмови 🗣️

У повсякденному житті вони разом дивляться жахастики, обідають на роботі, ходять на прогулянки, навіть наглядають за племінником начальника. Відчувається, ніби вони тільки вчаться бути разом і взаємодіяти як пара. Нічого особливого, але все це прям дуже-дуже кавайно 😻

Ler novelas gráficas é quase sempre uma experiência maravilhosa que termina demasiado depressa, e esta não foi exceção. Apesar da sua simplicidade, conta-nos uma história de amor de forma muito terna e envolvente. É daquelas leituras que nos deixam de coração cheio e proporcionam um enorme prazer do princípio ao fim.

Com vários momentos de humor bem conseguidos e algumas situações de infantilidade propositadamente cómicas, acompanha o romance entre dois homens que são colegas de trabalho. À partida, trata-se de um romance de escritório pouco ético, mas as personagens são tão genuínas, adoráveis e fáceis de acarinharmos que rapidamente esquecemos esses obstáculos e deixamo-nos envolver pela sua história.

Gostei mesmo muito desta leitura. Hoje apetecia-me pegar numa novela gráfica e sinto que não podia ter escolhido melhor. Dia de Folga revelou-se uma história de amor leve, divertida, ternurenta e absolutamente encantadora, perfeita para quem procura uma leitura capaz de arrancar vários sorrisos.

Ну що тут сказати...це просто мила історія про повсякдення двох закоханих чоловіків. Легеньке комфортне чтиво на хвилин 20 ☕ Мальовка приємна, але мені трохи кольори занадто світлі, інколи не дуже комфортно читати. Або це стиль роботи, або через друк і тип паперу. Та скоріше і те, і інше.

Манхва у форматі коротких глав, де зображені ті чи інші сцени з їх повсякденного та офісного життя. Сюжету як такого тут практично нема, хіба що під кінець невелика цільна гілка)

Тут у нас троп службового роману. Головні герої - начальник і його підлеглий, які зустрічаються декілька місяців і в офісі приховують свої стосунки. Що один, що другий - приємні ґрін флеги, що дбають одне про одного і інколи дуркують. Особливо Сяофей, така рожева зефіринка 🥰 Але саме момент початку їх стосунків нам не показують, тільки знайомство, тому зразу приймаємо як факт. Хоча в майбутньому буде 2 том, авось там десь флешбеки будуть. Сподіваюсь на це, бо все ж люблю повну картину історії героїв 😒

This one's soft and easy, exactly the kind of low-stakes read you pick up to unwind. Xiaofei and his boss Dongyun move through cute little day-in-the-life moments, office lunches, a picky eater boss, small domestic warmth instead of big drama. The art is soft and minimal and does a lot of the emotional work on its own.

The problem is the episodic format skips too much. Their first meeting is only shown in flashback, and the relationship jumps from barely-there tension to a kiss with almost nothing in between, so some big moments don't land as hard as they should.

Still, it's sweet, low-stakes, and exactly what it wants to be, just wanted a little more room to breathe.

I really enjoyed the characters a lot in this book, they were very interesting to read about. Also the chapters were very funny and cute, so much so that I found myself giggling at times.
The only thing I would ask for is a little bit more structure and more definied time-line in the story. For exemple I would've loved to know a little bit more about each of them individually and what lives they have led until they meat each other but only small glances were mentioned.
Overall really enjoyed reading it!

I read the English publication of this by Aloha comics. I didn’t know anything about this going in, so it was a nice light read. Perfect for any public library’s general collection or a college library. It’s a office romance and there was nothing beyond kissing in it. They attempted at one point to go all the way and showed the products to do so safely but they didn’t accomplish it. This is one of the only manhua printed in English in the us that I know of so I’m excited to see more be published here.

Its a really easy and calming book to read with just the right amount of spice.
If you don’t feel like reading this one would help you go back into reading.
Although there’s some chapters that I found quite confusing, but it could be the cultural difference. And lack of attachment to the characters but that’s not anything obligatory for a book to have,so it’s really just personal.
It’s a good book, i enjoyed my reading but it’s one of the book i enjoy once and wouldn’t read again really.
