A year has passed since the events of Spruce Road, and the mystery of the partygoers' deaths remains unsolved. Back at Asher's Palace, the upscale restaurant where most of the victims had once worked, life goes on as usual.
Nick Whitley, a congenial server who doesn't take his job as seriously as some of his managers would like, spends his days pleasing customers, chatting with co-workers, and flirting with Danielle, a charming but fiery cook with a criminal past. The pleasant monotony of his world is turned upside down when he's visited by the ghost of a friend who had met his end a year earlier. A friend who comes with a mysterious warning.
Meanwhile, Nick's co-workers discover that their grand, historic restaurant hides secrets within its high, impressive, but peeling walls. These horrors are only heightened by the appearance of a mysterious man who warns Nick that there is unfinished business at The Little Maple Cabin on Spruce Road.
With danger and death staring them down, a group of staff members at Asher's Palace are forced together to pursue answers about what really happened to their murdered friends. But at the same time, something sinister is pursuing them...

Raphael has been writing fiction and making art since he was seven years old. He entered the public eye in 2019 when he began posting selections of his poetry on Instagram. Principally an author of fiction, with particular focus upon the horror and fantasy genres, Raphael has written a diverse collection of novels and short stories, which are set for publication in the near future.
