Hello! I am a writer from Ukraine who initially started writing to distract myself from the routine of my day job and the events unfolding around me.

Though I may not yet be an incredibly accomplished author, I am passionately dedicated to improving my skills every day. My goal is to continually enhance the quality of my writing and the depth of the stories I tell.

Currently, I am working on an ambitious project – a series of books set in my own unique universe, titled "The Immortal Drunkard." This series is a labor of love and creativity, and I have already amassed a significant amount of text that is now in the process of being refined and shaped into books.

+1 star for not writing a recap. I absolutely hate long series where every book starts with a rambling recap of What Has Gone Before. This author thankfully does not commit this sin.

+1 for writing great interactions between characters, especially MC's interactions with the various female characters. We have a great variety of female characters, and cultures, in this series. Some, the MC likes and gets along with. Others, not so much. Most of the characters in this series are supposed to be teens, and as such awkward relationships are to be expected. The author does an excellent job portraying this. There is a real sense of difference between male and female characters beyond current day body type-A and body type-B.

-1 for needing a better editor. It strongly appears the author is not a native English speaker, there are many strange phrasings and weird shifts of tense. There are also examples of near-homonym misuse. For example, confusing aesthetic (art) and ascetic (self-denial).

Overall, a good story and I'm off to read book 3

Writing is better with each book

I am now completely hooked on this series, and the writer just gets better and better with practice! Kai keeps running headlong into danger, only to advance rapidly. Each deadly situation just makes him stronger.

I am somewhat creeped out by the sexual references considering the age of the protagonist. He just turned 15, yet he's already known as a drunkard, and lost his virginity two years ago? Yes, I know times were tough in the old days, and kids married (and drank!) young. But considering the cultural mores of the readers, some retroactive age editing might be a good idea. Just a suggestion.

Better than book one.

So I was quite disappointed with the end of book one. This book tho! Wow, what a perfect ending! This is how you do a climax. Aside from one small gripe which you might understand if you don’t like cliffhangers, the ending was perfect.

As for the rest of the book, it was also good. A lot less idle thoughts and tropes where he was entirely alone. In one case he was by himself but with others giving case. Much more interesting Han Solo travel/cultivation.

5 stars.

fun

The MC leaves the Frontier City to go join the Shadow Sect. There he becomes a Personal Disciple and gains popularity, power, and acclaim. After a while he wins a chance to visit an island that will help his powers grow. There he navigates a cave system into a dangerous area, his masters save him, but they are attacked and the MC is flung into a dark void called the abyss. Book ends

An interesting listen. Great narration. Please enjoy

The protagonist is again behaving horribly towards women butis - of course- still beloved by them and his superiors. Once again he grows way too fast but at least he experiences his first defeat.

In this book the protagonist often behaves like a sociopathic murder hobo to grow stronger reminding of a raving vampire..

Excellent Series

In this book we get an explanation for the name of this series. Our very enjoyable main character makes it into the top one hundred of the sect and goes on an Expedition. Absolutely Fantastic story.

Lost 2 stars for NOT writing a Recap.

I think every reader needs to start doing this to force authors to write a quick Recap chapter, which readers can skip if they remember, and those who don't won't stop reading the series.

Really good

This book was interesting. I liked it, but there are a lot of times that the MC is really hard to pull for. That said, this book is well worth the read, especially if you have read the first one.

Great Second Volume!

It just keeps getting better! I’ve read plenty of cultivations novels and this one is fairly unique. It still follows similar troupes but it feels more refreshing. Give it a try or continue on to volume 3!
