A teacher and coach with a surprise k!nky side? Yes, please!

Restraints and Rebounds had me from the very start! Poor Erin just wanted to get away after a bad breakup and spend some time with her Aunt Marlene. She never thought she would be thrust into a blind date, and a blind date for Valentine's Day at that.

You know what they say though, if you want to make God laugh just tell him what you've got planned. It seems there was something larger at play here for Erin and that came in the form of Mike. The not at all vanilla basketball coach.

They were a surprise for another, and they could've never have predicted what would unfold. Is Erin ready to let go of the past and can Mike get her to say?

It is a Valentine's Day story, you know they eventually get their HEA but their journey to that HEA is full of spice, fun, love, and unexpected surprises. Eliza Black really captivated me and as with the rest of the books in this series I am going to have to check her backlog as well. This book was just what I didn't know I needed.

With three books finished in the Love is in the Air series I need to go feast my eyeballs upon the rest because these have all been five-stars and I am not ready to say goodbye to this world these authors have created.

I loved this feel-good story about not settling for less than you deserve and knowing when to head for greener pastures. I don’t know if Hazy Cove is a real place, but it sounded like a dream. Erin has always loved the place and staying with her great-aunt Marlene. When her aunt convinces Erin to enter a radio contest for a blind date with a local bachelor, Erin never expected to win, but what has she got to lose. Mike was a teacher, which seemed a safe bet, but you know what they say, still waters run deep and there were certainly hidden depths for Erin to explore. I loved his playful side too and he loved to keep Erin on the edge (yes, that way too). While their connection was intense, I loved how they took their time to learn more about each other before taking the next step, although they had a lot of fun along the way 😊

If you’re in need of a quick kinky romance then look no further! Restraints & Rebounds had everything I loved about contemporary romance but no boring vanilla smut. Erin & Mike have great chemistry and I genuinely liked both characters. Though we don’t get to see Aunt Marlene much I do want to be her when I’m older.

This quickie has made me go track down the rest of the series to devour and I highly suggest you do the same.

I saw this beautiful book as I was looking for another. It is a nice short read but it packs a punch. I have found I love reading books that have BDSM in them. This was one and I just quickly caught it in one of the words, enough to read the blurb and buy the book. It is all about small town love but how to meet someone who is interested in your BDSM lifestyle, especially when you are a teacher. Enter in a woman in town to visit her aunt but rebounding.
Great HEA. Filled with passion and erotica!
It is worth checking out!

Another small town BDSM romance
- it was cute as usual but why was the mmcs name Mike??? Not a hot name . I love a good small town romance and this is the 3rd book in this series I’ve read ( it’s so cute and I don’t understand why it’s not got more hype. - as usual there’s BDSM aspects in this book ( it’s a BDSM romcom after all ) it’s a short fun .

I could not get enough of this story. I'm normally not too into sports (besides hockey) in my romance books but oh my gosh. Mike and his sports-teacher-y-ness where so adorable. I couldn't help but fall for him. Even though our FMC was originally rebounding I knew that she would stick the landing and get this hole in one (sports lingo isn't my thing lol).

This is a delightful novella.

The five books in the series (by different authors) all have the same arc. A cute meet through a Valentine Day promo at a radio station in a small Oregon town, a first date, romance with light BDSM, some sort of tension, and HEA. This one fits the pattern with charm and wit.

Given the requirements of the writing project (including short length), the story hits everything quite well.

Erin headed back to Hazy Cove to see her aunt and re-evaluate her life. Never expecting to be chosen as a blind date, she meets Mike and well, their chemistry is off the charts!! Loved it! Wish it had been longer.
