Later Half is Good. Tips & Real Life Examples of companies. Economical and Psychological factors are in detail!

Pros
1. Lot of real life examples are given to explain every concept and term.
2. Tricks of masters like warren buffet are discussed in the book.
3. It complements the book 'everything you wanted to know about stock market INVESTING by CNBC TV 18' by giving numerous real life examples.

Cons
1. The book starts with how imaginary character Mr. Money and his friends start business. It is their story.
2. To explain stock market functioning Registration of Land and Vegetable Market is described in detail.
3. Rather than directly explaining stock market a lot of indirect stories are used.
4. Author is trying to be humorous by suggesting sex is more lucrative than Sensex at many places. It is in bad taste and not required.
5. Chapters 16 and 18, 19 are very boring. Chapter 20 is very long.
6. Some typing mistakes are there all over the book.
7. 'everything you wanted to know about stock market INVESTING by CNBC TV 18' is more organized and lucid then this book.

Amazingly interesting and informative book, that provides in depth actionable knowledge about stock market investments. Elucidation of facts and fundamentals of the share investments described is overwhelmingly eye catching and effective. Its a must read for those people who wants to understand and invest in share market without any broker for high margin profits.

A must read for young entrepreneurs.

This is a nice book, in simple language, explaining the basics of investment in the Indian stock market. The author prefers long term investment to any other method of making quick money and reiterates this many times. For someone thinking of getting on the stock market bandwagon, this book shall serve as a guide. On the flip side, this is not for people wanting to make money fast.
The biggest problem for me with this otherwise useful book is the numerous errors - in spelling, grammar and punctuation - which could have been avoided with some diligent editing; this drags down my rating of this book by a star.

Poor to nil editing

Very informative book let down by poor/nil editing. I am reviewing the Kindle edition, I don't know if the print edition is better edited. Every paragraph has grammatical errors, every page has multiple spelling mistakes. It gets tedious to overlook all these errors and takes a great effort to finish the book because of the poor editing. I don't know how the book was accepted for publishing as it is. The last line of a chapter reads : happy leaning and investing. The author meant to write happy learning. Imagine encountering multiple such errors on every page, in every paragraph.
I am tired of my own rant now!
