Huck Savage used to think he was a pretty awesome TV personality. Nowadays, though, he’s just schlepping around the country pretending to find evidence of the supernatural and, wow, is he done doing that. But quitting without a fallback or even a vague plan isn’t something he can handle.
Everything changes when Huck discovers two Bigfoot in flagrante delicto who then decide to include Huck in their fiery passions. And not only is that the best he’s ever known, he’s also feeling loved better than ever before. So he gets his Bigfoot lovers a mobile phone and comes back to them whenever he can get away from the next shoot.
And then Huck and the crew of Prowl’s Is It Out There? show find themselves in Baker, Idaho, on the Rebecca Merz Nature Reserve to do a show about Bigfoot. Huck’s are well aware of the community near Baker and so meet Huck there. But there’s more the Baker than any of them realize and maybe, just maybe, that could be where they all make their new home.
Telling family and friends where they’re going to live requires a road trip that ends up being a car chase when a very unhappy fan refuses to allow Huck to get away with keeping the truth about Bigfoot a secret from the world. Can these three shake off her interest and finally have the happy ending they deserve?
Double Bigfoot Trouble includes two Bigfoot and one human man, outdoor shenanigans, sneaking around, found family, a roadtrip, evading capture, one disgruntled fan, and a reunion of previous Is It Out There? show hosts, Clark and Max, who'll meet Ramsey, Vaughn, and Huck—and all of their supernatural mates.
(DNF@15%) I was not sure what exactly to expect from this but gay threesome involving two bigfoots sounded interesting. I realize this was purposefully written on the fast and loose side of things but it really wasn't up my alley.
The relationship between Huck, the human, and bigfoots, Lorne and Saber, was too instalust/instalove, sex scenes (two in two chapters I read) weren't particularly steamy and there was very little substance to the overall plot. I just found every single aspect of the story lacking with uninteresting cardboard characters. Nothing worth continuing this story for nor giving the rest of the series a chance.
“I can’t lose you two,” Huck said, turning to bury his face in Saber’s neck. Lorne rubbed up and down Huck’s bare thigh. “Then you won’t.” “But in two days we’re done filming, and I’ll have to leave.”
At this point they've known each other for the total of 1 hour max, have exchanged maybe 20 sentences and had sex two times already.
Themes: single POV, human/bigfoot, threesome, instalust/instalove
This is book 3 in the Bigfoot series, all of which can be read as stand-alones, but are better read in order as there are overlapping secondary characters throughout. The first half of this book was like 98% Bigfoot/Bigfoot/human sex. It was just a bit much. There was finally some conflict later in the story, but I was super disappointed that the author had Huck having a texting conversation while driving an RV. Not cool. It was nice to see the reunion with the other characters in the monster stories at the end.
This was very cute. I love these Bigfoot stories as they’re just so sweet to read. They’re low angst, fluffy and about finding the community that accepts you (I love how the Bigfoot community takes people in so willingly and lovingly). It’s also always fun to see people from past stories (I hate to pick favourites but Max and Sal always make me so happy!).
Seemed like Lorne and Saber were kind of a couple before Huck since Huck caught Lorne giving a bj to Saber, but they’d had fun with other humans before too.
I tried to read the summary but it didn’t make sense to me for half of it. There were quite a few typos like break instead of brake for example. Then there were spots where words are missing in sentences and I had to reread a couple times.
DP scene twice. Saber said he wanted to be sucked off while Lorne f*cked Huck 2 weeks before meeting (chapter 5) and then in chapter 6 it says Saber f*cks him while Lorne sucks him.
It was entertaining overall but it was mostly just a lot of smut in a short book. Saw some characters from previous books, but only briefly. Mostly just triad/threesome with 1 human male and 2 Bigfoot. 3 out of 5 stars?
Delaney Rain is quickly become one of my favorite authors.
In this final installment (maybe?) of the Bigfoot series we find Huck, the 3rd host of Prowl networks Is It Out There? show meeting two Bigfoot in the woods and having an instant connection to the two. It's a fun quick read and I loved Huck's Bigfoot. They both and great personalities. Although be warned that if you don't want to find out to what happened to the other two hosts you'll need to read the these in the order listed below as there's a spoiler at the end of this book.
The Red Dragon's Mate The Demon's Mate For Fur's Sake Double Bigfoot Trouble
I'd definitely recommend reading in order since there are a lot of overlapping characters and a whole 'verse that these books all share. I enjoyed this one, it's fun that the author has a mmm bigfoot book now!
It's low angst, fluff, sweetness, and steam. I love Delaney's monster books. I do agree with some others that the plot seemed especially low on this one haha but it's still makes for a fun erotic romance!
This series by Delaney Rain has more supernatural creatures with every story. This time it’s Huck, another new host for the paranormal show and the two bigfoot that fall in love with him. Lots of outdoor activities and a reunion with characters from previous volumes. Low angst but lots of fun
3.5 but I rounded up because the epilogue was awesome! We got to meet and catch up with the characters from the previous books but also from the author's other works! :)
More than one in a relationship is always hard but it worked here, lol. This was also too fast for me, almost no relationship development so that was a bit disheartening.
I absolutely enjoyed this mmm book. Two hot Bigfoot and a human. The heat was immense, which I really liked. The plot was okay. Not much angst, but hurt/comfort, found family and a HEA. It was well written, and if you've read the other Bigfoot books, you know what's going on. Definitely going to read it again. Therefore 5 stars.
Great final installment to the bigfoot mate trilogy! I enjoyed this one more than the last one, and while the fact that there were twice the bigfoot mates helped, it's also because I just loved the dynamic of Huck figuring out what he really wants - his normal life and a career vs. the love of his bigfoot.
It's a fun, silly little story about a guy who, dissatisfied with his work as a paranormal investigator, falls in lust, then in love, with two Bigfoots (Bigfeet?). There's a little world building but the book very much knows what the audience is here for and delivers pretty quickly. My only gripe as someone who enjoys footplay is that this book features absolutely none of that here, but I still very much enjoyed regardless.
