**THIS BOOK HAS BEEN RE-EDITED** When Cassey Emerson graduated high school 3 years ago, she packed her bags and left the dusty trailer park she called home in the rear view mirror. This is the first book I have read of Tamsyn’s and it will not be the last.
Cassey Emerson did not have the best childhood. Once She graduated High School she packed her bags and left the trailer home she had known her whole life. Since she left 3 yrs ago, she has worked herself into a career she loves as an Publishing Assistant at Knight Media. She is loving her job. Her life is slowly coming together with the dreams that she had for herself.

"He became my drug of choice, and I'd gone so far out on a limb with my feelings that I didn't know I was out there alone."

Cassey, even though she did not have the best childhood, she is one strong independent woman. She has her head on her shoulders and knows what she wants out of life. After being raised by parents who could of cared less that they had her. She vowed to never settle for any less that what she deserved out of life. That is until the day that Kyler Knight Son of her boss walks into the company.

Kyler Knight, is young, rich and the heir to the multi-million dollar fortune that is known as ‘Knight Media’ – the biggest and most successful media company in Chicago. When his dad decides it is time for Kyler to learn the ropes as successor, he didn’t think it would include working with someone like Cassey Emerson.

Kyler was sex on a stick. He was not looking for a relationship. He lived his life and the woman he chose to be with knew right up front what was going to happen with no strings attached. He knew what he wanted from the moment he set his eyes on Cassey and he was going to stop at nothing to get what he wanted.

Is Kyler trying to win Cassey over to become another notch on his bed post? Or did Kyler think Cassey was different from all the other girls he had been with?

Will Cassey cave into Kyler? Can she have a no strings attached relationship? Or will Cassey want more?

I liked how the attraction between these two was tested. I loved how Kyler’s parents were so involved in the story as well. This was a fun quick read. It definitely kept me turning the pages, because I had to find out what was going to happen next.

"Every once in our lifetime, we meet someone who sets us on fire, and the only thing that will douse that flame is if we give in even if it's just for one night."

This book started with a bang--literally! (Well, sort of. You'll have to read it to see what I mean.) It took off from there and was a quick and steamy read--definitely for 18 and up, though. Decent characters--Kyler in particular had some good lines, both out loud and internal.

However, the writing felt...unfinished. A lot of what the characters said and did felt much younger than they were supposed to be--still in college/high school instead of people already working in their chosen career. Their reactions to situations often also didn't seem to jive with their supposed level of maturity. There were more than a few very convenient coincidences, which made things almost a little too easy for the characters, paired with some other situations where the drama felt more manufactured than real.

It wasn't a bad book, but the writing could definitely use some polish.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this book.
The characters were awesome except for Jessa, couldn't stand her.
I absolutely loved Kylar. he was just awesome.
Cassey was the perfect match for him.
I liked her as well. This was a wonderful story about trust, love, loss, commitment, struggles, and learning to fight.
Thanks for a great read.

Sigh.
I don't know what happened with this one, I really don't.

Beneath Your Beautiful was good, with some editing errors--but still a great read. Precious consequences was fantastic (still with a couple of errors, but considerably less than Beneath Your Beautiful) I absolutely loved it. But Destined to Fall...

It felt like the editing/formatting progress went backwards. Was there editing done on this one at all? For God's Sake, I really hate to lower ratings due to editing mistakes, but it was so distracting in this book, I really feel like I have no choice. There was punctuation errors again, (either missing or used incorrectly) but by far the most irritating thing about the editing on this was the fact that I had to keep guessing at who was supposed to be speaking. THERE IS A RETURN KEY FOR A REASON: when the speakers change there is this idea that you hit the return key for a new paragraph so your readers can tell that there is a change of speakers instead of leaving them to guess (because honestly, if it's the wrong guess, it could change the entire perception of a situation and/or character).

Ex:
"Nice to hear from you too mom. What have you done this time?" "Borrowed money from the wrong people, and now your daddy and I are in a pickle." (54%)

How it would have been if edited:
"Nice to hear from you too, Mom. What have you done this time?"
"Borrowed money from the wrong people, and now your daddy and I are in a pickle."

As for speakers, this one's a pretty easy guess, but that doesn't change how distracting it is to decipher it. This is why professional editors have jobs, so they can catch these kind of mistakes and fix it before the books gets published.

Anyway, there was some pretty good things about this one too. The main character was pretty cool, she wasn't weak by any means and it was nice to read a heroine that wasn't jumping into shit before thinking about the consequences. There was definitely improvement on how the characters were developed, the men in particular were much more believable for one. Kyler was a little controlling, but some guys are like that, so I suppose that's okay.

Rating: three stars, should have been 3.5 or 4 if the editing was fixed up a bit. Hopefully, the next books by Ms. Bester will be.

4.5 stars!

I first discovered this book when I saw the Cover Reveal on the author's Facebook page! I thought the cover was smoking hot, so I really wanted to read the story behind it! I then read the synopsis and knew I needed to read it, so when I saw the author offering e-ARCs, I quickly signed up! I have also read one of this author's other books and I really enjoyed it, so I was excited to read this one! This book was amazing! I loved it! The plot was sexy, with some twist and turns to keep it interesting! I was sucked right into the plot from the first page! It was soooo good and I read this book in two sittings! The plot was like a few other books I've read before, but the author did add her own twists to it to make it different! I have to admit that I wasn't expecting the twist and turns in this book! I was obviously expecting some, but not the ones that were in the book! I like being surprised though! The plot also had plenty of seriously hot and steamy scenes, which were SO hot! I also loved that there were loads of them lol! I hate to bring this up because I read an unedited ARC, but there were so many grammar errors in this book that I actually found it a bit hard to read! There were words spelt wrong as well! I tried so hard to ignore them and I really hope they're all fixed in the final version! The characters were amazing! Cassey was the main female character and I just loved her! She was so genuine and such a normal, everyday person! I also liked how she played her love interest at his own game! Cassey was never a shy character in this book, but at the end she was so kick-ass when she was dealing with Jessa, a woman who tried to put the moves on Kyler! I connected with Cassey the whole time I was reading this book, which I was really happy about because she was such a good character! Kyler was the main male character and he was seriously hot! As soon as he entered a room, every woman turned to look at him! I also loved the way he was with Cassey! The two of them wanted a "friends with benefits" type relationship, but obviously, that didn't last for long ;) My heart did go out to Kyler when he went through a very difficult family situation in this book! My heart broke for him! I loved that this book was written from both Cassey and Kyler's point of view as it made it more interesting and also a certain length of this book focused more on a situation in Kyler's life than Cassey's, but Cassey was still there! I'm kinda annoyed that this book is a standalone lol! I loved reading Cassey and Kyler's story! Their story did end beautifully though and it had a Happy Ever After, which I loved! I'm super happy with how it ended for all the characters as well! As I said, the cover is smoking hot! I instantly wanted to read the story behind it as soon as I saw it and what a story it was! The model on the front really suits the description of Cassey as well! Big thank you to Tamsyn for an ARC of Destined To Fall!

An engaging novel of a smart business woman who overcomes her past.
Cass is a self driven character. Determined to show the world she has come far past her childhood in the trailer park and neglectful parents. Her strength and determination will draw you into her story.
She is embarrassed and keeps her past hidden from most people. Especially her parents, they only call when they need her to send them money. Torn between helping the people who neglected her and letting them do without drug money, is a moral dilimina she has to face.
A man was not on her agenda or in her goal setting plans. Until she meets Kyler. She wants him, but believes she needs to deny herself to keep herself safe emotionally and professionally.
Kyler is not one to take no for an answer. This character is not your typical Alpha male. He is compassionate and seems ready to settle down. Going from playboy to heading his father’s corporation, he does a complete turn around.
Cass is what he wants. He explains it in detail to her, in a way that leaves her breathless.

“I want to do every ungodly thing imaginable to that tight little body of yours, and leave you utterly breathless. I want to be buried so deep inside you that there is no way of knowing where my body ends and yours begins. And no, it won’t be for just one night, because once I taste you, once I’ve been between your legs, I’ll want more of you, and you’ll want more of me.” ~Kyler to Cass expressing his desire for her.

Cass is not so easy. She’s worked too hard to get where she is and won’t destroy it for any man. Even though Kyler is doing things to make her hot!
She has a relationship with her employer, Kyler’s parents, that is unusual. They adore her and have taken her into their hearts. She looks at them as the parents she wished she had all along. Having Sunday lunch with them she is surprised when Kyler shows up…he’s never been there before.
His motives become clear soon enough.

“We’re at your parents house. It’s disrespectful.” (Cass)
“No,” he replies, holding my chin with his hand. “The things I want to do to you are disrespectful.” ~Cass trying to thwart Kyler’s advances.

This is a heartwarming storyline with characters that will have you smiling and hurting for them. You will be drawn into the story.

*ARC received from the author in exchange for my honest review.

From reading the blurb I knew I would like this book, even though it is not an original plotline, it was an enjoyable read with likeable characters you wanted to learn more about. Oh and intermingled with a whole lot of smut and sex – yes this was a book made for me! It’s the classic tale of girl from wrong side of the tracks meets boy born with a silver spoon in his mouth, well sort of.

Cassey has had to do a whole lot of growing up to do coming from a trailer park with parents whose only concern is getting their next drug fix. So she pulled herself out of the gutter and worked her way into a publishing career at the mighty Knight Media. She has an amazing boss who sees the promise in her and takes her under his wing. But then he brings in his son Kyler to work towards taking over the Knight conglomerate. Then things start to hot up with her new boss, Mr Knight, jnr.

Kyler Knight is a total player in the media spotlight and has women swooning at his feet but he knows himself it’s time to take on responsibility at the family business which brings him in contact with the little hellcat that is Cassey Emerson.

Cassey is a strong female lead and that’s exactly what I like to find. She doesn’t take no shit from anyone, well after living with parents like she had, she has learnt to develop a second skin and not let anyone push her around. She has been single for over a year so when she comes face to face with her new sexy alpha boss man, Kyler, her reaction is to be expected. But I liked that she played it cool and made Kyler do the chasing.

Kyler is the typical sexy rich and alpha tooting specimen of a man and instantly a love button magnate for the reader. I like the bit of angst that is brought in with the ‘has been’ hanger on Jessa causing havoc for the budding romance. Although both Kyler and Cassey initially started out as a casual hook up, their feelings changed and the lines not to be crossed got a little blurred until they eventually got erased.

This was a fairly short (ish) read for me and it kept me entertained on a freezing cold Sunday afternoon. The hot factor certainly kept me fanning myself. There were some areas where things happened a little too convenient and some of the behaviours a little immature but I didn’t let that detract me from enjoying this steamy read. It felt more of a New Adult genre rather than Adult contemporary. It has definite adult scenes though! Yum!

So overall a good enjoyable four star read for me.

ARC copy provided for an honest review.

This book might be my guilty pleasure because it got all the reasons to make me hate it, but I loved it. I really enjoyed reading it from the first scene. It captured me and didn’t let me free until the end of the book. The writing style is perfect. I really loved it the most in this book.

Cassey is a sweet girl who worked hard to be in a good place after living her entire life in a trailer park with shity parents. She wants to stay in the place she worked hard to get. She is perfect. Something that I loved about Cassey that she didn’t forgive her parents who had done the worst job to be parents. It felt so natural to me because everyother story they always gives a great example about how to forgive even when people hurt you. Cassey didn’t, and I respect her for this.

Kyler is a total womanizer who changes after meeting Cassey. He wants her and even when his dad told him no, he did it anyway. I didn’t like Kyler so much; I felt he was so cliché and that he was pushed. I didn’t feel anything he felt, and I didn’t understand him.

For the secondary characters; I loved all of them; except Jesse. They were written in a beautiful way. Even Drew was written in an amazing way; I felt his ego. It gave the story bad characters between all the angels. I would like to love Jesse, every story needs the villain, but she was also pushed. She didn’t feel natural jealous ex, but I felt that the author done a very hard job to make her that, and she failed. I love Quinn and her boyfriend. They were nice touches to the story.

Here are the things I didn’t like about this book. The characters weren’t well developed; I felt that they were pushed to love each other. Kyler’s personality weren’t that great; it wasn’t natural, I felt that the author has done a hard job to get him to be like that, unlike Cassey who was so natural to me. I found some scenes in the books that resembles to Beautiful Bastard, I know that might be okay for some, but I don’t like it when I find scenes in the books that resembles to any other book.

Overall the book was good, and I enjoyed it as I said it is my guilty pleasure. I hope you like it more than I did

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Cassey Emerson grew up with a rough life in a trailer park with her awful parents. Fast forward years later, after a lot of hard work, she left that behind and is now a publishing assistant at Knight Media. The day Cassey meets the heir to the Knight Media throne, Kyler Knight, sparks fly. The attraction between them can be felt immediately. This was such a great story and I enjoyed it from beginning to end.

Kyler Knights is more than your typical womanizer. Not only is he handsome, but he is a hard worker and goes after everything and everyone he wants. I love that this story has a strong female lead. She is intelligent, resilient and knows what she wants out of life. Finally a female lead that I can truly relate to. This story was more than your average fall for your boss story. It was heartwarming, genuine, and truly a great story. The chemistry between Cassey and Kyler is undeniable. While they seem to have a friends with benefits arrangement going on, it turns in to so mudh more.

With love, there is also drama and heartache. Cassey and Kyler were no exception. There were some twists and turns in the story I was not expecting. It was refreshing to read a story like this one in that the storyline was different than what is out there. Watching Cassey and Kyler surrender to their feelings was beautiful. Love was never easy for either, but together it made sense. I love the underlying message of this story. That with love all things are possible. In all things choose love. Cassey and Kyler are proof of that.

I really loved that this book was written in both Cassey and Kyler's point of views. It allowed me to connect to them on a deeper level. It also gave us a lot of insight into their feelings about each other. I enjoyed the writing style, as the story flowed nicely and it was very easy to keep up with the dual povs as it went back and forth.

I am hoping that their story continues. While this book is a standalone, I don't feel like their story is finished and would love to know what happens to Cassey and Kyler. If you are looking for a sweet and steamy romance, then this is for you.

Kyler's mind is something else, "my mind unwillingly drifts back to Quinn's friend. Why the eff can't I remember her name? Dammit. Maybe I should try and see her again?" Cassey that girl has no problems giving Kyler sass, "don't eff with me, Kyler," I whisper harshly. "I don't have time for your games, and I sure as s*** don't want to be another notch on your bedpost." Kyler has issues waking up alone, "well, Ms. Emerson," I grind out. "It is urgent. You weren't in my bed when I woke up this morning, and it's a problem." Kyler likes to make sure his terms and conditions are met, "the only term and condition I need is that I get to eff you whenever, and wherever the mood strikes, and you of course have the same privilege." I love the relationship between Kyler and Cassey:
"That's good," I reply, giving him a cheeky grin. "Because I happen to think you have a very sexy a**."
"I know," he grins. "You've left quite a few nail marks for me to find."
I always love reading Tamsyn's book so it was no surprise that I fell in love with this one right off.

**I was given this ARC for an honest review**

I absolutely loved this book! It was a cute type of a romance story. Boy sees girl, girl disses boy, boy wants girl and tries anything he can do to get her. There was some comedy, some sassiness, and some ups and downs.

My favorite character was Quinn, the main character's Cassie best friend. She was so sassy and didn't take sas from anyone.

The main character Cassie grew up in a trailer with horrible parents. She was determined that after high school she would go to college, get a great job, and never look back. She made it and loved her life. That is when she met the son of the owner of her job Kyler. He is a little bit of a man-whore and he sets his eyes on her. The only problem is that Cas doesn't do one night stands. She wants a true life happily ever after.

I couldn't put this book down. I literally read it in less than a day. Once I started I was determined to see how their story ended. This book is a must read and Tamsyn did a great job!

Overall this is a great story it has it laugh out loud moments and the OMG moments! I definitely recommend!

Kyler ~ Where can I find my own? Seriously he is just THE dream guy! From the get go he knows what he wants and doesn't let anything hold him back. Even when it seemed he wasn't going to get through to Cassey, he still persuaded her to his way of thinking. And even though I was slightly mad at him at one point I loved how he was able to uncover the truth and then he went back after her.

Cassey ~ She is so strong-willed and independent, she doesn't let where she come from keep her down instead she uses it to her benefit! I loved how she dealt with everything, instead of acting like a prissy, whining girl she dealt with it as a mature woman! Oh and I loved her little pissing on Kyler moment!

Till next time ~ Sweets Books

Was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this book and so glad I did.

Loved the chemistry between Kyler and Cassie, steamy and well written. I like the fact that Cassie enjoys her independence and wants to stand on her own two feet. Also Kyler is a strong male but, happily, not an over bearing alpha as in some books of a similar nature.

Will write an updated review with more of the plot once the book is released in the 10 jan 2014. Definitely worth a read!

I found this book for free on Amazon and through I would give this author a try. The writing was ok and the book is written in alternating pov's.

Cassey is working for Knight Media, she has worked hard to escape her upbringing from a trailer park with barely there parents who continually call her for money. She meets Kyler Knight when he comes to work for his father, owner of the company and the attraction between them is instant. Even though there is a no fraternization policy in the company they begin a friends with benefits relationship. This turns into love and they get their HEA. Basically a simple read with not a lot of drama.

Amazing! I absolutely loved this book and read it in a day. Kyler was the perfect mixture of sweet and sexy, and Cassey was a great match for him. Their characters were real, raw and relatable.
If you enjoy a steamy romance, I would highly recommend this book. You will not be disappointed!

Review:

Destined to Fall is Cassey and Kyler's love story. Cassey has had a rough life and not a happy childhood. She has a job that enjoys and she vowed to never settle for anything that what she truly deserved. But meeting her boss' son was not in Cassey's plans, neither having a mind-blowing dream with him even before she saw him and later feel an impossible to deny attraction to him.
Kyler Knight is rich, handsome, with a bright future ahead thanks to his dad's company, Knight Media, and partially single. When his dad thinks that is time for Kyler to learn all about the company, he starts to work at Knight Media. But he wasn't expecting to see Cassey Emerson. And it's not easy to stay away, even if his dad said to him to not sleep with her, when he has to work with her.
Cassey's afraid to start something with Kyler and be someone else in his long list of hookups, but when the tension between them is too much, she accepts whatever she can have with the charming Kyler. They start a hot relationship, not strings attached, no feelings involved, but exclusive. But they were not counting on their own feelings, buried deep down, for one another. They are both afraid to say the forbidden words, afraid to loose what they have going on and stop the fantasy. However, life goes on and has plans of its own. Problems start to arise and threatening their possible future together.

This story is what a like to call a hot romance story. The main character, Cassey is a strong woman. You read about her past life and you admire her for being able to leave everything behind and start from zero, in a new town, without anything and without any family support. You simply like her for being so brave and you can also tell by reading her side of the story that she's a good person and easy to relate to.
Kyler is one of those hot, rich and womanizer guy that we love to read about. He's the perfect representation of a rich boy who doesn't look down other people because of their lack of money and that earned him a lot of points to be in my Fictional Boy's List. You can also read his point of view throughout the whole story and it's nice to see the change in their relationship between the two perspectives. Kyler has a lot to deal with and you can perfectly see when his relationship with Cassey starts to be something more and you just want to squeak and jump like a crazy book addict.

What I wanted to say that I hate about the character's behavior from the story (NOT that I hate the story! Never that!) is how Drew treats Cassey. I just wanted to punch him in the face and ask Quinn how she would think this guy was worth Cassey's time.
And I despised Drew's mother attitude. She scowls at Cassey for not being a rich girl. What? Yep. It gets to the level of wanting to punch the woman.
And the characters that won my heart were Kyler's parent. They are so cute and such good people that it's even hard to believe it. They really like Cassey and they treat her like a daughter.

As for the story, it was a truly enjoyable romance story. You can easily follow both points of view without losing track of anything or feeling lost. Both Kyler and Cassey are two characters easy to read and like. At the end of the story you can understand the title of the book perfectly and know why Tamsyn had to named it like that. It was not possible to make it more perfect.

Overall, I enjoyed so much Destined To Fall that I couldn't stop reading it until I knew how the relationship between these would end. It was addictive, hot and beyond romantic. And that made me read the book in a few hours. So, yes, this is a must read story, one of those who make you stay up all night until you get to the last page. And that's why I'm giving this book four gorjuss dolls and highly recommending it to you, Book Addicts.

I just wanted to say thank you so much to Enna & Jennifer at Enticing Journey Book Promotions for letting me be part of this amazing tour and giving me the chance to read Tamsyn's new book. Also I have to thank Tamsyn, too, for writing such amazing stories and making me want to read more and more. Everything she writes becomes a mind-blowing and epic romance story and I don't need to read the synopsis of her following books to know that I am going to love it.

*I was given this ARC for an honest review and being part of the tour does not affect in any way what I think about the story.*

**KIM'S REVIEW**

Cassey lives with her best friend Quinn and is estranged from her good for nothing druggie parents. She had a rough upbringing but is determined to make something of herself. She is a publishing assistant at Knight Media and is slowly working her way up in the world. .

Robert Knight is bringing in his son, Kyler, to learn the ropes so he can take over once Robert retires. Cassey dreamed about Kyler before she even knew of him. So you can imagine her surprise when all of a sudden the man of her dreams is in the lobby of Knight Media. Robert asks Kyler to help Cassey get ready for a presentation but warns him to stay away from her. Kyler has a reputation for being a man whore and is infamous for one night stands.

“What was her name again? Great, a**h*le. You can picture bending her over your desk but you can’t remember her name?”

However these two have an instant attraction and you know them hooking up is inevitable.

“Every time I’ve walked into your office this past week, the sexual tension between the two of you even made me horny.” ~ Quinn

Cassey wants him but knows she should stay away from him. She doesn’t want to end up as another notch on Kyler’s bedpost.

“You’re here with another woman, and to put it simply, you’ve just told me you want to f*ck me.”

But Kyler will do anything and everything to make sure they hook up.

“Tell me what I have to do…to get you in my bed and beneath me.” ~ If I were Cassey he wouldn’t even have to ask! ;)

Now Quinn is moving in with her boyfriend and Cassey needs to finds a new place to live. Kyler ends up finding her an apt. but she needs to stay with him for a week before she can move in. First night at Kyler’s apt. and I’m sure you can guess what happens. They end up deciding to be friends with benefits but once one starts to feel more for the other they will end it.

Well we all know how that goes! Also did I mention Kyler’s ex-fling who doesn’t quite understand what the words “we are over” mean? You know there’s going to be drama! But will Cassey be able to deal with it?

“The question is, which one will win out – my head or my heart?”

Even though Cassey was initially scared of Kyler’s intentions, I’m glad it didn’t take her to long to give into him. Kyler knew from the beginning that Cassey was different than the other girls he had been with. He always told himself when he found the one he would know. He just knew he couldn’t let her go. I loved how determined he was to be with her and would not take no for an answer.

I honestly would’ve given this book a higher rating but there were a couple holes in the story and the ending was rushed. However, I still really enjoyed it and finished it within 3-4 hours. I think you all should read it and find out if Kyler will be the kind of love that Cassey wants in her life.

Cassey lives with her best friend Quinn and is estranged from her good for nothing druggie parents. She had a rough upbringing but is determined to make something of herself. She is a publishing assistant at Knight Media and is slowly working her way up in the world. .

Release Date: January 6th 2014
Print Length: 163 pages

Overall Rating: 4 Stars

Cassey has worked her ass off for the last few years and has tried hard to put her past behind her. She has come along way from her broken down trailer and shitty parents. She loves her job and won’t let anything get in her way of making something of herself at Knight Media.

Kyler Knight is smoking hot, the kind of guy that when he walks in a room he has all the women drooling and he knows it. He has always lived a playboy lifestyle until he is forced to grow up and take responsibility when his father starts grooming him to take over Knight Media.

His first day at Knight Media he runs into Cassey and the connection between these two is instantaneous. Not to mention hot as hell.
Kyler is used to getting what he wants and oh boy does he want Cassey.

Tell me what I have to do, to get you in my bed and beneath me

I loved Cassey’s character and really connected with her. She was strong, Independent and very likeable. She knew what she wanted and wasn’t afraid to fight to get it. I admired her determination and attitude the whole book. Plus she had such a good heart, even after being told growing up that she wasn’t worth anything, she still didn’t let that keep her down. She wants to try and be friends with Kyler, but is friendship enough?

Our relationship remains undefined, but in this moment, I don’t care

Another thing I really loved about this book is the relationship between Casey and her
Best friend Quinn. They were really more like sisters and had such a great bond. I have to
Say Quinn really added a lot to this book for me. She was an amazing secondary
Character and I freaking loved her. She was loyal to a fault when it came to Cassey and
Would kick some serious ass if anyone tried to mess with her. I really related to their
Friendship, you could feel the love these girls had for each other.

Every once in our lifetime, we meet someone who sets us on fire, and the only thing that will douse the flame is if we give in, even if it’s just for one night

Will Cassey and Kyler be able to work together and remain just friends? Or will Kyler be able to use his charm to persuade Cassey into something more?

I realize that this moment, with me and Kyler, was inevitable. It was never my choice. I was always destined to fall

I really liked how the book was written in both Cassey and Kyler’s point of view it allowed us to really get inside their heads. There were several twists to the book, some were expected and some I didn’t see coming. There were also some really smoking hot sex scenes, that’s always a plus in a book for me. Overall this was a really good read and I would definitely recommend it.

*I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review*

This is the first book that I’ve read from Tamsyn and I didn't read the synopsis to this book, so I didn’t know what to exactly to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. I really enjoyed this book. It was a quick read but it was sweet, with a little angst, and some hot scenes.

“I want this man, in a bad way. I want him to take to me, any way he pleases and satisfy the visceral desire that’s coursing through my veins.”

Cassey is pretty, smart, and hardworking. She comes from a small town in Georgia but she doesn't want to be associated with her past. Her parents neglected her and made her feel like she was worthless. They talked down to her, used her, and never showed her love. She’s worked hard to prove them wrong and to seek out a better future for herself. Working as a publishing assistant at Knight Media, she has a great job and good friends but she’s a lonely since her last relationship. When she meets Kyler Knight, her boss’s son, they share instant chemistry.

“So you see Cass, I know you.” I see the things you think no one else notices, and I can feel how your body responds to mine when I’m in the same, when I’m in the same room. Because I react the same way when you’re close to me.”

Kyler, is rich, smart, sexy, and he wants Cassey. Kyler is being groomed to take over his father’s company and the two have to start working closely together. He doesn't normally do relationships, it’s not his style but something about Cassey draws him to her and the fact that she is feisty, with both beauty and brains attracts him even more. Cassey doesn't want to be another conquest for Kyler but their attraction is strong.

I want to do every ungodly thing imaginable to that tight little body of yours, and leave you utterly breathless. I want to buried so deep inside you that there is no way of knowing where my body ends and yours begins. And no, it won’t be for just one night because once I taste you….I’ll want more of you, and you’ll want more of me.”

I love the banter between these two. Neither gave up or gave in easily and they were so hot together! I wanted them to get together so badly but I wasn’t sure how it would all play out with them. There were some twist and turns in this story that I honestly didn’t see coming and it both helped add some angst and drama. Cassey’s best friend Quinn and Kyler’s parents were also some great characters. I thought the ending was really sweet. This is sweet stand alone and I look forward to reading more of Tamsyn’s books.

We gave this book 5 stars.
This review was left by Tia Blakey a book worms reviewer.

This is Cassey and Kyler's book.

Synopsis:
When Cassey Emerson graduated high school 3 years ago, she packed her bags and left the dusty trailer park she called home in the rear view mirror. Since then, she has worked hard to give herself the life, and career, that she always dreamed of. As the Publishing Assistant at Knight Media, her dreams are slowly but surely coming true…

But something is missing…

Kyler Knight is young, rich and the heir to the multi-million dollar fortune that is known as ‘Knight Media’ – the biggest and most successful media company in Chicago. When his father decides it’s time for Kyler to learn the ropes as successor, he didn’t think it would include working with someone like Cassey Emerson.

Their attraction is immediate and Kyler is everything Cassey should stay away from. He can’t give her what she wants, but that doesn’t stop him from pursuing her. When one passionate night changes everything, Cassey must decide whether or not she can accept what Kyler is offering, or walk away from how he makes her feel.

Suddenly, things change, lines are blurred, hearts are broken and Cassey is left to pick up the pieces after her hot, steamy relationship with Kyler becomes so much more…
Can she move forward or was she always destined to fall?

My feelings on the book---

I liked the book a lot. The book held a lot of emotion and that is one of the things that I loved about it. The build up to Cassey and Kyler was great.
I loved Kyler's parents as well as Quinn.
Quinn was a rockstar for Cassey. I felt in the beginning that Kyler was kinda arrogant but redeemed himself especially when his dad got sick he totally stepped up.
I reread the book again and enjoyed it a lot more.

I give this book 4.9 out of 5 because I wanted to know what happened to Jessa and Drew because I thought that they should get theirs in the end. I was glad that Quinn and Jarred got back together.

Thank you for a great book that I really loved, I cannot wait to read more from you. And like I said I re-read this one, I might just go ahead and do that again. It was an excellent read.

4 Sweet Sizzling Stars

5 Sizzling Hearts for Heat!!

This book has a ton of things going on. Layers of emotional depth. While it had a slight fantasy (Cinderella) edge to it, it still kept me smiling and rooting for Cassie and Kyler. Sweet Romance that kept me flipping the pages
[image error]

Cassie had a pretty tough upbringing and fought and scrambled to get herself away from her past. Two parents who never did anything but create her, still find ways to make her feel unloved and unwanted.

Kyler wants to fill in the shoes of the one man who he idolizes, his father. Then suddenly those shoes are in front of him empty. The pain and heartbreak he suffers is only healed by the love of Cassie.

Great secondary characters fill this book with amazing scenes. Cassie's BFF Quin is the highlight of this book. She is the most loyal friend ever. She steps up in so many ways to show she has Cassie's back throughout this story and she is funny ..so funny.
My favorite part

Girl Fight!!

She showed the crazy EX of Kyler's who was boss. This deranged woman caused way to many problems in this story. I had some moments of WTF?? where things were never explained but in the end it all worked out.

Cassie and Kyler were explosive and the loves scenes were so hot.

Kyler pulls out, and then slams back into me. I cry out, craving more an more of him. “This. Is. Me.” Kyler grunts. “Claiming.You.”

YES Kyler has is ALPHA moments!! Loved him

The romance of this story just brought tears to my eyes in so many ways. Two people fighting a forbidden love but won in the end. Kyler and Cassie were meant to happen and I felt like cheering when they got their HEA

Thank you Tamsyn for offering the opportunity to review this sweet story.

I really enjoyed this authors other books so reading Destined to Fall was a no brainer for me! I am a sucker for a hot alpha male so I knew Kyler would be right up my alley and holy hotness...was he ever!! Tamsyn has definitely turned up the heat on this one and is letting her freaky/sexy side come out to play!

DTF is the story or Cassey and Kyler. Two people who have been raised under very different circumstances. Cassey grew up in a run down trailer park with neglectful drug addicts for parents whereas Kyler was raised in a very wealthy and loving home with parents who dote on and adore him. These two meet when Kyler comes in to work at his father's company which also happens to be where Cassey is employed. Cassey has worked very hard to get out of the trailer park and has made a life and a name for herself that she is proud of. When the two of them are paired together on a work project, the sparks FLY and the sexual tension is so strong you could use it to build a wall that would support a 2 story house! Seriously...these two are drawn to each other like moths to a flame.

Cassey finds herself fighting their attraction because she doesn't want to jeopardize her job and she knows that Kyler is not into relationships and only wants her for sex. Fortunately for us they aren't able to fight their attraction for very long and we get to see what happens when these two finally submit to their desires:) UNfortunately it takes them a little while before they realize they are meant for each other and for Kyler to see just how much Cassey means to him.

I also have to mention how much I adored Cassey's relationship with her best friend, Quinn. These two are like sisters and I loved how close and there for each other they were. I also had quite a few giggles at Quinn and her comments. Girl tells it like it is and doesn't care. Gotta love that!

This book evoked all of my emotions that tell me when a book is good. I got mad, I was happy, I cried, I squirmed a little in my seat a couple of times and I laughed. If you are looking for a nice steamy read with a HEA then this is the book for you! I highly recommend it and can't wait to see what this author comes out with next.

I really enjoyed this book by Tamsyn Bester. This is the first of her books that I have read and will definitely read more from her. The story was really great and grabs you from the beginning, but there were a few unanswered questions, items that made this a four star read instead of a five star.

We meet Cassey who is working her way up at a publishing firm, when she wakes up from a hot dream about a guy she has never met, and then runs into him the same day at work to find out that it is Kyler Knight, her new boss. Now first I would have thought she knew Kyler, but how she dreamt about him before knowing him is never explained, and I just don’t understand.

I love Cassey and her character, she has not let her childhood and past define who she is and she is a successful woman, and stronger than anyone I know who would have come from the same situations she is in. Her best friend Quinn, OMG I loved her, she is a fierce woman and an amazing best friend. Quinn keeps telling Cassey she needs to get laid, and sees the attraction between Cassey and Kyler. Problem is Cassey doesn’t want to be another notch in Kyler’s bed post and she also doesn’t want to sleep with her boss.

I loved Kyler and Cassey’s attraction and relationship with each other. As much as Cassey didn’t want to like him, she did, and I loved how Kyler dealt with this. I.E. Kissing her in the office and walking away. I laughed out loud on that scene.

These two have one of those “insta-love” relationships that neither of them will admit, or act upon. When they end up in an arrangement of sorts, you see that these two really do belong with each other even if both of them are too stupid at times to admit it. (Thank god for Quinn!)

This story has everything, the drama, the crazy ex, douche bag guys trying to date Cassey, tears, happiness and Laugh Out Loud moments. I really enjoyed this story, heck I read it in one sitting, I just wish we would have had more answers, i.e the dream, more time with Kylers parents, etc. I really liked this book and will definitely read more by Tamsyn Bester in the future.
