I found all 4 of these books well written. What I do not like is the wrong word in the wrong place. Words are not misspelled, but they are the wrong word for the sentence. Author does great, publisher should be checking grammar mistakes!
The mis-typing of words detracts from an otherwise really good book
I really like this series. A lot. These authors write good books, and I admire what they've accomplished. I couldn't do it. But what I can do is read. And that's all it takes to catch the many words that are mis-typed. It seems like the authors used spell check, but spell check doesn't alert you to words that are mis-typed if the mis-typed words are also words (typing the word 'fried" instead of 'friend" for example, as in "I called my fried to check on her"). I'm sure this doesn't bother many people, and I wouldn't even comment on it had I noticed just one or two examples of the problem. It's every chapter. The hard part is writing a book. How hard is it to get someone to read the book with fresh eyes before it's published?
"Dragon Magic" is a great continuation of this series. It, like the previous titles, takes readers into new locations and introduces us to new lands and new cultures. At the same time, it deepens the plot and emotional stakes of the overall story. This is also the longest book of the series thus far.
There are a number of typos within this text. They're the reason why I'm giving this book a 4-Star rating, rather than a 5-Star rating. Several of the typos were actually distracting enough to yank me out of the story, and make me have to try and decipher what the authors had presumably meant to write.
Still, the plot and characters were terrific as has been the case with this entire series of books. Based purely upon that point, I must recommend reading "Dragon Magic".
Congratulations to Jada Fisher and K.L. Rienhart for this amazing series. It’s extremely hard to find such interesting and exciting authors who not only write intelligently but also provide top rated plots, characters and excitement in the stories. I’m really looking forward to the next book.
This is a great tale. Exciting, tense, and emotional, it draws you deep into the journey. I just wish there was not a wait for the next book. I will try to be patient. Keep working on the next book as much as you can so the wait is shortened. Thank you for the great story telling. ❤️
This is a very good tale, full of adventure and interesting characters that makes the reader want to travel into the next book. However, the books desperately need a more thorough editing. All of the misspelled or missing words and incorrect word usage was distracting
The bad guys seem to have more agents than the CIA and KGB combined and they keep popping up in all sorts of unlikely (and implausible) places. For me this weakens the plot and undermines the logic of the series.
Book 4. What more can I review. The authors have capturvated me again. I have a feeling I will enjoy your work now and any other endeavor you both present to me and my friends.
