Fall is the fourth book in The Blaze Legacy, a NA/Adult Dark Portal Romantasy series that is full of magic, mythical creatures, delicious tension, and spice that builds. It contains some explicit on-page content best suited for readers over the age of 18.
Author L.R. Friedman loves curling up with a cup of coffee while diving into her fantasy and paranormal romance worlds. She currently lives in Virginia with her husband and three children.
When she's not writing, you'll find her enjoying tacos, dark chocolate, and the occasional glass of whiskey.
The girl that grew up trying to find a magical realm hidden in her closet, L.R. Friedman hopes to transport readers to beautiful, sexy, dark and magical places through her stories.
There are so many things I gotta talk about. 1) Thank you to the author for sending me the earc! And sorry for reading and reviewing so late, th publishing date is on 21st while my exams starts on 20th. 2) WHAT DID I JUST READ??From 40 to 60% I was beging for action and then boom! I devoured the last part. The magic? The world building? THE EPILOGUE?? I dont know what to think of. I have been literally sobbing for the past few hours. I cant believe the plot twists. How that one character I thought was de villain is now suddenly my fave character and my precious angel Im sobbing. 3) The 5th book better come around quickly bc I cant stay alive like this. Is not a want, A NEED!!! I swear I love the way L.R. Friedman writes.
Epic book 4. Gri€f, healing, growth, friendship, found family, love. We’re starting to get a lot of answers that early Easter eggs left us with… can’t wait for the incredible ending coming this winter!
I have read and am obsessed with everything Lauren has written and Fall is no exception! The Blaze Legacy is one of my all time favorite fantasy series. The world building, the character growth, the romance and spice, the Easter eggs sprinkled throughout the whole series, and brutal cliffhangers make this one of the best series out there!
Fall is definitely my favorite of the series. We are left with such a brutal ending in Ascend and Fall was the perfect follow up. Lauren does amazing at balancing grief and brokenness with healing and hope. She knows all the characters so well and takes them on the exact journey they need to go on. All while writing deeply emotional and beautiful words. I highlighted so many great quotes as I was reading!
Kyleigh, Aislin, Sloan, Ox, Neve, and even Travis and the Enchantress had incredible storylines. But nothing can beat Redmond, who I have been rooting for ever since Scale when I realized he was more than he appeared to be. His character arc and growth has been so amazing to follow throughout the series.
I could go on and on, so I will just end this by saying READ THIS SERIES and do not miss Fall!!
I adore this book with all my heart. It’s no wonder LR is proud of this work, as she fully deserves to be. There’s so much growth here for every single person in our main cast, and so much exploration of the different ways that all of us heal. Characters are constantly coming to terms with how they acted and what they experienced in each of their own worst experiences over the last three books, and this book in many ways feels like it’s giving them breathing room. Space to work through all that’s been stuck in a nightmare state, and to accept others into the most vulnerable spots. There was so much character growth that when I finished and looked back at my notes from the beginning, I felt like I had… like there’s no way it could all be the same book, but it was. Beautifully written, full of emotion, and no holding back for any character, no matter what they’re after.
PTSD representation goes hard here which I appreciate so, so much. The world building is superb in filling in some gaps of things the audience (and some characters) did not previously know.
I haven’t stayed up to finish a book in a while, but this one had me in a chokehold. Thank you Lauren my wonderful friend for sharing your talent always.
“Could you wade through grief, or was it more like a ghost that haunted you wherever you went?”
“Love only left you one of three ways: broken, alone, or dead.”
I feel like crying! This book has the potential to become my favourite instalment in this wonderful and amazing series! After Ascend broke me into a thousand tiny pieces and stepped on my heart, I feel like Fall healed me in a way I was not expecting it could. Every single page was made of me grieving with Ky!!! I was there with her. Mourning over a love lost and the possibile of what could have been while also feeling terribly guilty about sensations and feelings starting to blossom towards someone else’s. I loved everything that happened between Ox, Neve, Sloane and Ais. I feel like they brought some happiness and peace in a world made of pain and fear and grief. And I loved to explore more about Redmond… a truly complicated and interesting character that turned out being so much more than he was at the beginning. With more magic and more twists and turns, secrets revealed and connection happening where we are not expecting them, this book made my heart soar, taking my breath away and making me blush. I still feel a bit overwhelmed by it all and I won’t be complaining about it. I can’t !!! And after the wonderful cliffhanger left at the end … I feel like we have so many things to look forward to when it will be out and we’ll be waiting for book five holding our breath !!!
“I was starting to realize everyone had ugly bits, a sum total of being broken in different ways through their lifetime.”
“There probably wasn't, but there was no guidebook on how to deal with losing someone you loved and wanted to build a future around while simultaneously losing someone you loved but never got to patch up your shattered shared past.”
“You'd take my breath away, no matter your form.”
“Now here it was, braiding us back together, one thread, one day, at a time. I'd stitch its ends into both our hearts if that's what it took. I wouldn't lose her again.”
Fall picks up right where Ascend wrenched out our hearts. This one is also heart wrenching but for a different reason. We see Kyleigh go through the grieving process of losing Dru and her mother. For anyone whose lost someone they loved this can be hard to read so please check the triggers.
We also get some insight into Redmond and his guilt for all the things he has done in anger, that is the blaze. We also get to know a little more about the Revered and their magic as well as Redmond's magic.
Aislin is also dealing with her trauma as she tries to heal from when she was a wisp under the Enchantress's control and Sloan being the perfect wife, yes you've read right WIFE, helps her through it which I loved. Neve and Ox have my heart in this book as Neve finally let's her walls down and fully accepts her bond with Ox and if I didn't love this man enough before, I'm absolutely in love with this softie.
“You are mó venéro, mine to revere and worship.”
“Mine to love.”
There's also so much angst and tension between Kyleigh and Redmond. I can't wait to see what Soar brings for them. I can't believe that's the last book. I'm not ready.
Fall picks right after Ascend (book 3). In order to fully understand this book, you need to read all the previous books in this series!
And OMGGG WHERE DO I BEGIN FROM ?! Ascend had destroyed me.. literally DESTROYED me in so many unspeakable ways and I was so not over it for weeks!
After finally recovering, I started reading Fall. And let me tell you… this was one hell of a masterpiece! I was impressed with each and every thing about this book! I did cried couple of times while reading it. Especially for Kyleigh, my heart aches for her 😭💔!
I was soooo hooked while reading it, I couldn’t bring myself to put it down! After each page, things get more interesting. I loved almost all the characters, they were so well written. But Redmond’s character was just *chef kisses*, really admired his growth throughout the series!
I’m so, so impressed by @lrfriedmanauthor work, I can’t wait to read more of her books in future! 🥹💚
I would highly recommend to all the fantasy lovers and literally everyone else to read this series!
I love that we got to explore more of the realm. Enjoyed the little laughs from Kyleigh about our world. I was super excited when we found another and who the other turned out to be (AHHH. sorry no spoilers).
Kyleigh's grief. :sobs: I just want to give her a big hug.
AHHHH Redmond! tell me more. His character arc throughout the whole series has been amazing. His growth continues to amaze me.
Aislin and Sloan: Glad they were able to delivery some happiness within Kyleigh's grief, but also for them to take it for themselves and not waiting.
Ox and Neve: Yes! I love this couple and I just want to give them a big squeeze.
I love our little fairie boy Travis. I enjoyed his POV and intrigued to see where and what his new team up gets into. :rubs hands together: It's gonna be a fun ride.
Fall is the fourth book in the Blaze Legacy Series and cannot be read alone.
It felt so good being back in this series. The ending of Ascend left me a crying mess and I was dying to read how it go on after that. And let me say, L. R. Friedman did it again. Each book gets better and better and just when you think no nothing can happen anymore.. Yeah, buckle up for the ride then.
I loved that we got even more development for the characters, and each book you'll keep on learning so much about them. This book is full of emotions, one moment I'm crying my eyes out and the next moment I'm laughing so hard. The journey all different characters are taking and the multiple POV to read it from are giving the book so much more depth. I just wanted to keep on reading. I can't wait for the next book in the series to see how this amazing journey will end.
Thank you L. R. Friedman for this ARC to read and review.
Okayy, sooo, where do I even start with this book? First off all, can I just say, it should totally be a best seller? Seriously, it's amazing! I mean, from my little reader perspective, this book and the whole series, it's just chef's kiss. It's got everything you could ever want. Adventure? Check. Love? Duoble check.
Sooo.., the kingdom's fallen.. And there's this looming threat from the Enchantress, and everyone's kind of pinned under it. Aislin and Sloan are trying to patch things up and get ready for this huge war that's coming. It's intense!! Aislin's dealing with all these memories coming back, a rollercoaster of emotions.
Aand then there's Kyleigh, who's just going through nightmare.. her whole world is turned upside down. She meets this stranger, and things get even more complicated. who can she trust? What's real and what's not? It's all so twisted and tangled.
Overally, this book and the whole series, it's just perfect. I couldn't ask for anything more. So yeah, if you're looking for a new series to get into, definitely give this one a shot. You won't regret it, I promise.
This might be my favourite on in the series! I absolutely adore every POV from Redmond, and this book nearly broke my heart. Redmond is a good man, and I have been waiting for this moment for him! And Kyleigh? This is her moment too. She’s brave, fierce, and she’s a powerhouse to be reckoned with.
Sloan and Aislin, phew, they can get it. I can’t forget them. The love they share is incredible. Daddy Sloan is strong, loyal, yet vulnerable when it’s needed. They can get it.
This book was heartbreaking, yet heart mending at the same time. And I can’t believe the way this just ended! Like um hello! I don’t want to wait for the next book. I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS!

Fall is book 4 in the Blaze Legacy series. This follows the events of the first 3 books in the series; therefore, YOU MUST read them prior to this one. Let me tell you, this book was flawless. My best read this year so far. I love how effortless, natural yet so evident the character development is reflected in this book on ALL characters taking in consideration their journey from book 1. Now let me be clear, it is NOT emotion and pain free; however, what I loved the most is how Lauren writes this journey in a way that tugs at your heart but makes it a healing journey at the same time. Since page number 1, I was flooding Lauren’s email with my emotions and thoughts all over the place. I was mind blown, legit! For those that have been waiting for this book A WHILE, you will be pleased and you get some closure. But at the same time, it is simply not enough. I wanted MORE!!! Lauren, can I have Soar now? I just cant wait to see what else you have in store for us. I have plenty more words for this book, but I will leave it at FLAWLESS.
ARC review. I started this series last summer and have really enjoyed each book (especially the prequel!) so I was really excited when I received the ARC for Fall. This book did not disappoint!! It took me a little bit of time to really get into this one but I think that’s because it also took me some time to remember what happened in the first half of the series (I have a terrible memory when it comes to books). BUT once I got into it, I couldn’t stop reading. The second half of this book was just amazing with twists and turns and shocking revelations. I even think I have a new favorite character?!? One I never thought I’d even like - so that definitely took me by surprise. I wish Soar was out already so I could keep reading. I can’t wait to see how this series ends, but I’m also so sad it’s ending!
I can’t fully express how much I enjoyed binging this series. So much happens throughout Fall, the fourth installment, but I don’t want to spoil any big surprises so I’ve decided to do a more encompassing series review.
The Blaze Legacy series focuses on 2 major FMC central storylines of Kyleigh and Aislin while maintaining multiple POVs with other key characters. L.R. does a phenomenal job of bringing each character to life and weaving their intertwined stories and fates seamlessly throughout the books.
What stands out to me about this series outside of the unique magic system are the characters and their incredible journeys of self-discovery and relationships with each other. I am so emotionally invested, even in one of the main adversaries. I don’t want to label them as the “villain” because I truly consider the entire cast to be shades of morally grey. Themes of loss, sacrifice, healing, redemption echo throughout the series.
There are so many heartbreaking but also heartwarming moments in these books. Our two FMCs undertake many challenges and unimaginable losses to bring them to where they are now. Many of the MCs are so broken yet fierce and resilient. As the series progresses, they all realize that they finally have others they can lean on for support and love. They slowly embrace who they are meant to be. The found family here is everything and each relationship is so unique and sacred 🥹
My mind was REELING with the reveals in Fall! Their journey isn’t over yet, with the greatest risk to their kingdoms poised to strike. Kyleigh, Aislin and their allies must outsmart the common enemy without destroying themselves in the process. I cannot wait for what L.R. has in store for us in the final installment, Soar!
Thank you so much L.R. for the opportunity to read this ARC. This is my honest and voluntary review
Fall is the fourth book in Friedman's The Blaze Legacy series, a dark portal romantasy. It picks up where Ascend left off. Please note, this series must be read in order. If you have not yet done so, I encourage you to pick up a copy of Descend, and delve into this wonderful world.
I don't even know where to start. Friedman never disappoints. The Blaze Legacy is a journey with highs and lows. While she tore my heart apart in Ascend, in Fall she embraced the beauty of kintsugi (Japanese art of repairing broken objects) and slowly started putting it back together. Although the ache will endure this book was filled with hope and renewal. (Perhaps humorous only to me, but this book, although entitled Fall, was like a Spring reawakening.) Friedman helps readers move through the pain and begin a journey of healing and hope.
As in typical Friedman fashion, the book is packed with content and continues to reveal secrets and surprises. While we revisit our beloved cast, we also meet some new characters. We also learn more about Redmond, a complex and captivating character. The author's writing allows readers to feel Kyleigh's pain, Aislin's healing, Sloan's love, Ox's devotion, Neve's growth, and more.
I love this series and while I am eager for the release of the fifth and final book in this series, I am also trying to prepare myself to say goodbye to these characters who I have grown to cherish. Maybe not Travis, but I would include The Enchantress in the list thanks to Pitch, a supporting book to this amazing series.
Lauren stole my heart again. She is always an auto buy author for me. The Blaze Legacy series has my soul forever. Stunning epic fantasy with endless beautiful quotes. One of my top reads for 2025.
Fall might be my favorite installment yet in The Blaze Legacy series. I loved seeing some of my favorite characters get their HEA that they deserve, and overcome trauma from their past. This story is ultimately about healing. I appreciated how Lauren showcased that it’s okay for your journey to be different than someone else’s. It’s okay to fall as long as you pick yourself back up.
My favorite part of this read was the development of Red and Ky’s relationship. I was on the edge of my seat with each witty comment said to the other, just chefs kiss. Everyone needs to meet them. 🥹
If you have not picked up this series, you’re seriously missing out. Beautiful fantasy world and amazing character development.
Quotes: “I was no one’s blessing. If anything, I was their damnation with a track record to match. Get too close and you could get burned. Or worse.”
“They believe in duality here. Balance. Death is both a beginning and an end.”
“Tell me your truth and I’ll tell you mine.”
“The stars weren’t benevolent. They didn’t grant divine blessings. And the moon? It would always be out of reach.”
“Pleasure, pain, joy, rage— I want all your fire. I’ll have nothing less than that.”

This series is one of my all time favourites and I was delighted to be asked to review the most recent instalment. L R Friedman just has a fantastic writing style and wonderful imagination. The world she has created through the Blaze Legacy series is amazing, the magic is fun to read about and I absolutely love that there is this core troop of female characters who are prepared to take on the world and battle for their people. They are the epitome of strong woman.
This book picks up from book 3 - the ending left me completely heartbroken and the beginning of this book pays real homage to that grief. I liked that we hadn’t moved on and that we can process this alongside the main characters.
The book is getting us read for a full on battle and I enjoyed the preparing and strategising that went on in this book.
But most of all, I love the characters. I’m not sure I can pick a favourite in this book - I just love them all so much. I even changed my mind about Redmond which I didn’t think would ever happen! Even the Enchantress is great to read about - a brilliant villain in the story.
I’m excited that there is still another book to go in this series but devastated that it will be the final instalment in this series. I have until December to mentally prepare myself.
This is a series which I am 100% going to be picking up to re-read time and time again.
Fall, written by L.R. Friedman, is the fourth installment of The Blaze Legacy. The excitement and anticipation for this book have been building since the end of the last book, Ascend. I adore Friedman’s writing style and became addicted when I read books one and two of the Celestial Haven series. Fall is part of a series and should not be read as a standalone.
After Ascend left readers an emotional mess, Fall was desperately needed to build us back up. This book had me on an emotional rollercoaster - laughing and crying. Friedman always does a fantastic job of giving us multiple POVs, delicious characters, and magical world-building. I enjoyed the unexpected twists and turns that kept me engaged and turning the page. Can we talk about character development?! Reading these characters as they evolve had my heart in a knot.
While it took me a bit to find my grove in the book, it did not disappoint. I really couldn’t ask for anything more. It is fantastic. I definitely recommend this series and the Celestial Haven series. I would love to see these books in audio format!
Thank you so much to L.R Friedman for gifting me a copy of Fall. I am leaving this review voluntarily. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I wanted to add some quotes, but truthfully there is so many amazing moments in this book I couldn't choose.
There are so many amazing character arcs in this series and in Fall everyone got to have their moments of development. I truly love each and every one of these characters, but my favorite has always been Redmond (who doesn't love a Lucifer coded wing king?) I loved getting so much more of him in this book. I feel like this is the calm before the storm we will get in Soar. There's still plenty of high stakes moments, though, that had me holding my breath, literally. 😅😂
There is so much representation in this series and I feel like anyone can find pieces of themselves in these characters. I am obsessed and will be eagerly awaiting the final (love it and hate it😂) installment to this series. If you love magical worlds with plenty of magic and mystical creatures I cannot recommend this enough!
It's definitely 5/5 ⭐️ for me! Although spice is totally subjective and it takes quite a bit to get high rated chili peps from me, there are definitely some suuuuper hot moments in here! 3/5 🌶
Where do I even begin? Each book I read by Lauren is better than the last. This is my favorite installment of the Blaze Legacy books so far, and I am so excited for the final book to come out after reading this one!
As heartbreaking as it was, I loved Kyleigh’s journey in this book. The unlikely duo of her and Redmond is so much fun to watch and healing at the same time. I love how she embraces all the rage inside of her, channeling it into her magic and fighting for her loved ones. Redmond is everything to me- I love that character to the ends of Celaria and back. This was his best book yet, so much character development going on and I LOVED every single pov chapter we got with him. I want more and more.
Aislin and Sloan 😍 swoon! I adore these two. They are finally getting to focus on each other after all of the trauma from Ascend and they have so many special moments (*ahem* some very special moments 👀) and I loved seeing them grow even closer as a couple and as a Revered and Champion. Speaking of Revered and Champion pairings, Neve and Ox had the sweetest, most touching moments in this book. They have grown on me so much and I just want all the happiness for those two.
Fall is an exciting read and next level compared to the previous installments. New characters are introduced! Lots of crazy plot twists! More dragons! Things that have been in the works since book one are finally being revealed and it’s so much damn fun. The Enchantress continues to intrigue me to no end. I cannot wait for the ending of this series just to see how Lauren ties it all together.
Fall is the 4th book in a 5 book + prequel series. This book would make no sense without the first 5 books, so you have to start from the beginning.
With that said, the author took the review right out of my mouth: “While there was so much leftover hurt and pain from the last book that these characters dealt with, there were so many beautiful healing moments for them. I loved getting to write those and to share so many full circle moments and secrets I've been holding onto since Descend.”
There was so much grief following Ascend, I could not wait to get my hands on Fall. Lauren beautifully transitioned from the heartbreaking events that ended Ascend to move towards the climax of the overall series. This book has a lot of rising action, which can be boring in other novels, but Lauren kept everything interesting, even taking us to a kingdom (probably not the right word) we had yet to see and developing a relationship we never thought would happen. I was surprised when I found myself routing for it.
"Grief wasn’t something you could simply wade through. It was more like a ghost that haunted wherever you went."
Happy Pub Day to Fall and CONGRATS to L.R.!! I think the writing in each of the books in this series gets stronger and better! Fall might be my newest fav!! Following Ky and her grief was hard and emotional but so well written!!! I cried through so much of this story! There were beautiful pockets of hope and healing sprinkled in to keep it from getting too dark. I just love how it goes from darkness and despair to hope and light.
"There was something I’d become certain of... Love only left you one of three ways: broken, alone, or dead."
Can I just say how much I love Redmond's characters arc?! Like I hated him in Descend but the growth and change he's gone through! Wow! I love that we get multiple PoV so you really get inside each character's heads!! The twists and turns are surprising and that ending is brutal!! I need Soar now!!! I definitely recommend picking this series up!
Do you love strong #female characters in #Fantasy Supporting male allies, romance, weakness, vulnerability, love and strength in a Fantasy book? Do you want a good plot with twist and tension? A Page-turner? Mermaid, phoenix, dragon and weird magic wielder. Do you want universe risch as spice like a mutton, Rogan Josh, and smooth and delightful like a butter chicken? Are you in for a well-written spice that makes you feel... "Hmm, it's hot in here, no?" And shed tears and beautiful quotes? Do you want humour and fun that makes you giggle and chuckle? Queer romance with beautifully written characters? Morally grey and enemies to lovers? Do you want so beautifully wielded tropes that you relish the moment you fall into it? Well, buy the damn book!!
I have followed L.R. Friedman since her first book, Scale, and what a treat! This is book 4 of the Blaze Legacy, which shows the author's evolution and maturity. If you like fantasy that challenges the norm while giving you everything you crave, Go for it!!!
Have you ever read a series of books and even though the book is over, you find yourself missing that world and those characters you just want to hang with? I’ve loved all of the Blaze Legacy, but Fall definitely holds a special spot for me in the healing and building of characters relationships after trauma that happened in Ascend. I found myself done with the book but missing my time reading and being engrossed in the storyline that was ever growing and changing through different POV. Loved the spice and cackled at some of the all true real moments in the tortured feelings of Redmond. This series is one I can read over and over and not get disappointed. L. R. Friedman excels at creating real-life morally gray characters that you can’t always truly hate. I’m super sad there is only one book left in the series, but honestly ready to go back and reread everything again. Anybody else ready for a Netflix series??? Just putting this out there.
This series just keeps getting better with every book! Although my heart was a bit broken at the end of ascend, I’m super excited about where this book went and where it could go in the next instalment (Soar).
I love the complexity and raw humanity (aka flawed) of all the characters, and how all their stories weave together and influence each other.
At first the multiple POV (there’s at least 10 through the series) was tough for me - a bit like emotional whiplash! But as I got to know the characters better and more into the story, I can honestly think of another way to tell this story! It’s actually quite masterful to write all of those voices individually and then also blend their moments into a story that makes sense and pulls you in.
This is not a story to pick up and put down frequently, it’s better read in dedicated chunks of time to get the full effect and really feel all that’s happening.
This book is the 4th installment in the Blaze Legacy series. It’s a portal fantasy filled with magic and dragons! So if you haven’t already started, what are you doing?
I have loved all of these books but I flew through the last half of this one because boy was I on my toes. We get a deep look into Kyleigh’s grief, which is so heartbreaking. We also get to see a whole lot more of Redmond and understand him better as a character. I will say I wasn’t expecting some of the development we got but I DEVOURED it. IYKYK 😘
I also adored everyone else in the book, especially Sloan and Aislin. Their complete devotion and transparency with each other is goals.
This book finally answers some of the Easter eggs that have been dropping throughout the whole series and there is still so much left to unpack! As always, a great read and I can’t wait for the next!
Where to start?!?! To say I was torn between needing to binge the book and savor it is an understatement! One that I went back and forth on many times😬 My only saving grace is that I can do a re-read of the series before the last book comes out. There is so much depth to the characters. You get the beautiful bits with the ugly, and everything in between.
Fall brings so much more to the story by expanding on the world of Celaria. So much has been building in the series that I am left awed at the beautiful complexity. While sooo frustrated to not have all the pieces together yet. But that is what makes it so fabulous. You are getting such a wonderfully crafted story that pulls you in.
If you haven’t read the first 3 books, plus the novella 🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️ and grab them. You WILL NOT regret diving into thia beautiful world! ☺️💕
Thank you so so so much to L.R. Friedman for this ARC. It of course ruined my life as it did end on a cliffhanger!
I mean this was an experience. I’ve spoken about this series before but I honestly forget how much I love it until I’m reading again. Fantasy books like this make me love reading even more! I am literally on the edge of my seat waiting for the next book.
Friedman’s books have the tension, the feeling, the world, and the pressure and I can’t get enough of it. Every book in this series has left me wanting more and made me feel like a kid reading Harry Potter again with the way I can’t put them down!
I strongly recommend this series if you like romantasy or are trying to get more involved in the romantasy genre in general. I’m counting down until the last addition to the series come December! 🔥
What did I just read? Why was my emotional rollercoaster extra active in this book? L.R. Friedman – you did it. I’m addicted and starving for the next book!!! Because really? A cliffhanger? Girl, get the next installment published already!!
If it took you this long to discover the amazing L.R. Friedman and her amazing world building and character development, then you have been missing out. Authors who can fully make you forget where you are, as they immerse you into their fantasy world, making it hard to put down the book, are the best kind there is!!! I’m not going to give any spoilers here, but seriously, if you are just discovering The Blaze Legacy in Fall, then be ready for a crazy fun, emotional and tense romantasy book – oh, and maybe start from the first book in the series, Descend, but Fall, just wow!
Words cannot express my love for this series. The character growth that has occurred from the beginning until this book is crazy. So much happened in the last book that I knew this book would be dealing with the aftermath. The vulnerability in the writing to portray what people are going through is beautifully done. New characters are introduced that leave me with so many questions. And characters I have loved from the very beginning are getting even better. And let me just say, the angst… the tension… was SO good. IYKYK. I highly encourage anyone who sees this and has not read @lrfriedmanauthor books, definitely needs to. I received an eARC in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
