I realize that a married couple alone on a spaceship can pretty much do what they like, but the scene where they leave their clothes in one room as they head to their bedroom was TMI for me.

Considering this is a story about a couple piloting a gas-collecting balloon to Titan, it's really very down to earth and realistic. Equipment fails, communication is cut off for months, and everything Mark and Michelle has is riding on the success of this mission. This attempt strains their marriage and isolates them from family. It might make them successful pioneers or it might bring down the wrath of the government on them.
