That was fantastic! Quite the thrill because all three of my guys were in this book... a lot! Sammy, Derek, and Jasper but Sammy is still it for me. It's very unusual for me to be panting over two let alone three in one read. I tend to get pulled just one direction and have no interest for anyone else. Here that isn't the case. I loved each character. Another unusual reaction from me that was a real shocker THAT I WAS FREAKIN' FANNING MY GIRL BITS OVER WAS THIS...
Maybe it was because I actually wanted all three so it was just so damn hot! Yeah Derek and Jasper.

I don't even want to tell you how they came about. Jasper was a man-whore but not into men and happens to be Sammy's best friend. Derek is a detective and was introduced in book #1 through River. Yes, I hope you read #1 (although it is presented as a standalone) before this, I don't see how they could be separated. Here we bring in Kyra, a friend of River's. Both Derek and Jasper want her and she wants them as well yet there's a problem standing in the way that you'll have to read about. Some serious sexual tension was going on and I was rootin' for Jasper and Derek to get it on! Jasper is so confused and in denial. I love how everything unfolded and hell if it wasn't hot! I still can't believe I'm feeling that. Damn Judith this may be a break through?!

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this and will now give my spoiler free honest review! I absolutely loved this book, thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. It wasn't what i was expecting after reading The Broken, it was better! I loved that you got to read it from everyone's POV, showing what they were all feeling and thinking in the situations that occurred. It does have m/m and m/m/f situations in it. I have to be honest and say i have only read one other book with this in and i wasn't particularly taken with it but Ker has completely changed my views on this! Her scenes were so HOT, written so well and had me completely taken in with it all.
The book was so well written, loved getting more of River, Sammy and Mikey in it as well. Was great to have the ending of The Broken cleared up too because that left me a bit hanging!lol
This book was fantastic, totally deserves 5 stars and i recommend everyone read it! Would love to have more from them all :-)

This story was good but, I have read this plot before. Naive girl meets two hot guys. One confident in himself, the other not quite sure. She is torn between the two for different reasons. Fate intercedes and well you know the rest. She's on lucky girl!

Five Beautiful Stars
Do you ever think of a book that made you feel everything and just want to cry.
Just when I think Ker Dukey couldn’t get any better she gives us The Broken Parts of Us. After reading The Broken and loving it I didn’t think The Broken Parts of Us could top it. Well how wrong was I. It was ten times better in my opinion. It wasn’t your average boy meets girl, boy and girl fall in love, boy and girl get married and have 2.4 children and they live happily ever after. If you’re looking for that kind of book this one is not for you.
I’m a massive fan of M/M and M/M/F books, not going to lie I think it’s the hottest thing ever. So when I found out there was going to be all of the above in this book, I was so freaking excited to read it and by reading Ker’s books all this week I just knew she would pull it off and make It HOT…..
It was beyond one of the HOTTEST sex scenes I have EVER read and trust me when I say I’ve read a lot. I had to take a few cold showers throughout the day. The sexual tension HOLY FUCK! As much as it was hot it was also so incredibly beautiful and shows you that no matter what sex you are, you can’t help who you fall in love with. The feelings these characters had for each other gave me goosebumps and made me so emotional.
I don’t want to go into too much detail as I don’t want to spoil it but to sum this book up, It…….
Ruined me.
Crushed me.
Made me cry.
Made me feel.
Made my heart happy.
The writing, the story, the characters will stay with me forever.
If I had to describe this book in one word it would be simply: BEAUTIFUL

I was thrilled to learn there was a part 2 to The Broken I loved Jasper and wanted to see him finally get some comfort.
So I was totally excited when I found out it was
Hatred towards con artists
And finally anger
Is it wrong to wish a character would disappear? Well I don't care. I don't want them in the family. They are in the way.
But over all I really enjoyed this book.

Gahh! This book! The suspense and angst are through the roof! My heart is still pounding. I love books like this. I like to really feel the rollercoaster. And let me tell ya, I’m feeling beat the fuck up after binging these first two Broken books! Dark romance readers will definitely want to give this series a read!

The Broken Parts of Us
How do you rate a book that out does any other book you have read? Rating this book on a normal scale is impossible, it is so incredibly unlike any book I have read. The way Ker pulls you in with words...it not only amazed me ...it consumed me. For anyone who has ever had a broken heart, you understand the all consuming pain that comes with it. Not just the emotional but the physical pain. It feels like your heart is being torn out and there's a 100 pound weight sitting on your chest. It feels like your dying from the inside out, and no matter what you do. The pain does not go away.
".. you crashed into, left me scattered and fragmented in your wake. I'm trying to put myself back together, but the pieces don't fit anymore. You changed me, awoke me, claimed me, and then you broke me."
I have felt like this in real life before, but never has a book made me clutch my chest and cry from the over whelming pain. I loved the first book so much because it captures what it's truly like to feel like you are stuck letting someone own your life, and unless you have lived that way, you never truly understand why someone stays.
"The thing about love, especially first love, when it's with someone who abuses you, it makes it hard to see that you're in fact a victim of a crime. It's not always the violence that does the damage. If the psychological affect it has. It clouds judgment; the abuser infects you like a virus, pollutes your mind, and takes away your rationality. They correct your thoughts by making you think you owe them, that to love them means accepting them; standing by the way they try to change. They convince you that you must've done something wrong to make them abuse you in the first place. They're poison that strips you of everything you once were."
It takes an angel to take your hand and drag you out of the pits of hell you live every day, and for River it was Sammy, Jasper, and Derek. But in the aftermath of her hell, it created others, now Jasper lives in his own, Derek has been living his for years, so who is left to help them when hell just keeps pulling harder? I loved this book more than any other I have ever read. This book did not suck me in...it consumed me with in its beautiful pain and the light that only a true angel could bring you , bring you back from hell.

After The Broken I wasn't quite sure if The Broken Parts Of Us would be able to live up to my expectations. Instead it blew me away. We meet up with Sammy, River, Jasper and Derek 6 years after Dannys death. Sammy and River are having problems with son Michael and still wondering the answer to the cliff hanger ending to The Broken. Jasper's been living with Derek, and he's engaged to Hannah(don't get me started on her!), even though he's more interested in Kyra. I'll be honest and say I wasn't a lover of Kyra at the beginning but she's just as confused and as torn as Jasper, and I ended up loving her. Poor Jasper made my heart break. The emotional conflict he goes through really got to me. There he is engaged to a woman who he dislikes, lusting after two people he doesn't want to want, but can't stay away from.I received an arc in exchange for a honest review and I can honestly say I loved this book. I loved Jasper from The Broken but I really fell hard for him in this book. Oh and Derek!! That man is just perfect. Not to mention the sex scenes!! WOW that's all I'm saying. If you liked The Broken you need to read this. I doubt you'll be disappointed. Well done Ker you're just getting better and better.

I just HAD To read this after reading Broken. I was totally shocked at Jasper's story!! It was so unexpected. I loved these characters, they filled me with emotions. Frustration seemed to be the main one ha ha! I just want what I want and hate waiting until the end! The hotness level is pretty darn high, Derek was yummmmmo!! Read this!!!

Jasper still have nightmares about what happened 6 years ago with Danny, also River who now worries about her son’s strange behavior after learning that she is pregnant again, he acts jealous and she thinks that maybe Michael can be the son of Danny.
“River is the only female I’ve ever cared about. When I first met her, I wanted to be balls deep inside her, I won’t lie, and any hot-blooded male would. She’s insanely hot; bite down on your fist, and squeeze your eyes shut because you think you’ll come in your pants if you don’t hot! But she was with a fucking possessive predator that was insane and had been abusing her for years. She was also the love of my best friend, Sammy’s, life. He was crazy for that girl. The good kind of crazy, and she was crazy in love with him too, so she became family to me. Due to the aftermath of her then boyfriend, we had a bond between us that’s unbreakable; pure and true. I fucking love those two and their little person, Michael. They are my family.”

Jasper has been living with Derek all these years and everything was going well ,until one night he caught Derek on the couch fucking a woman and he masturbated in front of them. Since then Derek hasn’t looked him in the face again.

Derek feels attached to River bc both have lost their brothers in a tragic way. Her sister committed suicide after her boyfriend cheated on her with her best friend, film it and send it to her. Derek feels guilty bc he threatened his sister´s abusive boyfriend and he destroyed her.
“Evan was Mya’s first and only love. He was older than her, and he was controlling.”
Derek feels an inmenso attraction to Kira as well and sees that with her he has a better chance of being happy than with Jasper.
“I see why, and anyone would be lucky to have you want them,” I whisper. “Then consider yourself really, really lucky, Beauty.”
Jasper starts to feel confused bc although he loves Kira, after knowing what Derek feels for him, he can deny that he also feels a great attraction to Derek.
“Something inside me has an inconsolable addiction to you. I’m struggling to fucking fight it," I tell him.
“It’s just something I need to get out my system, we both said that the first night after the shower, but all week was the same routine. Crawl out of Derek’s bed, fuck in the shower, go to work, avoid all eye contact and any other contact with Sammy, go check on Hannah, leave as quickly as I came. Go home and fuck Derek. He’s an addiction I never knew I would be hooked on, but I am. I’m hooked and flying high on the feelings pulsating through me. I feel alive; every molecule comes to life when he’s touching me. I feel wanted in a completely different way to anything I’ve ever experienced before him and it’s scary as fuck and soothing all at the same time.”
With the wedding date approaching more, Derek knows he has to break up with Jasper, although that destroys him inside.
“Keep me… keep me in your mind with the memories we shared. Keep me in your heart with each erratic beat you feel when I look at you. Keep me in the essence of your soul with the part of mine you own there. Keep me imprinted on your skin with the memories of my touch. Derek decides to let Kira, who he also loves,be the one to heal his wounded heart.
“Yes, but Derek, he is going to marry her. Neither of us can keep him. He set the date. Three weeks from now, he’ll marry her. I want to move forward. I want to be something more. I want us to be more. I’ve never felt this way before. I have to be with you. Own me, Derek, make me yours.”“You are mine, Kyra. We own each other now.”
Jasper feels miserable, he can’t be with the people that he loves, Derek and Kira, and he has to be with Hannah, who knows she is being unfaithful with another man but he doesn’t care, to do the right thing as a future father.
“I’m in love with him; I crave him and want to be in his breathing space all the time. Instead, I’m standing in Hannah’s apartment. Why can’t she be Kyra? For Kyra, I could have put aside all the things I feel for Derek. I could have just had her, she would be enough.”
"Jasp, you’re like a brother to me. Nothing anyone says or anything you do will ever change that. I don’t care where you put your dick; I just want you to find the happiness I have with River. I love you and want that for you.”
River and Sammy help Jasper discover that Hannah´s baby isn’t really Jasper, but Derek has decided to start a serious relationship with Kira, leaving behind his feelings for Jasper.
“There’s just too much going on; I had taken Kyra’s virginity last night under the impression neither of us could be with Jasper, so we deserve to be happy with each other, and now everything has changed for him on a huge scale. I can’t be with him now. I gave myself to Beauty and she gave herself to me. I can’t hurt her like that; the very idea of hurting her twists my insides. I went to tell him Kyra and I are an official couple now, and just like that, everything changed and it’s too late to take back the night I had with her. I wouldn’t ever want to. I do love her, but my head and heart are in turmoil over this.”
“I still have fucking feelings. Derek! I feel just like you do, I hurt just like you, and I’m hurting right now. How can you just shrug me off like I’m nothing to you? A fuck? Are you serious right now? I can’t believe this. I didn’t WANT TO FEEL THIS!”“You know what makes this twice as bad? Kyra. Derek, why her? You knew I had a thing for her. Is this some kind of punishment? Did I fucking wrong you?”“You just wanted to fuck Kyra. She deserves more than that. She’s not like the sluts you fuck. Jasper starts to feel confused bc although he loves Kira, after knowing what Derek feels for him, he can deny that he also feels a great attraction to Derek.

“It’s just something I need to get out my system, we both said that the first night after the shower, but all week was the same routine. OMG! Ker what are you doing to me! This book had me in bits! The emotions are so raw in this i felt like I was on a roller coaster is some parts of it! AND can I just say that this is HOT. Now I don't mean ooooh yeah there's people getting it on in this book. I mean the type of hot that'll make your whole face blush!
This is part two in the series. And starts off where the first left off. This is Jasper's book. BUT its also Derek and Ky's as well. Someone who works in River's dance studio.
Ky is SO nice! I literally wanted to pick her up and squeeze her cheeks. She's unbelievably good looking. And 100% innocent. And as soon as she see's Jasper she wants him. But our Jasper won't go there for fear of Rover. He likes his manhood attached to his body lol.
Japser and Derek are living together. And up until a few weeks ago it was the perfect living arrangement. Until Derek and Jasper shared something that will change a person. Things between them become strained. But there still the best of friends.
So Then Derek happens to have a run in with Ky. Not in the best of ways. She's in his station reporting a stalker. Her innocent look gets to him straight away and all he wants to do is take her and keep her safe. So he takes it upon himself that she will be. What happened to his sister will not happen to her.
So with Derek and Jasper living together the three of them spend a lot of time together. There create a bond that no one can break.
But people do try and break it. Someone from one of there pasts doesn't want them to be happy and is willing to stop at nothing to get to them and they people they love.
This was the edge of your seat,gripping your kindle to hard stuff! As I LOVE them all so hard! Gah I think I had like 50 mini heart attacks when reading this book from the HOT stuff and drama alone! I can not wait for Ker's next book! I know I will LOVE it as much as I love her :)

Ker Dukey is slowly shredding me to bits with her amazing stories, but making me all giddy in the sense that I’m absolutely in love with her characters. The Broken (book one) and The Broken Parts of Us (book 2) are the most tear at your guts emotional books I’ve read in awhile, and there’s no way to get around the rawness you feel after reading them.
This is Jasper's story, who I might add, is my new book boyfriend! He’s fighting many inner struggles with some massive roadblocks, and it’s a wonder he’s still in tact. He’s always been a bit of a womanizer, and then he meets Ky, who works for River (one of Jasper’s best friends) in her dance studio. She’s the epitome of innocent and pure, all things Jasper is not. He tries to stay away from her for everyone’s sake, but when there’s such hot chemistry between two people, someone’s bound to break.
Then we have Derek, another close friend of the gangs, who Jasper is currently living with. We soon find out a deep dark secret of Derek’s, which could cause an absolute uprising, and little do we know, Jasper is feeling the same way. So becomes our trio of love, lust, and secrets.
Derek (who is a detective) becomes involved in Ky’s life after she’s been stalked by a mystery man, and is soon entwined in his and Jasper’s lives more than they ever expected. The three of them eventually share a bond that no one else can touch, even when there’s a certain enemy that will stop at nothing to see them and their loved ones, hurt and afraid.
My kindle barely survived this one; it was all I could do to keep breathing! Once again, I give total praise to Ker Dukey for a mind-blowing story, and I can’t wait to see what she has in store for her readers next!

Jasper is still living with the nightmares of that fateful day where Danny shot him. Luckily he has his roommate and best friend Derek there to help him.
Derek has looked at Jasper a different way but would never do anything about it. He's his best friend and roommate and he knows how Jasper goes. He sleeps with woman after woman night after night.
There comes a time when Jasper looks at Derek differently though he doesn't know why or understand it. He knows he's made a mess of things, sleeping around and knocking a girl up that he doesn't even have feelings for, but he's determined to do the right thing. He is going to stay with Hannah and help raise his unborn child and marry a woman he doesn't love.
Jasper has a crush on Kyra though he knows she deserves so much more than a one night stand with him. She's pure and good, he's not.
When Derek learns someone is attacking women he makes sure River and Kyra are looked after. With River carrying another child, the guys are making sure she will not go through the hell she once had to.
Derek has feelings for Kyra but knows he can't do anything because he knows how Jasper feels about her. Even though he's with Hannah.
When Derek and Jasper have a moment Derek pushes. Surprisingly it works out really well! But with Derek falling harder for Kyra what can he do? Can Derek, Jasper, and Kyra all love each other and be together or will people come back from the past to ruin their happiness?

one thing I will say to you about this book is to expect the unexpected ,,, after reading The Broken and meeting Jasper I honestly DIDNOT expect this book to go the way that it did ,,, that said it totally worked ,,, this book is awesome ,,, I loved The Broken and now I can assure you that The Broken Parts of Us is also just as good!!!
Please keep an open mind when reading this book and it is for adults only ,,, remember that everyone is different and unique and whatever it is that floats your boat in the bedroom you cannot deny that this book is HOT!!!
there is some real intense emotion in this story you will feel it ,,, its raw to say the least ,,, youll feel the highs as well as the lows but that's the best part ,,, coz you will feel it
this book focuses on Jasper but we also get the POV of Kyra who is someone that is working at Rivers studio and has become a part of their lives ,,, we also have the POV of Derek too ,,, I like the way this book is structured because although there are times where you are left wondering and guessing you get to find out everyones thoughts straight away and its amazing to read how much people care for someone and believe that have no returning feelings when n fact the others are feeling the exact same way :)
I really don't want to give too much away with this book so ill cut it short but be aware it is intense ,,,, there is angst within the story too and at one point I thought the worst :( but ill leave you find out for yourselves

Holly Shit this book was amazing. I didn't know if I would like this book because there was one before it but this book can totally be a standalone so don't be afraid to read it. However if you are not into the M/M or M/F/M then please don't read it and if you do don't be rude about it. I go back and forth on the M/M situations because sometimes the scenes are terribly written but I can tell you right now this it NOT one of those times. This is the story of friendship that grew to love out of no where. Jasper and his friends went through a horrific tragedy and as the years went by they started to heal however Derek's secret starts to come out at the same time that both he and Jasper have the looks for Kyra. Krya the fireball dance instructor has caught their eye but her eye is more towards Jasper. When Jasper's life starts to go into a different direction the feelings between the 3 become stronger. Don't get me wrong the sex in this is amazing no matter who is having it. It's panty wetting orgasmic. There isn't a dull moment in this book with the story. A blast from the Derek's past is wrecking havoc on the women he has a bond with. Follow Derek who is a cop as he fights for the love of two people Jasper and Kyra. Follow Jasper has he fights his feeling for Derek, but wants Kyra with his whole heart. And of course don't forget Kyra who loves them both. This was such a good book and I read it in one day.

I didn't read book 1 but there were flashbacks and enough allusions to the past that I wasn't lost.
Jasper and Derek are roommates and while Derek is bisexual and can admit to himself he wants Jasper, Jasper is unaware although he feels a strong attraction to Derek he doesn't understand. The turning point is when a couple-night stand of Jasper's, Hannah, announces that she's pregnant (except Jasper always used condoms).
And both Jasper and Derek are attracted to dance studio artist, Kyra who is being stalked and Derek is called in as the detective to investigate and protect.
After Jasper gets an impromptu bj from Derek one night, he's confused but he wants more and eventually does start something with Derek that can only be temporary because he wants to be a father to his baby and is going to marry Hannah. Until he finds out Hannah's secret.......
A pretty sexy tale with mm and mmf sexin' and interesting side characters.
Needed more editing.

After reading book one I couldn't wait to start reading this as book one left on quite a cliff hanger.
I'm speechless... I can't believe what I've just read. This was fantastic.
Read my review of book one and multiply it by ten. That's how good this was.
This author threw shock after shock at me until it finished.
I was really hoping to read more of Jasper and Derek and my wish certainly came through.
If your looking for two really good books then grab these two books as I highly recommend them.

An Amazing 5+ Star read!!! I Loved The Broken and couldn't wait for this one to come out, and Ker did not disappoint!! Ker is such an amazing writer and really captures you from the beginning and has you feeling a connection to each of her characters! I loved reading Jaspers story and i also loved Derek and Sammy. This Trio has you rooting for them since the beginning and loved being there for their journey. I was completely in love with this story and I want more!!

Just like the first book "The Broken", "The Broken Part of us" sucks you in right from the start. The story is gripping, suspenseful, emotional and Sensual!! It's a must read by a terrific author!

However, this book focuses more prominently on the growing attraction that has formed between Derek and Jasper...
Yeah. I didn’t see THAT one coming.
Once Sammy and River moved out of Dereks house to start their own lives with their young son Michael, that left the door open for Jasper and Derek to get closer.
Derek is bisexual and extremely attracted to Jasper. My favourite character.
Jasper, the fun loving man whore from ‘Broken’ (book 1) LOVES sex and is willing to experience anything for pleasure.
So, when he starts to notice the way Derek is looking at him, and the sexual tension that increases when they are alone, he begins to feel uncomfortable until, he starts to feel the same way.
Bring into this equation, the young dancer working for River, Kyra, with her bangin, bod, and her red hair, and both men find themselves falling for her.
The backdrop to these three discovering their feelings for one another is the danger posed by the deranged ex boyfriend of Derek’s dead sister Myra, Evan Mills.
But mostly this book devotes a LOT of chapters to the conflicting emotions that Jasper is coming to terms with. He can’t believe that he is lusting after a man, his friend Derek....
Derek is a strange one for me. The P.I. From ‘Broken’ that took an usual interest into Rivers past, then inserted himself into their friend group, he lived in a mansion close to River and Sammy ‘s house. I always found his appearance in the story just a little bit weird. It seemed a little off kilter to me.
Having him be a P.I. And in this book policemen, has him being used to bring the suspense angle in the hunt for Evan.
This book was interesting in the fact that Ker Dukey, had sex crazy man whore Jasper, broken emotionally after his near death experience at the hands of the delusional Danny, find comfort and love in the arms of a man.
He was also willing to allow the dominant Derek to take the lead in their relationship and become more compliant.
He was confused emotionally as he also had a strong attraction towards Krya, (as did Derek)....
Confused? Ya keeping up?
Yeah, the relationship drama in this book was at a 100!
Also got say I was reluctant, at first, to read this book as I don’t normally like stories where there are multiple partners...Aaaannnd! I have never found M/M books my thing.
I can appreciate that Ker, did write an emotional story about their love for each other, but I don’t get why the sex between them had to be written so graphically...
Is it wrong of me that I don’t find it hot reading about two men having sex? ..Especially when one of those guys I had pegged as my new BBF... *sad face*

However, this book focuses more prominently on the growing attraction that has formed between Derek and Jasper...

The backdrop to these three discovering their feelings for one another is the danger posed by the deranged ex boyfriend of Derek’s dead sister Myra, Evan Mills.
But mostly this book devotes a LOT of chapters to the conflicting emotions that Jasper is coming to terms with. He can’t believe that he is lusting after a man, his friend Derek....
Derek is a strange one for me. The P.I. From ‘Broken’ that took an usual interest into Rivers past, then inserted himself into their friend group, he lived in a mansion close to River and Sammy ‘s house. I always found his appearance in the story just a little bit weird. It seemed a little off kilter to me.
Having him be a P.I. And in this book policemen, has him being used to bring the suspense angle in the hunt for Evan.
This book was interesting in the fact that Ker Dukey, had sex crazy man whore Jasper, broken emotionally after his near death experience at the hands of the delusional Danny, find comfort and love in the arms of a man.
He was also willing to allow the dominant Derek to take the lead in their relationship and become more compliant.
He was confused emotionally as he also had a strong attraction towards Krya, (as did Derek)....
Confused? Ya keeping up?
Yeah, the relationship drama in this book was at a 100!
Also got say I was reluctant, at first, to read this book as I don’t normally like stories where there are multiple partners...Aaaannnd! I have never found M/M books my thing.
I can appreciate that Ker, did write an emotional story about their love for each other, but I don’t get why the sex between them had to be written so graphically...
Is it wrong of me that I don’t find it hot reading about two men having sex? ..Especially when one of those guys I had pegged as my new BBF... *sad face*

Jasper is freaking out because he finds himself attracted to both Kyra and Derek. He has never before been attracted to a man and doesn't understand his feelings. Derek has wanted Jasper for years but never let him know because he knew Jasper was straight. When Derek starts dating Kyra and Jasper is with Hannah because she is pregnant with his baby, things really start getting confusing. Jasper is miserable with Hannah and only with her because he doesn't want his child to grow up without a Dad. Hannah doesn't seem very interested in Jasper either.
Overall, a very entertaining read and not as dark as the first book in the series.

I liked the first one, so I instantly read this one. Even though I enjoyed the characters and the angsty feel about it, I felt it was a little lacking compared to the first book. Overall, I still enjoyed the book, I just expected a little more after the first book.
