Rate this book
Loren’s sweet soul was scorched by tragedy when she watched her family die in a fire as a child. As an adult, she floats through life under a heavy cloud of sadness. Her unexpected new life with a man who loves her beyond reason is almost too good to be true. Gerald is not only her lover but her tenuous link to happiness and life. When Gerald witnesses a mysterious event and questions her love for him, her new secure life disintegrates into ashes and smoke.
Loren is once again exposed and lost. She realises that her fate lies only in her own hands, and no man can protect her heart from the cruelty of the world. Will Gerald reach Loren in time to recapture her heart and convince her that he can be her saviour or will a fate stronger than his resolve take her away forever?'

Guess this is a sampler of two different stories. What I read was good.....it Just felt incomplete. Perhaps there's more out there.

I was surprised by this novel. At the beginning I thought it would be a standard romance novel. It is well packed with hints that left me guessing and turning the page at a very fast pace. I wanted to linger reread what had held me spellbound and I was eager to find out what happened next. The ending though sad and emotionally shocking that is the fact of life and I walked away thinking how true the lessons were. Well written, sad it was only a short story. IT IS GOOD TO SEE A WRITER NOT FOLLOW THE SAME NORM, LIFE ISN'T ABOUT HAPPY ENDING ALL THE TIME, THE UNTOLD ONES END LIKE THIS NOVEL.

THIS BOOK HAS THE WORST ENDING EVER! WHO WANTS A GUY TO REALIZE THAT HE LOVES A GIRL, THEN THE GIRL TO DIE! NEVER GET THIS BOOK AT ALL. IT ISN'T WORTH THE MONEY OR TIME OF READING IT!
