David gave up as dull

Not the best
Woefully predictable with little in the sense of suspense, fun, or humour
Surprises are non existent and the constant bickering amongst the squad tiresome.
Even the big reveal in the last 20 odd pages is telegraphed much earlier and the whole.premise has been done before and in a much better thought out way
Won't be continuing with this, too many good books out there

Robot marines! Alien Invaders! Pirates and ... Dragons? Great fun!
Keel Hennety, once a pit fighter and now a soul downloaded into an imperial Marine Robot fighting Chassis now gets to face off against space pirates and alien invaders from beyond our galaxy. When things look worst for our boy he'll get powerful help from an old enemy, and a terrible. Voice to make.

Everything to satisfy a reading thirst
Lots of action to stir the imagination with the great way the author sways his way across the galaxies from one battle to the next. Brilliantly written. I also enjoyed that the first two were half size novels. Looking forward to the next episode of the Imperial marines.

SCI-FI FANTASY
An interesting read. Keel is a resurrected soul commanding a marine robot. The plot is a blend of Sci-fi and fantasy. Riding the star dragon which originally killed him is an adventure not anticipated. Enjoy the ride.

Getting better?
This volume of the story is improving my interest in the final outcome. I strongly suggest you read the books in order to maintain the continuity and let the data build.

Enjoyable story
Thoroughly enjoyed the story. Good character development. Great dragon. Was not expecting a real dragon in this story, so "Surprise". Looking forward to the next book
