Now that the bachelor parties have arrived, the true fun begins. A night at a club turns into something mortifying for Scarlet as she acts crazier than she ever has. Unfortunately, the entire act was caught on tape—by Sean. Just as they always do, the gang picks on her mercilessly.
While the trip was supposed to be full of drinking, gambling, and more drinking, Scarlet realizes she’s fallen deeper for Sean than she ever has before. And what shocks her even more is how much he’s fallen for her. Obsessed, needy, and attentive, Sean is a different man than he ever was before. For the first time, she allows herself to be weak and confide her painful past to Sean, telling him everything about her mom. Of course, this breaks his heart. After their wedding announcement was leaked to the Seattle Gazette, Scarlet worries her mother will destroy her happily ever after.
Cortland and Sean have a serious conversation, where Cortland reveals something even Scarlet doesn’t know, Ryan fits into his role as the maid of honor, Sean tries to keep up the tradition of their sexual encounters on the plane ride, and Diane is shocked when she learns there is even more upsetting news about her future daughter-in-law. Full of chaos, laughter, and love, Lover’s Roulette is an enthralling sequel to the series.

So, so so ridiculous. I'm done with this series. • I still dislike Sean , and now I also started to dislike Scarlet , too. I can't continue to read such long series with 2 unlikable protagonists. • If I search the book for the ''I love you''s, the count will be like 200times - at least. There is no need to be shoved down my throat, especially every after 2 pages. We've loved too, we SHOW it, and once in a while, we say it , too. • Not only the amount of sex scenes is hilarious (every other page , too, if they don't say I love you, they screw like rabbits), but what's extremely irritating is the need to speak about it '' Hello people, you know, we can't keep our hands of each other, we are having sex. Have you listened? Oh , what? You in the bar haven't learnt about it ?'' , ''Bro, he is gonna f-ck my brains out, what about you? You gonna get laid today? What position? Does she spit or shallow?'
SERIOUSLY??????????????????
And don't get me start about the typos and the editing mistakes. I'm no fluent English speaker, so if they are so obvious to me, I imagine how many more the fluent Eng. speakers have noticed...
This whole series is excellent reading, however book 6 is fill spelling and grammar mistakes. Your BETA readers should be more vigilant. While I loved the storyline and all the characters I found if really annoying that words like my should of been me and the lied was used often when it should of said lay or laid. This book should be revised forgot these mistakes. Apart from that and if grammar and subtext was all correct, I would of given this book a 5 instead of a 3
So I was enjoying the series... couldn't warm to some of the characters e.g. Sean and even Scarlett. My biggest bug to bear about the books is you are paying £2.50+ per book (250 ish pages not a whole book) - if they took out the CONSTANT sex etc then you would find 4 would be 2 books with a better story line. After 6 or 7 books I've spent a lot on not great novels. I would like to know what happens with some of the characters but I refuse to pay anymore to find out!
This is just an amazing book. This is not the first book that tells the story of the relationship between Sean and Scarlet. E.L. Todd very realistically describes the love and relationships of this couple. In this case, the storyline unfolds like a roulette game. Like, for example, you play in best online roulette and you don’t immediately know whether you will win or not. Then you win and you are happy.
Loved the fact that Sean and Scarlet relationship gets stronger with ever book. The love that Sean has for Scarlet is refreshing. I love the fact that this book gave us insight on just how much Scarlet mom abused her,
After having read 6 of the books in this series I am still really enjoying the life and loves of Sean, Scarlet and "family". I love the dynamic and closeness of the 6 main characters plus Sean's brother Mike who has made appearances over the last couple of books. I think Sean's Mother Diane is very uptight and I love the way that she keeps being shocked by some of the antics occurring. One thing that I REALLY noticed in this book were the amount of grammatical errors which is ironic because Scarlet's business is editing. It seems that I've noticed the errors a lot more over the last couple of books so not sure if it means there were fewer mistakes in the earlier books or just that I've noticed them more as the story has progressed. I've still enjoyed reading them but the errors are really bad and that has spoilt my enjoyment of the story a little.
I have been loving Sean and Scarlet, so deeply in love, such a great group of friends.
They continue through their trials and tribulations, but this book is set in Vegas, as they both have bachelor and bachelorette parties ! I loved how they both didnt want the traditional parties but the fun and frolics they had made me giggle!
It seems that when any of the girls are under the influence of alcohol anything happens!
I think my favourite couple of the whole series is Scarlet and Sean. While I was rooting for her and Cortland in the beginning after what had happened I was glad that she ended up with Sean. The passion and love they both have for each other. I also enjoyed the relationship she has with her brother. The story of the 2 when they are together always makes me laugh. The way they tease each other but no matter what its always love they have for eachother.
would've finished this book yesterday, but i was busy with my family.
this book had me laughing so much! it was a short read yes, but it still seemed like the story was long. i'm really glad Scarlett & Sean are finally getting somewhere with his mother, even though she can be a little hard sometimes. this series has soo many books in it, but it's helped me get out of many reading slumps so i'm glad for it.
I hate giving not so great reviews but the spelling and word misuse are getting worse. Again I feel the story idea was good but is not coming together right. my last issue is the constant name calling. Whore, slut and gross pervert are said constantly!!!! It is way to much. I will finish out this series however and hope their marriage runs on a more mature level then this relationship began.
I absolutely love the relationship between Sean and Scarlet, you can feel the love they have for each other. They are so sweet and I am so excited they are together. There bachelor and Hachette party weekend was so cute . Scar can't catch a break from her mother-in-law Diane I hope she does still like scar.
Enjoying the storyline of this series so far. Love the characters. But there are numerous grammatical errors, which make for a difficult reading experience. Considering the main character is a copy editor, you would think the editing on these books would be much better. Hope more attention is paid to this problem in any books this author writes in the future.
Oh My Goodness I never laughed so hard..... I LOVED it, I Love this Series and The Gang!!! I could not put this down for one moment. This series has really come into its own and you will absolutely fall in love with all of the Characters.
it was just OK. there was a lot of spelling errors. this book felt like a filler. Nothing really happend. This is an excellent series. I just was not impressed with this book.
I read this because I read books 1-3. I felt it dragging and could easily have been combined with another of the series. waste of time and money. Too many typos. Will not read anymore.
