Lucifer me propose l'impensable.

I didn’t think Mia could get any more clueless than she was in book two, but she really proved me wrong here. She might be one of the most frustrating FMCs I’ve ever read. Every other character was solid, and I liked the worldbuilding, but Mia felt completely useless in comparison.
Wolfhart does a spectacular job of wrapping up this series!
There is smooth transition from book 2 to 3 and a ton of oh craps! We have a full on fight for the world from page 1 till the end. With twists turns and surprising alliance shifts. Exciting read. The only issues for me was the loss of a romantic aspect. We see pieces of it but not what we are used to for Mia and Az. I missed it.
This has been a great series and this last book, well What a finale! Fast paced and action packed this had me hooked once again from the very start and I loved it! Az's and Mia‘s journey has been one hell of a ride, I’ve laughed, I’ve cried and I’ve bit my nails down to the quick with the suspense, intrigue and twists and turns and I loved the way it ended. I am also so excited so see what the author comes up with next!

Asmodeus and Mia thought they had won the game, but they were so wrong. Things are complicated. Lucifer drags Mia to Hell, and she has only one option to escape: She must sign a soul contract.
Oh my, oh my, how long it dragged on! I'm so disappointed in this book. The series had a nice, interesting, and strong start, but it all fell apart in this book. Az and Mia were always separated and at odds. There should have been a resolution about Moraz, or at least a restoration.
I must admit I'm a shifter lover and it's always my go to BUT I love when I find books like this that have all the broody alpha males, suspense and romance that shifter stories have.... I read this whole series in a matter of day and struggled to put them down. I liked the twist at the end and the reason Lucifer never stepped on the bridge. It was heartbreaking there for a while for Mia when no one remembered her but glad it all worked out in the end. Can't wait to read Caim's story next. Definitely recommend reading 📚
Book three of the demons after dark trilogy the thrilling conclusion to this magnificent series. Action packed, dark secrets revealed, the fate of the world and the love of her life on the line rests in her hands with an impossible decision to make. This was a fantastic series to read i loved all the supernatural creatures angels, demons, fae, werewolves, vampires. I loved Mia and Asmodeus and their legion Caim, phenex, Valac, Bael, stolas. This was a great ending to a great series it was highly entertaining and enjoyable to read i definitely recommend it.
Following the events of the previous book Lucifer drags Mia to hell determined to keep her and Asmodeus separated. She thought things were bad enough doesn’t compare to the answers she starts getting from Lucifer that she made a deal with the creator to become truly immortal which is why she reincarnated into her current body. For the exchange of helping end the world in the soul game the creator isn’t happy with his creation of humans and wants to start over by creating a frozen wasteland of the world. That a prophecy was made of her and Asmodeus that together they’ll end the world and Lucifer doesn’t want that. So he makes her a deal to leave hell and kill Asmodeus by ripping out his heart or the world will end. She reluctantly agrees to the soul contract but plans to get out of it. Returning to Manhattan with a week time period she heads to Asmodeus and the Legion only to realise that all their memories of her have been wiped and they don’t trust her, only the fallen angels Gabriel and Suriel and the fae River remember her. If things aren’t bad enough the shocking revelation of her memories are fully released she was an archangel Mia who did a wicked oath with the creator and did use Asmodeus but she also fell in love with him. This turn’s Asmodeus and the legion against her and she runs for her life getting the fallen angels help including Raphael who helps her because Lucifer did tell the truth about her he didn’t tell the whole truth he isn’t interested in Asmodeus heart but her immortal archangel soul which he gets if she fails in her task meaning he’ll wins. She and reluctantly Asmodeus team up to fight Lucifer and restore his soul in a daring plan that succeeds. Lucifer releases her soul contact, leaves the soul game meaning no one wins so humans keep living as they our. Asmodeus and everyone gets their memories back Lucifer returns to hell and Mia stays with Asmodeus and the legion helping track down supernatural serial killers a happy ending. I loved this series and will definitely be re reading in the future
I love this series and I love these characters! I was sucked into this right from the beginning.. make sure you start reading at a decent hour (I didn't) but it was WORTH IT! Read it all .. now I want more! I'm not going to say what its about, thats what the blurb is for ;) But I will tell you this one has all the feels!! There are 'a ha' moments, there is a lot of being frustrated by certain characters, there is wtf moments and the 'love' is awesome < understatement. The whole series is a must read but make sure to read the fine print! HAHAHAHA Can't wait to see what Caim gets up to! Wicked OathJenna Wolfhart
2.5. I rounded down because of the poor excuses given to Mia to allow her to do what she does in order for us to have a story. She’s not… dumb. She’s very trigger-happy and doesn’t think things through. She did more so here than the other books, but it was still present and annoying.
I did laugh. And cry. A lot, because of the feels that sent me down random thoughts and “omg what if” scenarios. But her thing with Lucifer was a little awkward at times. Better than book two. Just not… convincing enough to make me feel like I can trust in this world provided to me.
As I said earlier, I think the idea is good here. But the execution messes up your perception of Mia and ruins the story mood, in my opinion. I’m glad this was on Kindle Unlimited though because despite the hardships, I can still take all the good stuff with me.
Sooo much to say. So many emotions. Mostly, I was deeply disappointed with the events that occurred and how things played out.
I disliked that Az and Mia were basically separated and at odds with one another for the majority of this book. And then when things turned around at the end, I REALLY needed more contrition, horror and apologies from Az. But got none. And perhaps a true recognition of how deeply they each felt for one another, but all we got was casually given ‘I love you’s.
Lastly, I really wanted a definite resolution with Moraz. Or, at minimum, his restoration and an open-ended finish for us to have HIS story be next.
Heck…let’s have a story for each of the legion members! There’s a lot more to say and do in this ‘world.’ I didn’t really love where we were left.
A competition for humanity fought for centuries between the light and dark forces, but who is the enemy and who is the hero is a dark and twisty journey to navigate through the layered convoluted lies and eventually find the truth. Mia is a sharp detective but still finds herself drowning in dark intrigue, in search of lost memories while trying to save her demons. A bit frustrated by the depths of bullish stubborn male aggression --- I found myself yelling "just do the damn spell!" in hopes that I could impact the storyline lol. Mia is a sympathetic character that makes mistakes but she means well and refuses to give up when facing impossible odds, an enjoyable read!!
I really loved the first book. The premise was interesting, the characters were fun, and thr plot moved at a fairly good (if not slightly accelerated) pace. I feel like someone had their foot on the gas through book two then slammed it to the floor at the end of book three. There were so many pages for so many things to not happen. The plot then suddenly comes to a raging stop where all problems are miraculously solved. There are also plot holes large enough to drive a semi truck through that were hard to ignore and kept me screaming "why not just ______ than??".
The series was fun. I'm glad I read it. But I feel like the last book was an absolute slog to get through.
This entire series kept me on the edge of my seat. If you love fallen angels, demons and supernatural romances, this series is for you. The bond between Az and Mia was so strong that after centuries of being apart the found each other in the modern day. Lucifer played so many games to keep them apart just to win the game of souls. Mia out played him and was able to reunite Lucifer with his soul in which he forfeit the game.
I was actually scared to read the last book because I didn't want to know how the story ended. However, I'm glad I did because it ended in a HEA!!!
Jenna Wolfhart you are an amazing author.

A thrilling finish to the series. 😍 You could actually feel the panic and desperation that poor Mia is experiencing as she frantically tries to save everyone and everything. I loved all the twists with the memories, that was really well done. 😁 I did feel that the ending was a little rushed. A few things were wrapped up a little too conveniently and quickly to be believable within the plot and it stuttered the flow a bit right near the end. All in all it was a really great series and I'm excited to read Caim's story next. 😘
The story starts with Mia being brought to hell by Lucifer. He wants Mia to return to Earth to destroy Asmodeus by cutting his heart out. Otherwise Lucifer gets Mia’s soul. But when she returns Lucifer has made everyone who knew Mia forget her and she has no one to turn to for help. She must find allies in new places and think of new strategies to use. This book is very exciting and fun to read. It is interesting to see the twists and turns that the story takes. I recommend this book highly.
Wow, that was one Heck of a conclusion. I did not see half of that coming, but I love the unexpected stuff. And omg Lucifer..... OK I really need more of him. Jenna Wolfhart really does write amazing characters, I don't think I disliked any in the entire series including the bad guys. I was stunned speechless reading this, god the story had me practically biting my fingers off with anticipation. I haven't read any like this by the author, this was different from most of her books I've read so far but honestly that was incredible.
As always Jenna has written another Amazing series this book had so many twist and turns that kept you guessing who was telling the truth and who was lying to you, then to find out lucifer didn't have a soul and that's why he was behaving the way he was. Mia being an archangel and AZ trying to kill her while he didn't have his memories of her kept me on the edge of my seat wondering if they would get their happy ever after or if Mia would be forced to rip az's heart from his chest. Thankfully all is well in the world of the Legion can't wait to read what happens next for them in Caim's story Sinful Touch coming out this fall!!!!!

I've enjoyed this trilogy. This final book was very suspenseful and captivating until the end. I felt like it was rushed. Everything was happening, there were lots going on, plenty of descriptions, action, heart break moments and then bam!!! the end, just like that and all's forgiven and over with. So that's my spiel for not being able to give it a 5 star rating.
This was an OK story, and it summed up series ok… I guess. I’m just kind of bummed that it was so convoluted and then wrapped up so quickly. I just wish it had been more streamlined and a bit better. Was this a cool series? Absolutely. Do I wish this book was a little less jumbled and rushed? Yes. And I will still going to check out the other series though that’s related to this one. I hope it’s a bit more streamlined then this ending.
Absolutely loved it!! What an amazing read this series was. Mia is an amazing MC with so much fight and spunk absolutely loved her. Az and his legion was the perfect blend of panty dropping gorgeousness and absolutely terrifying. Really excellent, unique, action packed, super hot read. I really can’t recommend it enough. Bring on Caim’s story I’m thirsty for more.
This book had me right from the beginning till the end!Mia and Az have some sizzling chemistry..Cant believe this series is ending. Lucifer definitely needs to die and I hated his character.Mia is more matured and badass compared to the first book and that was some beautiful character development there.Even though I knew this was a HEA book but still that twists had me feeling unexplainable emotions..Waiting to read the next book!
The adventure hots up for Mia. After signing a contract with Lucifer to remove Az's heart she returns to New York to find that Lucifer has wiped everyones memories of her. With some help from some very unlikely allies she tries to restore the memories without letting Lucifer know that she is avoiding fulfilling the contract.
Really great character s who had the ability to make sure you were so invested in the relationships. Great story filled with plenty of action and sarcasm. I highly recommend this series to everyone who loves a good paranormal action packed romance.
I read this series in 2 days it was so good. Asmodeus and Mera can't catch a break . Their story continues and their challenges get harder. She might've got out of hell but is she gonna be able to save her soul and save the others from Lucifer or she's doomed cause this time the challenge is worse specially after her truth comes out.
The series started off so strong, but it just fell flat afterwards. The second book felt rushed towards the end, and the third felt completely like a hot mess. Sad I enjoyed the series, but the constant add of new material to the storyline for shock value just decreased the story.
Not as good as book 1, not as bad as book 2 and a reasonable ending to the story. I'd give the installment itself 3.5 stars, but as it's the conclusion to the series and that kind of reflects the series as a whole, I rounded it up to 4 stars.
With that being said, it still leaves behind a meh feeling... Like this could've been so much more.
I have whiplash from the plot of this book changing so many times. This felt rushed and disappointing. None of this series was spectacular writing but I enjoyed reading it nonetheless…. But this installment was not as enjoyable due to the constant changes in the plot, the separation of the two MCs throughout most of the book, and the rushed ending. At least it was free to read on KU 🤷🏼♀️
This trilogy was a bit touch and go for a wile personally but overall I ended up really enjoying it! I gave it 4 starts purely because of how it constantly kept me on my toes, I couldn’t put it down. I loved the main character, and the side characters, and the romance, and the unexpected going family. Going into this I really didn’t expect to like it as much as I did :)
Wickedly heart-stopping fun! An exciting story full of suspense, betrayal, lies and love! I really enjoyed this conclusion. It kept me on the edge of my seat the whole way through.
The story drug on for quite awhile with the same situations & then all of a sudden the last 5 pages there's a resolution & it just ends. Didn't care for it. Felt like the author needed a bunch of filler to get a whole book written
