“The first section almost had me in tears. The rest ranged from laughter to deep thoughts. That’s the best I can say about any book, ‘It made me think’.” Douglas M. Las Vegas, NV

This book has a cool name and a great cover, but much of the text suffers from forced rhymes and cliches. The simple rhyme scheme is just fine, even lending itself to a nice flow, but there are too many words and phrasings that rest awkwardly within a line or thought, and which are clearly there only for the sake of the rhyme. There are a handful of high spots - good turns of phrase or insightful observations, including the great poems "On Display" and "Teed Off" - but the majority of the work simply rehashes trite subjects in reductive ways. Were the bright spots, which are very bright indeed, more common, I would like to read more from this author.
On a formatting note, the lack of page numbers is a bit annoying, and half of the commas are unnecessary, breaking the flow.

Wonderfully written poems. Some funny, some thought provoking, some inspiring, some sad, and even some that are a bit naughty; this collection has a little something for everyone.
