Anna Benton is a professor at the University who happens to work with Amphibians and Reptiles. Her attendance at the BioBlitz allowed her to meet Meg Parker and her young son James, a slimy animal enthusiast. While James was instantly smitten with the adventurous Dr. Benton, Meg was hesitant to enter a new relationship with another teacher, having been burned in the past. Anna, however, has no problem giving Meg time to trust and allow their slow-burning romance to blossom.
I'm glad I decided to read this book, the story was short and sweet without any hang ups of past relationships to come between Anna and Meg. The fact that Meg's son James was always included in their plans by Anna was endearing to say the least. Will definitely read other books by this author and would recommend it.
I bought a bunch in this series but just got around to reading this one. I like the interaction between the adults and child especially having the kid involve in what goes on.
