POOR YOSHIDA IS JUST TRYING TO SAVE DENJI AND NAYUTA BUT DENJI IS SUCH A DUMBASS, it is kinda interesting how much influence the concept of chainsaw man is having on the public tho I wonder if there's more to it, I do wonder if he'd have taken the chance of an ordinary life if it was with Power and Aki, you know because I hate myself and clearly love misery.

Okay so the newest chapter came out and it was so good it bumped the volume up a star purely for this exchange:

Asa: Finally, I won’t have to cause trouble for anyone else… or get my feelings hurt anymore. I won’t have to lie in bed thinking about all the things I did wrong as I want to fall asleep…

Denji: Are you nuts?!

Asa: Life is nothing but pain!! Getting made a fool of, getting your expectations up only to be let down!

Denji: Believe me I’ve been there, just when life seems super awesome, as soon as you let your guard down.. some crappy thing happens out of nowhere and screws it all up, right? The disasters pile up like a burger made of crap. But I have something to live for!

Asa: What’s that?!

Denji: SEX!!! I WANT TO HAVE SEX!!

Asa: Ew.

I’m missing the Chainsaw Man anime, so I jumped back into the manga 🥲 as always, this was batshit insane, but I enjoyed the ride! There’s plenty of gore and body horror moments here omg, this is going to look so cool animated - bring on Season 2! 🖤

(1) I am glad to see War's big sister shows up!

(2) I am also glad to see Control again and see more of her life with Denji!

(3) Fami's motive is revealed, but should we trust what she said!?

(4) I am not very impressed with the new devil who shows up in this volume~ the Falling Devil, her outlook is pretty cool and she is really scary, but her motivation is a bit unclear and so is the Devil who is beyond all these attacks against Asa.

(5) I hope there will be more plot twists in the upcoming books!!!! Although I personally don't like how this other guy is threatening with the life of his loved one.

(6) I LOVE the description of Denji's home life with a certain someone.

(7) Although I must say the artwork is getting untidy and shabby from time to time.
