As some one who has personally battled several types of distortion and imposter syndrome in my own life, I found this journal to be so refreshing. It was very easy to follow along with and I loved that it was the same prompt each day to help continue the self reflection.

I am a busy mom with lots to do so I appreciated how simple yet profound it was with its prompts. The information at the beginning of the journal is concise, yet very helpful in prefacing what is to come. It was easy to fill out and only took a few minutes of time, yet I already can see how this will make a difference in my life. I received this journal as a free gift but it is well worth the price! I can't wait to continue working through it over the next several weeks and seeing what impact it can make in my life.

I am a long-time self-saboteur, mostly in the form of procrastination.

The examples of how to reframe it were really useful. And being able to give a name or category to the distortions really helped me see the opposing argument to my self-sabotage. There is proof that I can accomplish what I set out do to. And seeing that proof is the start of the mindset shift about self-sabotage.

I did find myself using this journal in conjunction with another blank journal. This allowed me to further explore each method of self-sabotage and the evidence supporting it.

I spent quite some time working through the tasks in this self help journal and will still be able to go back to the book and repeat the tasks as my mindset changes.

The book made me think about the different elements of my life and what I could consider to make a positive change.

I would be interested in seeing what's next for the author and if she does a follow up book or something similar.

I loved the definitions, examples, of the 8 distortions. Felt all could relate to the examples. The journal framework, design, kept the ideas clear, with very little room for misunderstanding of how to work through the thought processes.
