Elena M. Reyes is the epitome of a Floridian and if she could live in her beloved flip-flops, she would.

As a small child, she was always intrigued by all forms of art: whether it was dancing to island rhythms, or painting with any medium she could get her hands on. Her passion for reading over the years has amassed her with hours of pleasure, but it wasn't until she stumbled upon fanfiction that her thirst to write overtook her world.

yep he's sooo ALPHA to a T.

I love Talan's character. I love how the book is basically through his POV and hopefully for the next read that it's all Talan. Bitty I like, sometimes she acts too teenagey (okay is that even a word if not it's all good cause I made it up hehe). Still I do love her and Talan's hot smoldering sexy scenes.

This felt a little too dragged out for me. Getting to a certain point and then it has to over analyze that certain point. Yet, I like do like where the story is going. The pace, the crazy exes, and the cliffhanger OMG...



Please tell me that Book 3 does not leave you feeling creeped out.

Elena did it again. I fell even more in love with Talan than I did in the first book, Marking Her.
In this book Talan and Maya are still “taking it slow” so I was screaming for them just to do it. Yes I needed them to have sex I will admit it. I can say though the oral was pretty clench thigh worthy. In other words it was on fire hot.
I don’t want to divulge too much into the story but Janice does make a reappearance. The crazy is back. Elena has told me that she in fact loves Janice so I am keeping an open mind that there may be some good in there somewhere.
All the guys are back too. Simon has to be my favorite. He is as whooped as Talan but he is a great friend to both Talan and Maya. He also has a cute girlfriend, Ester, who is just as feisty as her best friend.
If you have not read Marking Her I suggest you read it now then pick up Marking Him. You won’t regret this read. I can’t wait for more.

Now that Maya and Talan have officially begun their relationship, Talan lives each day wanting it to be special for Maya. Maya is head over heels in love with Talan and loves teasing him into a frenzy. Talan would never have thought he had a romantic bone in his body, but he plans on having Maya forever and stepping outside his element he does his best to romance her. It should be a smooth courtship with so much passion in their relationship, but a crazy woman who is intent on claiming Talan as her own becomes a threat to Maya.

I had not read the first book but loved the second. Maya and Talan's relationship is explosive, sensual, and you have no doubt the amount of love between the couple. I am definitely picking up the first book, what a terrific series.

5 control me stars!! Sexy, hot and rocky!

Talan’s life has been changed now that he and Maya are officially together. But now he’s struggling with her and trying to get her to settle down. He needs to have control over her, but what he doesn’t get is, that drives Maya over the edge. She likes to be free, but he has his reasons for wanting to keep her close. Janice is back and hiding in the shadows waiting to pounce. But as Talan is pushing her for more, Maya isn’t sure this is what she wants. Can he get more from the woman he loves or will he scare her off?

I love this book and I love that it was longer than the first book. Maya had her moments where she annoyed the p@ss out of me, but I can understand her reasoning for being flighty. Talan is a total alpha…..I won’t lie I loved the control he wanted over Maya, it was sexy!! And don’t get me started on Janice…..grrrrr….that girl pushes my buttons!!! Can’t wait to see what happens next!!! Loving the series!!

Is it possible to fall even more in love with Talan!
Talan and Maya are still going “slow” and I will say I was getting frustrated because I wanted them to have sex already. LOL! However, the fore play between them was hot! Talan and his dirty mouth and Maya the little sex kitten!

During the story, the crazy ex-employee Janice reappears and is starting a whole lot of trouble. You see how crazy she really is. We also see a jealous and protective side more in Talan. I definitely did a lot of laughing in this book, especially when they got together with their friends or went out. He realizes quickly how much he’s in love with Maya and how possessive his is of her. (Not in a bad way) He wants to own her and let everyone know she is his.

“But please know this: I will never lie to you, I’ll be faithful and loving until my last breath, until God separates us”

At my words, her eyes welled with tears.

“And even then, I will never be too far. I love you, Bitty.”

Going slow went out the window! They owned each other and you couldn’t help how happy these two are. For Talan to be a hard ass, he had such a sweet and romantic side when it came to Maya. You see how special Maya is to him. Maya even had some tricks up her sleeve too. She surprises Talan many times throughout the book. You also get to meet Mayas parents and Talan’s mom and oh my gosh, I loved them. They were so funny and accepting. During this time, Maya has been getting threatening text messages from an anonymous number. She tried to keep it from Talan but he soon finds out and he see Red!

“Pay attention, because I won’t repeat myself.”
“I love you. Need you. Would die for you”
“Nothing-not a goddamned thing in this world-comes before you. You are my mine to take care of and love. Never lie to me again.”


How could you not love a bossy man with sweet words? I don’t want to get into the story too much but the threats don’t stop and more crazy things happen. I loved the angst and the mystery in this book, along with all the funny and hot moments too! The book doesn’t end in a cliff hanger, but there will be a third book! Yay!! If you haven’t read this series, you must!

Um, WOW! I didn't think I could love Talan any more than I did in the first book. I was so very wrong! He was alpha to the EXTREME in this follow-up. I also loved that we got several chapters from Maya in this book. Loved to see from her POV how much she loves her Tatt Boy. Of course, one of the things I love about how Elena writes is that she's so great at writing from the male perspective... and she was so good at showing how much Talan loves his Bitty.
I have to admit...the UST was upped significantly in this book. I was ready to scream at Talan to TAKE HER ALREADY! All the scenes were so hot though & well worth the wait!
Um, WOW! Janice took her crazy to a whole new level this time. I won't say exactly what happened BC I don't want to ruin anything for anyone else (for those that don't yet have the book, you can read previews on Elena's website & in the back of the first book), but, um, wow! She definitely belongs in a padded cell.
Elena has proven again how talented she is at writing a great love story. I've loved Elena from the time I read her first fanfic & I'll buy her books now for as long as she writes. She's so great at writing loving relationships - from the sweet moments to the funny ones and of course to the sexy times. Such a great follow-up! I'd recommend this series to anyone that loves a love story!

Slow just doesn't do in this book. Zero to Sixty and full speed ahead.

Talan wants Maya oh so bad, but the thing is he keeps putting the brakes on this thing they have going on. Its understandable, Talan is new to this game and he doesn't want to mess it up. He wants to claim his Bitty and make her his but wants to do it the right way. When he FINALLY does claim her as his it is one hell of a sexy, raw and delicious scene. "Paint me".

The sexual appetite these two have for each other has us blushing and honestly turning away. We want to give them privacy!!! Sex is passionate, raw and sensual. We actually become voyeurs!!!! We can't get enough of what these two do when they are alone and honestly who can blame them!

But, even with all the new found emotions of new love and moving forward as a couple there is drama. Drama in the name of Janice. Oh this girl is truly a problem. Talan and Maya are one strong couple that knows what they want and they make each other a priority and this works well. They know how to take care of themselves and each other. They have become a favorite couple.

This book does have emotional scenes but they are needed to see how deep Talan's love for Maya is. It truly is an amazing story. Elena has a way to capture her audience I absolutely love her writing style.

And let me tell you, the heat level has gone up this time around. In Marking Him, Reyes continues to stretch her writing wings by weaving a tale of learning to trust but knowing when to stand your ground.

Our main couple, Talan and Maya (aka Bitty), are forging ahead in their budding relationship, both wanting to accelerate to full speed but knowing they need to pace themselves if they have a chance in hell at this being more than a relationship of LUST.

With two such stubborn leads, can they find that middle ground? Will Maya ever be able to accept Talan’s protective tendencies as simply part of his FIERCE love for her? Can she understand that it’s who he is, how he must act? What of Bitty’s independent nature; will Talan embrace it, or walk away finding it too much? Then, of course, there’s Janice: demented and forlorn, how far will she go to make her delusions reality?

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. So so good if you have not started this series do so immediately. In this book we see Talan and Maya are back and Maya is still frustrated. Talan wants to take things slow because Maya is more important than any other woman who he has been with. Maya wants Talan and is sick of waiting but knows he is the boss and with what he does do for her she can wait just a little longer. Janice is back in this book as well and just as crazy as ever. I don't want to ruin any of the surprises in this book but there are still troubles both from the current people and ones that we met only briefly in the first book. I will warn you this book does end on another cliff-hanger but the book as a whole is worth it. I can not wait to see where the author will take us in the next book but this one had me from the first word till the very end. I must say it was absolutely amazing full of love, learning what you really want in life and how you are willing to go about it.

Talan and Maya are moving along in their relationship. They are very much in love. They are spending lots of time together. That is until Janice shows.

Janice showed up at the shop and started her crazy talk again. Talan and the rest of the gang were getting tired of her. Janice had assaulted Maya and then Maya defends her self. After that she was quiet until Halloween. She shows up uninvited to a party with her crazy talk. This time cops were called. Hoping that was the end but not letting their guard down all the way.

Then one day on campus while Esther and Maya were walking after lunch. Brian shows up. He starts running his mouth and such. That is until Talan and Simon show.

Things between Maya and Talan were calm again the holidays were over and Maya was working hard on her studies. Until one night after class she walked to her car. She was attack.

Who attacked Maya? Was it Brian or Janice or both?
What happen to Maya? What does Talan do? Does Maya and Talan ever get what they want?

I would recommend this to my friends.

I really enjoyed it, but probably enjoyed book one a little more...I love alpha Talan, even though sometimes he is slightly over the top. I found that Maya seem to have lost just a little bit of herself in this book compare to the independent and feistier Bitty from book1.. But regardless of all that I have truly enjoyed reading the multiple times that they have gone 0 to 60 .... :). First half of the book had me wondering if they would ever get out of bed :)... Now delusional Janice and her partner in crime (thinking they might be related) does but a certain twist to this story, but also makes you wonder why they haven't pressed charges after each incident or maybe have done something more in that regards..looking forward to see more of them..

To be honest, I hadn't read the first book, and I wish I had. I spent the first couple of pages trying to get my head around who people were, but when I did I was pulled into the story totally and found myself desperate to know more, so have bought book one.

Talan was mysterious and extremely possessive, and have I mentioned he sounds hot? This book follows his relationship with Maya, who far from being a defenseless woman, is more than capable of standing upto her man, and also standing her ground with the other characters.

The story was well paced and the scenes between Talan and Maya were hot and steamy.

There is more to come from these characters and I will certainly be getting more in this series when they come out.

Another hot and crazy ride for these guys. Talan and Maya are both strong and stubborn, but they have a couple of obstacles trying to keep them apart. And this book continues with the major UST for a bit. But when they get going ... it's HOT!

This story brings our favorite people back for more sexy times and progression in their relationship. However, it is difficult to move forward in a carefree way when you're living in fear and watching your back. We get to see how they handle it and how they continue to love and grow.

It's sexy, hot, and beautiful. And a must read! Just be warned, there's still another installment of this series. So, we'll get more of Talan and Bitty, hopefully soon.

I was given a copy for an honest review, and here it goes. Elena has done it again with Talan and Bitty. Their story actually got hotter with each chapter. There were a few moments where you think Bitty has finally gotten something up on Talan and low and behold he still comes out on top. I dont want to give too much away but there's a scene involving the tattoo shop and ink ( holy hell was that moment ever so HOT ) Im wanting more of these two, but Im also wanting a story for each of the guys and girls we have come to know through Marking Her and now Marking Him. Elena doll, its been a privilege to read and give you reviews for your awesome stories, cant wait to read more from you.

Marking Him is book two in the Marked series. It can not be read as a stand alone. You must read Marking Her (Marked, #1) first.

I love Talan. Talan is definitely great boyfriend materiel. Talan knows what he want and he wants Maya (Bitty). Talan and Bitty take things slow in this book so we see a softer side of Talan. We still get steamy scenes between them.

Janice plays a big part in this book. Janice is crazy. Janice's craziness makes Talan more protective. It surprised me that Bitty was not afraid of crazy Janice.

The ending left me with some questions and I hoping that we will get more Talan and Bitty.

"So Suspenseful and Hot!"
This series just keeps getting better and better. This is such a steamy story. The story line is fantastic. The suspense is getting even stronger and the sex is getting hotter lol. The characters are excellent. The tension just keeps building the further you read into this series. It is hilarious when they have to meet each other's parents lol . But can Maya's and Talan's love over come a psychotic ex. and a obsessive want-a-be boyfriend who are out to destroy their relationship?. you will just have to read to find out!. This book isa 5-star for a reason it is just amazing!. My hat off to Elena for a series that is so Stimulating!.

I was given this as a ARC for an honest opinion. Must read Marking her first to understand what is going on in Marking Him. Talon is basically every woman's dream man even if they don't admit to themselves. Bitty aka Maya is the woman for him. Everyone loves her, but Janice who is very delusional. That woman needs help big time. I can't wait to see what else these two can do for each other as well as their family, because let's face it Esther, Simon, Lance and Veronica are family. Talon and his Bitty go from zero to sixty just like that!

Passionate. That would be the one word I use to describe this book. The passion that Talan has for Maya palpable, I mean you feel it through the pages of this book reaching out to you and smacking you in the heart. When he says there is nothing he wouldn't do for his Bitty, there really is nothing he wouldn't do for his girl and he proves it time and again.
I loved reading this book and just soak it all in. Marking Him is just that, what I mean is that Maya has Marked him and there is no way that he will ever be able to live with out her **SWOON**
This is definitely a 5 star read!

This story was amazing in every way the story plot, the characters, and just the hole plain story. I was really enjoying the 1 POV of the story and once I got use to that it was like BAM in your face another POV. That was amazing in it's own way I got to know more about each person that way and of course it all had to deal with Talan and his Alpha maleness; but hey who's complaining not this girl. I'd love to have myself some Talan of my own. :)

Marking Him was even better than the first book in the series. Maya and Talan are together in every sense of the word and are navigating their relationship. They are scorching hot together and I fell even harder for them in this part of their story. They are also dealing with crazy Janice. And I mean way past crazy. Talan is again all alpha and even more so now that his Bitty is in danger. I loved that he gave her so much sweet. I so enjoyed this part of their story.

OMG!! Just when I thought I couldn't love Talan more I read this and fall deeper in love. Marking her have us a glimpse of his possessiveness but Marking Him shows a whole different side of him. Not only does he own her he loves her. I love that we get to know Maya better and find that she feels the same way. I am on pins and needles waiting to find out how Talan deals with the latest situation. Elena weaves a tale of love so consuming that you have no choice but to follow its siren call.

What an amazing story, Marking Her was great but Marking Him surpassed it.

Talan is still my hot book boyfriend, but now I want him forever. He is possessive as we catch on Marking Her but this book showed me a whole new Talan, and his love for Maya.

The story plot is beautifully written, the characters where extremely well built and as always Elena makes an excellent job at driving me into her books.

I enjoyed this one! Hot Hot Hot!! I love Talan, of course who wouldn't? I am not a huge fan of Bitty, but I don't dislike her. Talan wants what he wants when he wants it, and Bitty is what he wants. Talan has that romantic side he is working on Bitty. Can they make this work? They obviously want each other and Bitty has loved Talan since forever. One problem, Janice. This one is a cliffy but hopefully the next one is not too far behind! Great Series!

Reyes This was not my favorite book of the series, but the book remained interesting and the excitement/drama towards the end kept me reading. Talan wants more, but Maya is not as interested in moving as fast. What happens when someone else wants to move forward with Talan? And what happens if this person has already been Marked by Talan? What then?

Marking Him picks up right where Marking Her left off and can i just say DAMN! This book was packed to the point of over flowing with suspense, thrills and hotness.

Maya and Talan are still dealing with the crazy Janice drama but there is a new person who has joined the crazy train with Janice. Talan is still just as protective of Maya aka Bitty as ever.

So if you are looking for a hot suspensful tattooed read then this is the series for you!
