Rate this book
In the shimmering glow of San Francisco's city lights, Amelia's dreams of sisterhood crash and burn with a rejected acceptance letter. Seeking solace in the city's shadows, she stumbles upon two mysterious figures with an invite that propels her into a world beyond the ordinary.

Between dimly lit streets and moonlit revelations, Amelia finds out her hosts aren't just regular dudes; they're a squad of diverse demons—vampires, werewolves, merman, incubi, and more. Instead of the scary creatures of myth, they become a makeshift family, all bound by supernatural secrets.

Amelia, holding her own secret close, gets tangled up in a web of intrigue, acceptance, and love.
In the realm of the supernatural, she uncovers a truth about herself that could shake up the balance between human and demon.

OH MY GOODNESS!! "Demon's Embrace" by T. A. Knights was such an amazing read. It had some spicy scenes which were perfectly placed and the demons were amazing! I am really excited to read this story as it has all my favorite attributes of a plot. It has story building, an amazing plot line, a lot of characters who played important roles throughout.

I enjoyed every second of reading this book and did not want to put it down and hated being interrupted while I was reading it. The story takes place at a college frat house and that is the only bit I am going into detail about because you'll want to be surprised about this story.

I highly recommend this book if you love a fast paced story with action and excitement and some romance of course. I give this book a 5/5 stars and know others will enjoy this book.

“We all have our fears and uncertainties. What matters is how we face them”.

Demons Embrace is an urban paranormal fantasy with a dash of romance.

“In this house, differences are celebrated, and everyone has a place”.

I loved every character of Demons Embrace and its diversity. You’ve got werewolf, vampire, psychic, merman, medium, warlocks, cat shifters (yes, cat shifters) who I absolutely ADORE among other paranormal beings. It’s got one of my favorite trope: found family.

I can’t wait for the next installment of this book.

I was given an ARC of this book in exchange for a honest review. This in no way impacted my opinions.

Demons Embrace is a wonderful mix of romance, paranormal (vampires, werewolves, shifters, mermen…you get my drift), and family. I loved seeing Amelia and Oliver change and develop throughout the story. Their personal growth allowed them to form a wonderful romantic relationship that I loved seeing happen. I loved the found family theme throughout as well, because no matter where you go, your path will lead to your found family.

Amelia is your positive, independent FMC that ends up being a tough, strong-willed heroine (and we love to see it). She grows from her negative experiences and uses them to make herself stronger and help those around her. She stands up for those she loves and will do anything to protect them. next up we have Oliver, our broody, loner MMC. You really see him slowly open up to Amelia as she tries to get to know him and they grow closer because of it. He goes from not really letting people in, to being more open. He becomes more social and outgoing, and overall happier because of her. My absolute favorite characters are Hendrik and Seth. Seth is so sassy and funny that you can’t help but love him. Hendrik is that friend that everybody needs: always there for you when you need them, whether to just hang out, vent, or go shopping.

Plot wise, this story was fairly fast paced and a very quick read. Once you start, you won’t put it down. I can’t wait for the next book (and I’m probably going to reread this one to get me through until the next one is released)

Thank you to the author for providing me with an ARC. This is my honest and voluntary review

Did someone say vampires, shifters, incubi, demons, magic, and more? Sign me up. Demons Embrace drew me in right from the beginning. There is a great mix of plot and romance throughout. Amelia mad me love her from the start with her kindness and positive attitude even with all that she has been through. All of her different interactions with the guys felt genuine and natural. Seth was a favorite of mine and I loved how he would reveal just enough to Amelia and the guys to help them in their choices.

One of my favorite characters in a book is the broody MMC and Oliver was all that and more. His and Amelia’s interaction were wonderful and I loved how they grew throughout the story. I loved how things all melded together throughout the story and the different plot lines ended up intertwining with each other. I can’t wait to see how things progress for them in the coming books. I also hope to get more of the other guys stories as we go along too.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the villain in the story. Sometimes I root for the villain, but not this one. He was such an awful character in the best way a villain can be. I was hoping something really bad was going to happen to him in every interaction there was throughout the book. It takes a talented writer to make me dislike someone that much!

Overall this was a wonderful story, with a fantastic plot and characters that were intriguing and diverse. I highly recommend picking this up to read and I can’t wait to read the next installments.

I was provided an ARC of Demons Embrace in exchange for my fair and honest review. These opinions are my honest and true feelings on the book.

Demons Embrace by T.A Knights is book one in The Crescent Chronicles. Oh my gosh, was this book a great read! I love a good supernatural story and this was written incredibly. When I started, I couldn’t nor did I want to stop reading. I was invested in the story from the first few chapters. I will mention to check your trigger warnings to be on the safe side. This is fast paced with plenty of action, adventure to keep you going until the end. Plus the spice was so…so good. The characters were developed well and the demons/other paranormal entities was fantastic. I loved the mix. I don’t want to give anything away because you should definitely read this story, it’s so worth it. One of my personal favorites was Seth, he was just so sarcastic and funny. My others were obviously Amelia and Oliver, she was strong…independent and Oliver was someone who went from being closed off to learning to let people in. I loved the development of characters. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series. Definitely recommended!

DEMONS EMBRACE by TA KNIGHT release day 1 Feb

Please be aware there are possible triggers: attempted rape, steamy explicit scenes

When you start a book and think you're going to read a good paranormal romance and the book is so much more, well, all one can do is simply devour it!
Going to college, being in a Sorority is cool, right? Ummm, no, not for Amelia. Kind hearted, sweet Amelia discovers there's been a glitch and she, in effect, has no place to stay! Distraught, with no idea where to go, no idea what to do, she does what any normal people would do, sits on the pavement in despair! Yeah, that's not gonna solve anything...but then, 2 well meaning guys offer her a place for the night, which heck, she can't say no to! But she had no idea that what she's let herself into, what she would uncover, gosh, even I was surprised! A houseful of guys, a fraternity, who although seem sweet and kind are a whole lot more.... interesting!

WHAT they are and WHO they are, now that was a revelation! A whole menagerie of, well, guys, who, as they inform Amelia what they are, had my eyes growing bigger and bigger! The author did a fabulous job of creating such unique characters, flawed but beautiful characters. I loved how different they were, in every sense of the word....and how they embrace Amelia into their fold, although, she's the only human in a household of supernaturals, or is she? The clever way the story unfolds allowed me to gain insight into each of the characters, really opening up their challenges and of course, their secrets. Which incidentally, are unravelled as the story progresses, so cool, so believable. Yeah, I know it's fiction but I forgot that whilst I was reading! The triplets, oh my word, the triplets! They had me giggling at their shenanigans.

From the triplets to Nolan, to Kane, to Seth, they all are characters one can sink their teeth in, no pun intended! And Oliver is just to die for. Not literally, dear heavens, behind his disagreeable facade, he's a true gentleman. See, he's also a vamp and Amelia has a morbid fear of vamps, reasonable, seeing as what occurred to her as a child. What's that, you ask? Heck, read it and feel it! He abhors that he needs to feed on blood, but that's not the only thing that makes him"different" to other vamps, he's got an added element that other vamps are jealous of and none other than his revolting father would gladly see his demise. The Awww, the Ooo, the Noooo, escaping from me as I was reading, I really really was rooting for him! The scenes where they try to overcome, try to 'practice' for the play is unlike any rehearsal you'd contemplate.

Once Amelia gets her head around her strange housemates, and more particularly Oliver, the romance that develops between her and Oliver, the patience she exhibits despite her fear is awesome! I definitely did a "yes!" fist pump when it came to fruition, steamy yet tender, hot yet loving. Truly beautiful. It wasn't only the romantic aspect that captured me, there's mystery and action aplenty, leading to a revelation I never expected, in fact, there was lots I didn't expect and I was very pleasantly surprised each time. I can say in all honesty, Amelia is a perfect MC. She's fiercely independent, and although she knows she's been adopted, she loves her parents with all her heart. She's one of a kind, literally! As she gets familiar with the fact that there ARE supernaturals, there's also an enigma attached to her, no supernatural can influence her, which opens up another set of questions. I love how she confronts her fears, and opens herself up to embrace them. And embrace them she does, especially Oliver.... I loved the sense of belonging Amelia has with all the guys, they all look out for her, they all are her new family, one of them even turns out to be real family!

I really enjoyed the build up in the story, the realism of the tale. This glorious read was so immersive from the git go, the pace fast brilliant, the world building like an aria, rising and rising to enrapture me and setting me down as I came off my high. Loved it! Loved Amber, Oliver, Seth, Nolan, the triplets, the revelations and discoveries, heck, I loved it all!

ARC review of Demons Embrace by T.A. Knights -

Rating:
⭐⭐⭐⭐
🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

✨I received an ARC, and anything shared in this review is solely my opinion!✨

This was my first time reading a book written by T.A. Knights, and I have to say that I thoroughly had an enjoyable experience diving myself into the world and characters in book 1, which was Demons Embrace. First off, I’d like to say that the first couple of chapters in the beginning were a bit slow for me; however, when the plot of the story was starting to develop, I was getting little by little captivated by how the story was going to pan out in the rest of the chapters.

The world-building and characters were easy for me personally as a reader to get keen on and slowly start to feel part of T.A. Knight's writing. This can be attributed to the way she captivated my attention with her protagonist, Amelia, who is the focus of the story. Furthermore, you get to be introduced to other secondary characters, which I too got invested in and started to warm up to. For example, Oliver was a character, and throughout the story, I felt that as the chapters were progressing, T.A. Knights began to slowly remove his walls, and through Amelia as a reader, I got to see him from a different perspective and get to know more about him as well. When it comes to world-building, T.A. Knights does a great job, as she slowly introduces it to you and gets you hooked right away. At the same time, she continues to explain aspects of her unique world as the chapters go by.

Throughout the story, there is a romance aspect, which, as a reader, I enjoyed slowly being introduced to, and the tension that was going on between these two characters could be felt emanating through the writing. I would say that fans of slow-burn romances would enjoy reading Demons Embrace. Finally, the last chapter and the epilogue were written in such a way that, as a reader, the plot of the story got to a point where you’d want to know what was coming up next. Book 2 is going to be something that I look forward to reading and seeing where the plot continues to develop further in the Crescent Chronicles series.

I'd like to thank T.A. Knights for giving me the opportunity to read her amazing work! It means the world to me!

As someone who is in a sorority I was a little sad that Amelia was treated so poorly by one. But I also can admit that it isn't out of character for a sorority to do so. I really liked meeting all the guys and all of their different personalities. I loved their comaraderie with Amelia and their need to protect her. I got a little muddled sometimes with keeping up with which roommate was which type of demon but for the most part I was able to keep everyone straight. Amelia and Oliver's relationship and character growth throughout the story was really fun to read. It felt very natural in its progression and it made Amelia and Oliver extremely relatable. The surprise favorites of mine were Hendrick and Seth! They both had such fun personalities and quirky traits. I loved that Seth would just conveniently disappear or withhold information just to up the drama and I loved Amelia and Hendrick's friendship particularly with his coming out. It was very sweet and very well done. Overall a fun quick read with a lot of loveable and quirky characters.

I really enjoyed the story line for this one!

The way some of the scenes and settings are described is so beautiful that you won’t just visualize it, you’ll get a “sense” of it. Writing style is really important to me and I was able to fly through this book with the ease of which it is able to be read.

Overall, I think this is a great book! This book is the first in the series and, while interesting & with a plot, it deals a lot with uncovering mysteries and answering questions. The storyline and characters are unique, the writing style is interesting, and the plot is intriguing. I would absolutely read the following books to see what continues to unfold with Amelia, Oliver, and the rest of the boys!

If you enjoy slow burn paranormal - this is for you. Amelia is a great FMC - she's independent, hard working and totally out of her element - or so she thinks. The relationship between her and the guys she meets hit all the feels - friendship, laughs and bit of heat - with a bite. A lot of the characters have a few secrets, and the unfolding of them in this book gives you something to look forward to in the next book. Overall just a really great storyline and a good slow burn romance.

Demons Embrace was an enjoyable story. I found it to be very original and fun to read. The characters were interesting, and there was enough action through the pages to keep me wanting more. I was disappointed by the over uses of the word ‘ palpable ‘ throughout the book. 18 times within 229 pages is annoying and had me cringing each time I read it. This kept me from loving this book. With that said, the story was interesting enough that I would consider reading the next book in this series.

Plot! Amazing characters!! Amazing world building! I started this book and finished this book in 8 hours!! I couldn't put it down! This isn't my typical genre of read so I didn't know what to expect jumping in. I am so thankful I did! The author did an amazing job and I'm extremely excited to see what happens next!

Overall I like the idea & plot of the book. i enjoyed having all different types of “demons” represented and how the characters interacted. I do feel the writing wasn’t great which is why I am giving three stars. The writing often felt disjointed to me. Like the author just jumped from thought to thought without really connecting them.

I found myself really enjoying this book. It’s a found family with some romance. And the characters I just want to collect them all. There is vampires werewolves cat shifters mediums and more. I love that the FMC comes full circle on her greatest fear and learns how to harness her own power. I can’t wait for the story to continue

I loved the idea of this book but unfortunately the execution just wasn't for me. It felt a bit rushed and quite crowded in the sense that there was a lot going on all at once. The writing wasn't great in terms of how words were used and it just didn't read easy.

I absolutely enjoyed this book! Multiple paranormal aspects, a little spice, drama, and of course the ending left me wanting to read more! I adored the characters in the book and look forward to them having their own stories. On the other side of all the positive, there were aspects of the book that felt rushed, but overall, I felt that as the story progresses, the rushed parts will fill in.
