Interesting meeting between these 2 at the start. Sage sort of knew Mama Irene, but not enough to go to her for help until she was desperate. The drama that Sage discovered was crazy and seemed to get crazier as things went on. It was great that she had her own ghost who had a connection to those at Belle Fleur and what they found out from him and could do for him.
And once again Trak showed his sons and grandson's how awesome he was. Loved how they all kept getting surprised by him and how Lauren welcomed him home, despite being a bit pissed at him, and how she knew just how to ease the darkness.
I wanted to know more about all the treasures that Sage found, wanted to see them get back to where they belonged. Maybe in future books, but it didn't happen in this one.

Great!
I chose this rating because this was actually a pretty great book. I enjoyed pretty much all of the characters, well there was a few that I didn't really like. This was a book of protection, compassion, kindness, awareness, believing yourself and also falling in love. I enjoyed Mike and Sage story. I think the author did an amazing job with putting these characters together. I love the way Mike and his family took care of his his young lady Great read! I recommend this book to all romance readers.

Wonderful!!!
I love it when the elders get to come out and play. Great story. Very interesting story line. If you haven't read any of Mary Kennedy's books you need to get started with Reapers Securities. Then follow the path all the way to this series. They are so enjoyable and entertaining. Ready for #18.

Mike literally had his ONE bump right into him. But she was trying to hide then run. He held in and let his feeling pour out. Another great adventure and story from this author.

Another bit
I loved this story. Quite a few twist and turns. The RedHawks are exceptional. I do wonder why Jak is never introduced as a cousin. In all voodoo books Pertaining to RedHawkslike BJ, Tobias and Mikes books he labeled as a brother of teammate.

Prince Charming
Prince Charming meets his forever Princess. Mike and Sadie were meant to meet and Mama Irene made it happen. Once again Mary Kennedy shows us an exciting mystery with VG and another wonderful love story. I could read these books for forever.

Mary did it again. Wonderful characters, Mike. & Sadie, show the backbone of commitment and love. Strong family unity in times of trouble and laughter and belief in the ties of love and commitment. You can never go wrong reading a Mary Kennedy book.

An old friend of Irene Robicheaux always reminds her granddaughter that Miss Irene is someone who can help her when she needs help. During a masquerade ball at Halo Island, Mike Redhawk meets a petite blonde who is being chased by two large men. He runs to her rescue and then tries to help her unravel everything that has happened to her. It's not an easy task but they do it with help from the Voodoo Guardians.
