I really enjoyed the book. It was really well written and full of battles. My only complaint is the sleep. I really hated his 20 year sleep. It ruined Ben for me, I liked him as a boy, not a man. I also miss Sasha in the story. Remember, this is my opinion, please don’t get angry at me. If you agree, leave a comment of a like.

Power and Death in Black

Because of the quality of his writing, and the visual pictures he creates I gave the book this rating. The story adds to Nath's mystique and his evolution. After 25 years of sleep he awakes even more Dragon and goes back to his bull dog approach of fighting evil.

As I've said before, an absolute cracking and fun read, I highly recommend it for young adults and if your looking for an easy breezy series just fall into and not work your brain to much, it has all the fiends and baddies from high fantasy books to try stop Nath and his companions in there tracks, as the story continues, Nath Dragon has awoken, when the last book ended his friends were trying to get him someplace where he would be safe, the story tells us what a heavy toll this has taken on his friends and their world, twenty years have past before he awakes, but Nath's friends had suffered terribly at the hands of the Clerics of Barnabus, much sacrifice had been offered to keep Nath safe, now he is awake and itching to get back at his enemies, Nath and his friends try continue there mission while fighting strange creatures as well as the clerics, but where ever the go injuries and death follow them, will our hero's make it out,
Cracking narration, sfx and the music is just brilliant, highly recommend....⚔🐲😁

Hunt For The Hero - Book 5 - The Chronicles Of Dragon

Nath Dragon has awoken! When the last book ended his friends were trying to get him someplace where he would be safe. The story tells what a heavy toll this was on his friends and their world. Years had past before he awoke. Their world and Nath's friends had suffered terribly at the hands of the Clerics of Barnabus. Much sacrifice had been offered to keep Nath Dragon safe. Now he was awake and itching to get back at his enemies. The story tells of Dragon and his friends fighting strange creatures as well as the clerics. Injuries and death fill the pages. The saga continues in book 6.

My 14 year old son listened to this book and said this was the best one yet and his new favorite. He finished this one in a day. It picks up right where book four left off. This one is everyone else's perspective while Dragon sleeps which helps you learn more about the other characters. These are great for kids into D&D, fantasy and adventure. There is no bad language, overly graphic violence or any romance scenes. He's now working on book six. I would say these are for the tween to teen reader.

The chronicles of dragon
Format: audiobook
Narrator: Lee Alan
This narrator has a good voice, easy to listen to and good delivery. He suits this series.

Bk 5: Hunt for the Hero.
Will Nath Dragon be able to save his friends or will the Clerics of Barnabus’ plan succeed?
When Nath wakes from his changing sleep he finds that his appearance is not the only thing that has changed!
The adventure continues as our group of warriors are left with no choice but to seek out the head of those who are spreading evil, death and destruction.

Too short

Really love the Dragon Chronicles but they are just way too short and end too abruptly. I prefer much longer books.

It is unfortunate that Goodreads does not list the omnibus for that is how I read these as one large book. So that is how I will be offering my feelings of this series.

First of I will say that book one is obviously a novella. Having said that it does what it was intending to do and that is introduce you to this marvelous world the Craig has made and an idea of what was wrong with it.

I had read in some of the other critiques that these books were meant for young adults I honestly enjoyed them. The plot was complex. The growth of the main character could go one way or the other through then entire book and you never knew which way. The fighting was well played out with not the good guy always winning but a flicker of hope still remained. For a teen this book is an excellent coming of age book to read. And even for adults, I see no reason why we cannot not enjoy the depth and growth within, for we are always charged with this type of charge every day in our lives.

I have enjoyed each and every one of these book and glad that I got them all at once and it is my hope that for any age you will find the courage that I found through these pages.

This book is a big transition book in the series. Parts of it felt rushed, but still a good addition.
