A nice book with very insightful and wise thoughts about us and everything around us. The author very obviously is a Krishna devotee, but what I like about this book is it does not focus on his own religion or spirituality. Where applicable, the author draws examples from different spiritualities or religions to explain the context. This definitely provides a more generalized perspective. Keeping the religion and devotion aside, the book is filled with snippets of wise words which I think can help everyone reflect on themselves as well as things around them. I also just want to mention that I am 100%, not a religious person, so if it was any more focused on religion and spirituality, I would have never gotten through the book. Check out my highlights to get a glimpse of what this book is really about.
There are a couple of occasions where the author comes across very male-biased, purely based on 1 or 2 sentences. If you are able to move past those, the book has several thought-provoking sayings. I will probably go back to this multiple times to get the full essence of the content.
. Daily I used to read one or two article, especially one in morning and one in evening before going home from work. It really changed my perspective of life and made me happy at home and at workplace. Its Instant wisdom ready to use and apply. Superb book.
The different analogy and lessons explained in the book really would help someone to evolve in gradually to higher goals and principle. Read Evolve to Evolve!
Very handy guide for inspiration, day to day guidance, peace and stress relief. Takes you from lower stratum of consciousness to the highest level of consciousness of bliss.
It is the first book that I read of this writer. Well explained life - how should it be led actually. But it is very diffuclt to come out of the modern lifestyle and follow the actual path.
Some people complain that when you take to spiritual life you are escaping the world, but that is the most ridiculous misconception. We do not want to escape, we want to face it for what it is.
Many people turning (or stating that they did) towards spirituality, compelled me to read this book. Coming directly from @Radhanath Swami I was confident about the content that it would be in its real sense and not modified to cater to the XYZ generations that we are. An excellent read, sometimes would require a thorough concentration to understand the depth of each word/phrase/sentence. A re-read.
This is one gem of a book . Following or implementing everything in the book is not actually possible in today's greedy world which can make yourself weaker compared to others. But this book clearly explains even if u have bad seeds in you as of today and if you start thinking and implementing good things will make your environment good one day in future.
The best book on spirituality and higher aspects of life...
The best spiritual book i have ever read full of wisdom and real life examples to understand easily...must read if you are in search of higher aspects of life.
Talks about things we already know but don't think much about! A reminder for many things we tend to overlook! It talks a lot about God 🙈 wasn't expecting that! Never the less, it's a short book but so much to remember from it
Must read. Deep and insightful words. Full of wisdom. I am a spiritual being but this book has changed my perspective into spirituality. This book inspires me to read Bhagwad Geeta.
