Having a disturbing true-life stalker of my own for the last thiry years, this paperback caught my eye. Even though my psychotic friend has attempted to do me serious harm in the past, the examples that Polly Clarkson has assembled are often fully blown psychopaths. Stalkers don't come with green hair and flaming eyes, very often the out facing persona is respectable and upright, they wear shirt and tie and are short haired straights. Many of the main stalker types are in this book.

Good selection of real life stories. Liked the inclusion of cyber stalking as well as a focus on male and female victims of stalking. Generally a good read even if the author was a little annoying with the ending of her chapters all being in the same jeremy kyle style tone.

Interesting

Interesting read. It's truly terrifying to read what the victims went through. For anyone who doesn't believe there is real fear in being stalked, I recommend this book.
