Two shattered souls, a young single mother, and one grieving over a failed love story brought together to heal each other. One is shattered where as the other is broken.
Alisha aka Alie and Anirudh aka Anni are childhood friends, both chose their love life where Anni got betrayed by his school lover for his own best friend where as Alie chose a spoiled brat Sujay over her parents. While Alie was on her way to meet Sujay she met a stranger who changed her path towards a very risky and unplanned road. It was the toughest road she had ever chosen. This decision snatched everything from her. Her love, her family, her friends, and her dignity. On the other hand, Anni went into a zone of denial. He pushed himself into a robotic life where only his work was the top priority.
When life became miserable for both of them their family decided to bring them together in the hope of a better future but the situation didn't look the same. They decided to give it a shot just for their family's sake and later to separate. They shared the workspace and a little they knew that their past would be again here knocking on their door. Sujay is back and he is the father of Alie's child. Why is he back? What's his motive? Will this change the equation again for Anni? Will Alie repeat the same mistake of trusting Sujay??
The author has showcased her polished skills of writing intricate scenes by bringing so many strong characters together without mixing up their stand. Each character has a story to tell where a few will steal your empathy and a few will face the burnt. Family bonding and true friendship are the success mantra of the story.
The little cutie August(Augy), yes that's his name will steal your heart with his innocence and charm.
An office romance, hot brewing chemistry, past baggage, and a dazzled future how they will survive is the question all about.

An apt title for the couple who never in their dreams thought they would end up togather.
This is a beautiful story, of a bubbly full of life,alisha sabharwal and a very cool anirudh singhal but with the twist of fate.... They both land in a complete different situations that alisha ends up with an infant and anirudh is heartbroken.
Does life leave you there messed up no, if life throws hurdels it also throws a few chances to heal... Its up to us if we can catch and end up well.
Alisha and anirudh family friends find themselves in similaar situations. They do grab the opportunities and work well togather for the sake of families..
The funny banter between the two, Ayaan sehgals teasings, add life to the story.The friends banter couples love qibble the familys faith every thing is beautifully written.
The dramatic entry of their ex is also wonderfully handled.. not diveating from the storyline .
The characters are so sweetly set and are relatable.

Alisha Sabharwal and Anirudh Singhal came together to appease their families...Their families have been long time friends.
Both Alisha and Anirudh have a past that affected them deeply...still their families think they are perfect for each other.
I enjoyed reading this story so much, all the characters are well developed and the narration is smooth.
I really liked Alisha's character. She is brave and bold and always speaks her mind.
A must read for fans of the romance genre.

A beautiful love story
Alisha and Anirudh are perfect ingredients for a beautiful love story. Alisha aka Alie comes across beautifully for her pure soul and ambiguous emotions. Anirudh is a gentleman and his shade gets better when Agasthya and Sujoy comes into the picture. Together they make for an awesome pairing with the usual tricks and turns that adds to their love story. With a supportive family in the background and perfect measure of angst to layer out their individuality and accurate settings binding them together author offer us a sweet reading experience with their tale.
The best part of the book for me was Sujoy though. It was a very organic portrayal and his emotions really had me hooked to the character. Kudos to the author for his authentic essence.
