*sigh* I just love Adrian Blue. whenever i get in a slump or i feel like i'm not making progress in the month on my longer books I'm reading, i can just grab a book or 2 by him/ her and read it. i love this author's imagination! and the books are short, sweet, to the point. quick interesting reads!

What could have been a night of horror (and possibly ending in Nora's death) turned into...actually, there still was a little horror and some death, it just wasn't Nora's. And, you know, she found someone who will protect and love her for pretty much ever. So, yeah, things did not turn out the way the trespassers expected.
I guess they didn't turn out the way Nora expected either. I mean, she was just enjoying some time alone during the holidays (not in a dirty way, just literally spending some time alone to appreciate the holiday) when two masked men tried to ruin things. Joke's on them, though, because Nora's protector is quick and decisive and he's not about to let anybody lay a hand on Nora if she doesn't want them to.
As it turns out (once the individuals trying to hurt her are dealt with), Nora wants her protector. All of him. In every way. And he is MORE than happy to oblige. *thumbs up*

I'm sure some readers were clamoring for Nutcracker smut. A wooden soldier that's in love with you, slings good ridged d!ck, and protects you from intruders....well why not.

To the land of sweets...
Nora is alone. no friends, no family. She's spending her evening watching Xmas movies. And there is a break in. 2 men plan to rob her and plan do things to Nora that she isn't going to like. suddenly the main nutcracker in her collection comes alive. He's been watching her & guarding her for years. And falling in love with her during those years too.
Strange but true. She is into it and she feels very safe with him. They hook up. The end. It was so very short so I didnt have time to really love it or really hate it. and I spent most of the time thinking about what a nutcrackers private parts looked like. Sorrynotsorry

This year, I'm trying to read more books out of my comfort zone, and this book turned out to be one. 😂 I was expecting something else based on the synopsis, but the plot was a surprise instead.
Nora didn't seem to be scared or bothered by the fact that her nutcracker suddenly became giant-sized, could talk, walk, and attack intruders.
The pacing was fast, and the world building was minimal. The writing style itself was fine.
I couldn't really take this book seriously, but if you want a quick read and like inanimate objects suddenly coming to life, then you should give this book a try.

I want a Nutcracker!
What a Sweet Story for the Holidays! Makes you wish things like that happened in real life LOL!! Im enjoying this author, some of her darker romance I wasnt sure about at first but she writes in such a way that its a possibility between two different beings…..alien or monster. I love the “short stories “ easy to read a few when sitting somewhere looking for a quick read. Thanks AB!

I enjoyed reading this story. It started off a bit scary, but her soldier took care of everything for her. Then he really took care of her.

Such a sweet book, if we ignore what almost happened in the story. I love that the nutcracker has been waiting all this time and seems so kind.

So I don’t know what to say… was bizarre 😂 even by my standards
Like okay I get it, nutcracker transformation but it clearly states he was still “wood” like and all I could think was “oh we just gonna pretend vag splinters aren’t a possibility?”
Lets say I could overlook that, as I overlook claws and pointed tales and accept it works
The whole coconut oil jizz thing was like idk what I feel
And that’s crazy cause I read knotting books with lizard monsters ok… but it just made me feel a kinda way I wasn’t digging.
But still 2 stars cause I wasn’t completely judging
