Gangsters, aristocrats, offworlders... What difference does it make? To Mikhail Bulatov, none whatsoever. Any of them could be friend or foe, and he could care less what world they’re from or what their place is in the social order. As for his enemies, any conversation will be equally brief, even if different in content. And yes, those out to get him are ramping up their efforts, and increasing in number. Not that there’s any question of his ability to handle it all. That being said, he must not lose sight of who he is. First and foremost, he is a Healer.

Series is getting worse
The MC is constantly engaging in nonsensical behavior just to maneuver the plot a certain way or in what might be an attempt at humor. No one would act like that, and id hope no one would idly risk the men and family for “fun.”

Arrg, the book's too short. Here I was reading and totally transfixed by this mesmerizing tale when I hit the wall. And I was not ready yet, am I ever ready... sure, sure I knew that it was gonna end soon but surely I could eek out another few pages, but Noooo! What's a person gonna do... the only option is to wait for books 6, drums fingers oh well... is it out yet? No? How 'bout now? Kidding aside I love ❤ this book and actually the whole saga.
The storyline is nice and tight and it's really fun watching Mikhail Bulatov work around the new conditions set in this new world that he found himself in, and to deal with all the families set destroy the Bulatov's and, seizing all their property! So in this book it's all about the loans which had been made before Mikhail's arrival. As all those loans unfortunately became due. So after careful deliberation Mikhail decided that the best and only option was to declare War. 😆 Which was in fact very monetarily substantial for the Bulatov family!
You're gonna hafta grab this book to find out how.
Here's a couple of quotes that amused me:
"“Where the hell am I?” swore the mage, but the pigeon seemed to shrug, as if to say “Deal with it, man.”
“So we serve the pigeon?” Ludwig’s jaw dropped. “No, but Kooky’s date doesn’t need to know that”
“Holy shitsky!” exhaled the brothers in unison."
“Don’t most aristocratic ladies have little lapdogs? What’s wrong with our mistress?” asked Max into the void. “Would you really prefer a Chihuahua helping us out here?”

The Healer's way #5 continues in that oh so familiar we've gotten used to in the previous books. Enter portals, get stronger. Get revenge (and the ways in this one are truly a thing of beauty), recruit new people, declare war on everyone who claims he owes them money, and a whole lot more, don't miss this action packed next book in the series. If you've been reading along, and like what you've read so far, then get in line, and grab your copy as soon as you can, this story is heating up even more, and how it resolves is still a mystery, but whatever the method, it certainly won't be boring.

The story never gets dull!
I found the book highly amusing, especially the parts evolving around plunder and demolion. I really enjoyed the exotic and cynical setting.
I found the almost complete lack of fillers and info dumps which have become very common nowadays refreshing. There are so many conflicts by now that it is hard to remember all involved parties (especially the mostly passive local minor antagonists). It is sad that there were not more duels or "creative shopping" at shops owned by enemies by now.
Unfortunately, i have to deduct points for the writing style and the consistent errors throughout the book. The author really needs either a bether translator or a better lector!

Do you have a fear of Pigeons?
This series isn't about Pigeons, but they are an important part of the narrative. If you do not want a laugh, then don't read this book. If you want to read about a character who is boring, then this book series will disappoint you. However, if you are like me, who wants a character with an ego but is also humble, then you will also love this series. Kudos to the author for writing a series that makes you want to laugh.

Entertaining Read
The great Healer continues to confound his enemies as they try to finally take over the family holdings. I like the action, humor, and political shenanigans. I look forward to the next book.

Outstanding Lol Series
This story of a pidgin from a world with magic messing with the wrong person was fantastic. He ends up being an ally of an Archmage healer who upgrades him. The Count goes to war with seaming every one to get out of debt.

This is a series that I get an ARC of. I check the translation from Russian to English.
This is one of the stories that once I finish, I'm looking forward to getting the next ARC in the series. It's just a fun read for me.

Series continues to be fun and entertaining!
Editing issues aside, good fun and fun storytelling! All the main characters are fun and interesting. A little bit over board with animals and some slips in logic, but not enough to stop the pacing of the story.

I like the managing of the estate and the building up of forces. He does seem pretty absentminded a lot of times but I wonder if that is more about not really respecting other people and their time and treating them as inferior even if he wants to take care of them and see them grow.

Mikhail is still doing what he can to improve his family's holdings. He is slowly becoming stronger and also making sure his family is becoming stronger as well. He is collecting some fun individuals who I think are going to make a big difference in upcoming books.

disappointing. It felt like this before, but this one especially just has absolutely no plot. it's just a series of disjointed, random events that are justified using widely varying excuses.

It was very dull, a lot of bla bla bla. It was a waste of money. I will not be reading anymore of the the books.
