Once upon a time, in a land far far away there was a tale about a girl named Cinderella.
She sang and danced and fell in loved after only one kiss.
This isn't exactly her story . . .
This is the story of Ella.
There wasn't much to sing about in her life and she didn't have the energy to dance.
She was an orphan being sold into a marriage of convenience by her wicked stepmother.
But Ella was given a wish.
She used it to wish to be free to marry the man she loved.
Of course she loved the prince she met at the ball that she snuck into.
But like I said, this isn't exactly the story you remember.
This is a version of the story you will not have heard of before.

Those of you who are familiar with all the classic Disney fairy tales know that they really stem from some dark and disturbing roots.

Most of the more popular tales are derived from the Grimm Brothers and they are not pretty. They do not end with a happily ever after but were used more as a warning. So keep that in mind if you decide to partake in this little number. It’s not pretty, it’s sexy. It doesn’t necessarily have your typical happily ever after. The twists are dark and the characters – all of them – are completely flawed.

With that said, Sophie Starr takes Disney's version of Cinderella and slaps her around bit. Then she forces her to grab her ankles. Why? Because that's the way Sophie Starr likes it and that’s the way this erotic fairy tale plays out. Cinder Ella follows the story line of the classic tale on the shoulder and along the path, takes a few side roads to explore the sexual side of a beautiful maiden locked away as a common housekeeper.

This is an adult read. I did enjoy the new twist on this story and how Sophie Starr gave it new light. We get to see a whole new side to Prince Charming and a few new characters are added to the plot to make for a whole new story. It’s actually pretty genius.

The flow was smooth. The dialogue was great! I loved the dialect change to the medieval. There were a few references that made me giggle…I won’t divulge as you must read it!

This was a fast read for me. I couldn’t put it down. I thoroughly enjoyed the different outlook and found myself wanting more. I am anxious to see what Ms Starr puts out next.

There is language, sex (some extreme forced play). 18+

I was a little confused as to who I was routing for but as the story go going I knew what team I was on and it was totally Team William I mean Charmant was okay but he just wasn't for Ella and well he just couldn't meet her needs like William could, "he dropped to his knee and fished a glass shoe from his pocket. "I want you to be my wife, my queen, my love and sometimes my who**. Forever and always." I just really loved him, "everyone who meets you knows instantly what my likes and desires are. It is only you I desire." He kissed my belly again. "I think we have another issue to resolve. Will this belly make me sons or are you barren? I can take it, just tell me the truth."

Wicked Cinderella?

•••NOT for the homophobic, transphobic, closedminded or faint of heart!•••

This series does not need to be read in order. This is the first book. I can't wait to read "Beauty's Beast"!

Ella has lived a life of cruelty and abuse since her father died. The only bright spots are her mouse Gus and the servants. One of her stepsisters isn't bad but she is too afraid to stick up for her. Her stepmother is selling her in marriage to a Duke so the servants help her run away. Will she make it free of her travesty of a life? Or will she be caught and forced to marry the fiend? What is her Destiny?

***This series is suitable for adult readers who enjoy a bit of kink in their twisted erotic fairytale romances :)

Cinder Ella is a great Erotic fairy-tale, it’s not my normal read, I am more of a current day contemporary romance reader but love Tara Brown’s writing so I had to check out her alter ego Sophie Starr. I will say this that as good as this book is, it’s not for everyone so please heed the author’s warning, if anything of those offend you or you don’t enjoy reading that, then this book is not for you.

Cinder Ella follow the basic storyline of fairy-tale we have all read but Sophie (aka TB) true to her writing style puts her own spin on thing, adding her twists and turns and then that OMG moment when you least expect it. On top of that, add in a little sexy erotica and bam you have the wonderful adult version fairy-tale you have always loved with a great new twist.

I really enjoyed the characters (well most of them anyway, you have to have those few bad guys), some we already knew and some that were new to us and I really liked how the author made them her own, so they were the characters we loved but yet again with the TB twist.

This book, if it’s something you like to read, is a really great quick fun read and something you should definitely check out, I am glad I got out of my nice little reading box and gave it a try, can’t wait to read the rest in the series and see what “magic” Sophie will work with those ones.

My thoughts

I really didn't care for this book at all. It was totally different than what I thought it was going to be. I love stories that twist fairy tales. This is the first erotic "fairy tale" that I've read. I just couldn't get into it. I like the writing style of Sophie Starr, I just didn't like this.

Cinderella gets a naughty upgrade

I read Beauty's Beast (Starr's retelling of Beauty and the Beast) and I found that to be a very interesting version but this one of Cinderella I think goes a bit over the top. The essential story remains the same riches to rages to riches again but I think this version is too erotic for my tastes. I'm glad I've read it for curiosities sake but I wouldn't read it again. Ella is a girl stuck and has one night to change her fate, she meets two men at the ball and has to chose one of them even though both have fallen for her and given her their hearts; one is who she needs the other is who she wants to be with if she was different. Ella chooses her fate although to an extent it was decided for her by others. I think it sweet that the guy she chooses says he will kill for her and actually did so. OK a little morbid I admit but he loved her so much that he'd do that... If you read it you'll understand. Just be warned and prepared it is very erotic and very much for the over 18s.

Calm my beating heart, CALM!! THIS WAS AWESOME!!!! It was perfect, it strayed from the typical story by the author so much and it was still so epically better for me. This is a fairy-tale for grown up girls. I really liked Ella she tried to do the best by her heart and not give in to anyone trying to force her to be something that she is not. The love interests where hot but I knew from the first meeting who it was that was meant for her and I am glad I got the ending I wanted to get. I liked the message it has, to embrace your self the way you are and not to try to be something else just because someone says that it's better this way or that way. The sexy stuff was according to what happened either really hot or appalling and I really felt bad for Ella for those parts. A really good book that I couldn't put down and finished in record time.
Will I read anything else?
Ummm, yeah!!!!! Looking forward to reading "The Club". :L

Watching Cinderella with your children after reading this book makes you actually see how innocent and wonderful that movie is for a child's mind. Your Happily Ever After may not always be the Happily Ever After you thought you were destined for but over time seems to be the best choice. Ella was broken she knew it everyone in the house knew it and once a person has been broken over and over fixing them becomes almost unseeable. So her fate was sealed so she thought by her step mother who was going to marry her off to a filthy old man. But soon Ella learned that step mommy had some frightening skeletons hidden in her closet!!! And the man that sets his mind to stealing her away from the Happily Ever After may just be her Happily Ever After, after all.

This is what I like about Tara Brown. She takes original and throws in what can only be described as "Tara" into the mix. That's what you will find here. A classic Cinderella tale spun around with some arousing twists. Some horrid acts that you didn't really want to picture Cinder Ella going through. But getting the dark side of her or even the sexy side of her is exactly "Tara" so I'm extremely happy with what I read. If you enjoy sensual fairytales and getting thrown into a magical tale with some dirty gritty then this book is for you!!!

Ahhhhh!

I can't express how much I loved this book. Yes, it was dark. Yes, it was twisted - jaw-droppingly, so. And yes, it was erotic. Dirty.

But oh-so-good!

Once again, the surprises keep coming - heh - one after another; you never know which way is up and which way is down, but baby, once you get on the ride, you stay on because it's. That. Good.

I don't want to spoil it for anyone but I'll simply say this: leave all and every prejudice behind and be ready to embrace a new version of the fairytale we've all known.

5 stars. Because Sire. Oh, Sire.

This author and her alter ego NEVER seize to amaze me!! It was definitely a different twist to a fairy tale...a well written one at that! Ella's life was a rough one and what was going to happen to her was just as bad, my heart went out to her!! Long story short, talk about one happy ending!! I mean, who wouldn't want 2 princes fighting over you (I'm happy she added that to the story)... I am so looking forward to more of this author!!

I was given an ARC for a honest review

Cinder Ella is a Brand new take on the classic Cinderella. This is not a book for the faint of heart. This is definitely a book that will leave you needing a shower. Sophie Starr hit this classic out of the ballpark and made it even better. It's a HOT read. You won't be able to put it down. Looking forward to reading more of what Sophie Starr has in store for us!

Everyone knows that good ol' story of Cinderella. Well this is based on it, but it is so not that! This is different and much more, lets say kinkier ;)
There are similar characters, but there are many more. There are also some subjects some people may not agree with, hence my word of kink!
When you first start, this fairy tale sounds like your typical fairy tale, but beware, it surly is not. It is much, much more. Be sure to read the warnings because this is a NAUGHTY fairy tale for sure :)

I was given this copy for my honest review. I love this! And really all I can say is WOW just WOW!!!! Poor Ella has it rough. Her life sucks and she wants nothing more than to get away from it all. Her stepmother is a mean ol' thing and The Duke is just UGH!!! Ella finds out what she truly wants by the end and she lives a Happily (steamy) Ever After....Must read, intended for 18+

A very adult twist on a classic fairy tale. Loved how Sophie Starr gave us competing "princes". It was hard to figure out who you should root for but the more you learned about Ella it became very apparent who would make her truly happy as well as who she would make happy. A super sexy quick read that provided a great afternoon escape!

Tara Brown is the author of one of my favorite series so I wanted to see another side of her. Not what I expected at all. I usually don't read erotica. There was a nice twist to the story with the prince and his cousin..who will she choose? Not too bad of a retelling. I could have gone without all the incest.

I just discovered Tara Brown and thought I would check out some of her other genres when I saw the list of aliases she writes under. This is NOT the fairy tale I have always known! She definitely puts a super hot, sexy spin on the old tale. Tara Brown/Sophie Starr you are a naughty naughty girl. lol

Cinder Ella is a dark, twisted take on the Disney classic, Cinderella, and I FREAKING loved it! And for once it seemed the girl ended up the guy I picked! I don't think I've ever read a book by this authors alter ego that I haven't loved, and this one is no exception!

Good story but very disturbing . I enjoy erotica but not when the women are raped by old men who have sex with their sisters. I feel so gross after I read that. The story really had A GOOD plot but, I just can't get past that part.

What if Cinderella was not such a good girl? What if Disney's take for her was not her happily ever after? Enjoyed reading this twisted, kinky version of a classic fairytale.
