In an alternate universe, the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers finally defeated Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd, but at a terrible cost… In the wake of tragedy, the team went their separate ways. 22 years later, the long-disbanded team reunites to mourn the losses of beloved friends, but Zack and Billy have some unexpected information to share—Jason, the Red Ranger, has been operating as a lone vigilante, and has since disappeared. Will the remaining Rangers be able to track him down, especially with a mysterious figure in pursuit? Written by actress, screenwriter, and director Amy Jo Johnson, the original Pink Ranger herself, along with rising star co-writer Matt Hotson (Titans) and renowned artist Nico Leon (Spider-Man, Catwoman), fans can experience something unlike anything they ever have before in the Power Rangers universe, in TV or comics!
Awesome start to a hopefully long series! This issue takes a dark turn and starts off on a very somber mood. Love the direction it is going in and can’t wait to learn more about Jason deciding to become a ranger again and who the mysterious user of the grid is. What made them vow to stop being rangers in the first place?
Mirroring the real world and honoring fallen rangers is always a nice touch, and I like that we got this for Trini and Tommy. I think someone was spot on in saying this is like that adult version of the Once and Always special for the 30th anniversary.
And Tommy is dead? What?! I need more of this series and am excited to see what direction it goes in.

3.75 out of 5 read in print: With owned paper graphic novel and manga they take me a minute to finish cause I can pick them up and put them down whenever I feel like it. I did enjoy the nostalgia and art of this, but the end left a sour taste in my mouth. This series being done by different artists is fun though and I would pick up more if I knew where to find them.
When I first heard about this story I was curious to see what tone this series would take, This first issue drew me in quickly and left me wanting more. I get the sense that this is going to be a mature dark story not in terms of language or violence but on an emotional level. If your looking for a comic like the Last Ronin this is it.
I ultimately loved this book. Overall, the art was good. There were a couple of panels where Kim did not look like Kim... notably the wedding panel, where she looked to have a sandy blond bob. The other disappointment was not even one panel of .... spoiler....

Certain people reuniting! Really?!
Anywho... I hope there is more, but there is room for improvement.
A great intro issue. The art was really good, with surprisngly good likenesses. I love the mystery in it. No idea if any of the stuff they've mentioned is references to the regular comics or not, especially Tommy's death. Anyway, I really loved it, it's some of the best PR comics I've read.
I loved this continuation of the Power Rangers. The originals will always hold a special place in my heart and to see them all come back in this story written by the amazing Amy Jo, I cannot wait for volume two!! The artwork in this comic is also stunning!!!
This was a completely alternate universe than the series. One moment in time changed everything. This was a very clever take on how things could have been and was just as believable as the actual series. Well done!
What!? I loved the MMPR growing up when I saw this pop up on kickstarter you know I had to support! I loved the start of the story and I can’t wait to read the next one!
Flew through this and really enjoyed. Arguably did more to bring some personality to the characters than years and years of the TV show did. I was hooked by the cliffhanger towards the end so will read on. Plenty of alternate cover art work here from various artists all with their own styles. A very nice, (if a tad short) book.
