While efforts to prepare for the upcoming family reunion continue, Diane makes a startling discovery that may save the Dane Crown Inn or destroy it forever.
The Emerald Bay Series
After a lifetime of running the finest inn in Emerald Bay, Margaret Clayton has to make a decision … sell the Dane Crown Inn to a stranger or put her hopes for the future in her family’s hands. For most people, the choice would be simple. But nothing about her family is simple … especially not with her daughter and four nieces whose help Margaret needs now more than ever.
The five cousins know the inn as well as Margaret does. As young girls and teenagers, they spent every summer keeping the cottages and suites spotless, and enjoying the gorgeous beach as a tight knit family. Thirty years later, though, these five women have complicated, important, distant, and utterly packed lives. The last thing any of them can do is drop everything and save the inn. But, when it comes to family, the last thing is sometimes the only thing.
As the once-close cousins come together on the glorious shores of Florida’s Treasure Coast, they learn that some things never change, but others can never be the same. And the only thing that matters is family which, like the Dane Crown Inn, is forever.

Leigh Duncan is an Amazon best-selling author and a National Readers' Choice Award winner, the author of more than two dozen novels, novellas and short stories. However, the biggest thrill of her career--so far!--came when she saw her book, Journey Back to Christmas, featured on the Home and Family Show after Hallmark Publishing chose Journey to introduce its new line of romance novels. Her newest Hallmark Publishing release, A Simple Wedding, and her upcoming A Cottage Wedding (6/2/20) are the first of several books in Leigh's Heart's Landing series. These sweet, contemporary romances take place in a small town known as America's Top Wedding Destination, and each book centers on one couple who fall in love in Heart's Landing.

Treasure Coast Discovery ~ Emerald Bay #5 by Leigh Duncan.
Publisher Description Could a secret lost in the past be the key to saving the Dane Crown Inn?
Another great addition to this wonderful series from Leigh. I have been following this series from the start, from the first word to the last, I was hooked and couldn't click to the next page fast enough.
I love the Dane family and found them captivating, and through Leigh's writing, they all come to life and feel real, I felt I was in Emerald Bay enjoying everyday life along with them. Leigh is one of my favourite authors, I have never been disappointed in her books.
With one more book to come, I can honestly say that I will be returning to Emerald Bay and rereading the whole series.
Treasure Coast Discovery has been written brilliantly and is one of the most amazing books I have read. I highly recommend it to all, and it deserves more than 5*
Reasons I enjoyed this book: Easy-to-read, Entertaining, Informative, Inspirational, Page-turner, Realistic, and Wonderful characters
I've become completely invested in this family, to the point where at times it takes me a minute to remember they aren't real people.
In this fifth installment of Duncan's six-book series, the Dane family women are moving closer to the conclusion of their individual journeys as well as the sale of the family's inn. There's a lot of emotion, relationships continue to evolve, some characters are discovering new skills and others, new directions, an upcoming event is celebrated, and a bucket-list item gets crossed off...with surprising results. Through it all, I'm reminded of the strength of family bonds, the joys and sorrows of relationships, the magic of romance, and the importance of women supporting women.
I don't want to say goodbye to these characters but after that stunning final scene in Treasure Coast Discovery, all I can say is "Bring on Book Six. I have to know what happens next!"
This is a series where I strongly encourage readers to read the books in order.
I easily could have given a higher rating for this addition to this series - it was that good
This book was so good. Romance started, restarted for some and there is a possibility of another new romance for Belle. I love how Belle has a chance at a new career but is mindful of the age of her guitar player. Jason is around and very supportive. Diane and Nat have a great adventure and are surprised at the outcome. Family is everything to this family but Aunt Margaret seems to be in shock and not saying a word. I admit I said "Oh No" at how it ended and I hope the next book comes soon.

Life feels much better when you have something to look forward to...
I love this family. Watching the cousins as they unite and work together to bring the Inn to completion. It is sad that they now realize the sand is running out on in the hour glass and there is little time left until the Inn goes up for sale. New relationships have bloomed with the ladies in their personal lives, and it makes my heart happy that their hopes and dreams are finally coming true.
I look forward to the next book in the series, but also am feeling a little blue knowing that this will be the final hurrah. I have grown quite attached to the Dane Family.
There's lots going on at the inn as the family's work to repair and upgrade is almost complete. As they work their plans, their family bonds grow stronger. Along with all that, the family members are growing personally, too.
So many changes, and then... This one ends in kind of a cliffhanger. It's not bad. There are story arcs that are still moving forward but some reach a satisfactory HFN point.
One thing, though, there is a “closed door” moment between an unmarried couple.
This is my voluntary review of a copy I received from Booksprout.
This book had my heart racing at times. It felt like pieces of the puzzle were coming together for the cousins who had been renovating The Dane Crown Inn for their family reunion and so it could be sold. There was romance, suspense, and a bucket list to fulfill before Aunt Margaret sold the family inn. I loved the book! Great cliff hanger! I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
Family and Dane Crown Inn are forever. Book 5 of Emerald series is about preparing for Family Reunion. Loved stories of all 5 cousins interconnected, their individual (and romantic) and shared, common episodes. Real turns and twists in Dane family and how their lives are changing. Loved characters and story line, that is easy to read and keeps your attention.

This was a great story of pirates and treasure. Diane and Nat have a lot to tell the family now that they finished their treasure hunt. Can’t wait for more
Easy enjoyable read. The characters you know and love from past books in the series remain firmly in place. However, this series reads less like a series, where each book opens up and resolves a new challenge, and more like a continuing series of chapters of a single book.
