Backpacking Lessons Learned: 'It'll be fine'

Rate this book
This book is a collection is of lessons learned as a backpacker to 40 countries in six continents over 35 years. It is meant as a self- deprecating narrative of dumb ass mistakes I have made as a low budget traveller. It is meant to be funny whenever possible. The places are used only as a backdrop to the vignettes to provide context. Learning the art of travel on a budget has been my second greatest joy next only to raising my children. This is book is written for my children with the hopes they will use it to learn from my travel experiences and venture out to make their own. This book is a liberal tree hugging, non-sexual, female travel supportive, with a few alcohol and marijauna stories. I have kept swearing to the bare minimum. If you don't want to or can't travel, feel free to experience to it vicariously through me. Recommended for 16 years and older.
