I loved everything about this book! Maribelle’s writing was beautiful and elegant! I loved the romance it was such a sweet story! This can be read as a standalone as well! I also loved that it took place in Georgia it was like I was revisiting old friends from home and getting to see their love unfold all over again! If you haven’t already read this book then you definitely need to! It’s so sweet and like watching the prom king and queen! Will their love for each other be enough,will their love conquer all? I don’t know guess you’ll have to read it!

Maribelle McCrea has a way of writing a sweet, clean romance. This one follows that same trend. This is a second chance romance between two people who never really healed after their breakup many years ago. So when they are pulled back together for a friend's wedding, they both realize their spark is still there, but can they trust each other enough to try this relationship again?

If you are looking for a good, clean romance, with a very sweet MMC, this is the book for you.

Let's Be Us Again is the second book in the Take a Vow Collection by Maribelle McCrea. This is part of a series but definitely can be read as a standalone. We do get a glimpse of the wonderful characters we have met in the author's other books, but you don't need to know their backstories to enjoy the story of Brian and Bridgette.

Brian and Bridgette dated 5 years ago. Brian broke Bridgette's heart, and she hasn't ever fully recovered from the heartbreak. She has become a workaholic and prefers to focus on her future rather than her love life. Brian still second guesses his decision to end his high school romance with Bridgette. He thinks often of Bridgette and his regret hangs in the air. When they reunite at a friend's wedding, they can't deny that their feelings for each other still linger. Can they put aside the past and rekindle their relationship?

This is an emotional journey, especially for Bridgette. I like this second chance love story and think it really delves into how one decision changes the trajectory of a love story. I enjoyed this story, but I did think it felt like it skipped over some parts of the story. It was still a good story, and I look forward to more in this series.

Having just finished "Let's Be Us Again" by Maribelle McCrea, I can confidently say it won't be the last book of hers that I read. Although it's the second installment in the Take a Vow series, it stands alone perfectly, drawing readers into its world with ease.

McCrea's vivid descriptions of settings and events effortlessly transport you into the lives of Brian and Bridgette as they grapple with lingering emotions from their past relationship, which ended five years prior. From their awkward first encounter after years apart to Brian's creation of his signature brews, and Bridgette's slaying of her own dragons, McCrea's meticulous attention to detail vividly brings each moment to life, inviting readers to step into the story alongside its compelling characters.

This is book two of The Take a Vow collection. I love all things Maribelle McCrea, and this does not disappoint!! Bridgette and Brian were an item in high school and at the end Brian just broke it off. It took years for Bridgette to get over the breakup and her broken heart. They meet up again at a friends wedding. They talk about their senior prom, they start flirting, and talk of second chances. Love the plot, great setting, and strong intense interesting characters. I look forward to the next book in the series!!!

Brain and Bridget were an item in high school and the beginning of college, but when Brain decided to put the relationship on hold until after college, he broke a bond and broke her heart. After a hard, misunderstood breakup after high school, Brian and Bridgette encounter each other again several years later and even though there is a lot of discord, they can't deny still harboring feelings for each other.
I love how Maribelle McCrea creates beautiful, vibrant word pictures in her book, creating a background of romance and love while Brian and Bridgette try to navigate thru their issues and find their love for each other again.
I especially loved the ending!

Impeccable character building begins as Brigette’s inner demons come flooding back when she runs into the man who ruined her life just as she was convincing herself that she was moving on and didn’t need anyone else to “slay her dragons”. Clearly time doesn’t heal all wounds and Brian desperately tries to make up for the past because he never moved on either… One of my favorites from McCrea with an ending you won’t want to miss!

I loved this Second Chance Romance from Maribelle McCrea. Let's Be Us Again is about Brian, and Bridgette. They dated in high school but a huge misunderstanding led to a sad breakup. Post college, their paths cross again and decide to take a chance again at their relationship again.

"You know," she said gently, "sometimes you just have to take a leap of faith and trust that everything will work out in the end."

Here are some of my favorite moments:
- New Year's celebration
- Brian standing up for Bridgette
- The surprise wedding

Overall, I loved how easily this romance flowed from page to page. The ending was my favorite part. Excellent work! Thank you to the author for the advance copy of this book. A positive review was not required.

Let's Be Us Again is a beautiful love story; a love story that gets a second chance. You will enjoy getting to know the Bridgette and Brian, their friends, their hometown and what special memories they have. When I started reading this story, I was intrigued by the title, but it's perfect.

This was a sweet love story of second chances liked you’d see on tv. I love all the characters and seeing how they weave together from other books by Maribelle and I can’t wait to read the stories of the rest of this group. I grew up in Georgia and these books make me think of home. If you like love stories this is definitely for you!

This book was definetly a slow burn second chance romance. It made you have all the feels and see the love that Bridgette and Brian has for one and another. Also the personal obstacles they had to go through. I really enjoyed it and would recommend it.

This book is a second chance love story !! The two main characters brain and Bridgette dated 5 years ago but brain called things off shattering Bridgette’s heart! From there she went to college and got a great job as an IT.
Brain ended up moving back to their hometown and opened up his own brewery but the two of them still always had feelings for each other !

In this book you get to see the emotional journey of both brain and Bridgette and how they find their was back to eachother after seeing eachother at a friends wedding and then starting to talk and flirt again.

True love, first love high school sweetheart hearts !! It’s mean to be and that doesn’t come around often! Love this story!

Brian and Bridgette first love who lost their way when Brian broke up with her in college. They focused their energy on finishing college and working towards their dreams, but never finding another to complete them. Years later they are united at a friend’s wedding and not does it shake them up.
