Page to page, chapter to chapter - I could not put this book down! You have romance, intrigue, suspense, murder - this book has it all. Cannon and Rosalie’s develop from a chance meeting on the ski slopes to becoming partners in more ways than one. The story will have you in the edge of your seat with anticipation!
This is the first book that I have read by Kristie and will most definitely not be my last. Overall, I would highly recommend this book and you will not be disappointed 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Knife to the Heart (Blood Snow, #1) by Kristie Wolf 4 stars M/F Romance/mystery I was given this book for an honest review by Wicked Reads.
Rosalie is on vacation -boarding down the mountain - wanting to forget the past just for a little bit. When she meets a handsome person on the mountain, she can't help but want to throw caution to the wind. Rosalie is actually in town for her cousin's wedding and wants to have a relaxing time.
With the past creeping in, Rosalie knows that she'll have to face it sooner or later. When she finds herself in the ER, the last person she expects to see is her mystery man.
Cannon is the CEO of the local hospital and loves what he does. When the hospital is hijacked and subjected to a ransomware attack, Cannon doesn't really know what to do. However, he has a sister who is needing a specific clinical trial at the local hospital and Cannon will stop at nothing to get it there.
When Cannon and Rosalie meet again, Rosalie sees that the hospital is under an attack and since that's what she does, she offers her help. However, Cannon isn't sure.
As the attacker moves closer and closer, Rosalie's past comes crashing into her present and it will take Cannon's hidden talents to help solve the mystery of who's attacking the hospital and the local people in town.
You won't be disappointed in this story. It's fast paced and the romance, while sometimes a little unconventional and unbelievable, still adds to the story. I can't wait for the next installation.
Solid 4. The perspective was difficult to read as 3rd person with too much internal insight to both main characters. Chapters are not designated to a character so it was confusing in the beginning. Once into the story the plot and spicy scenes were excellent.
Absolutely loved this book!! This book kinda reminded me of the Mindfvck series. One of the greatest books I’ve ever read. I loved the relationships between the characters, especially the MMC’s and their families. I loved the mystery involved and how the FMC is such a baddie. I loved the MMC and how he’s well respected in the town and even though he can be over protective sometime he tries to not let it get in the way of his families happiness. I really enjoyed how action packed it is and the chemistry. I liked how I was so included in the mystery that I basically found almost all the character suspicious, but I liked how I was trying to be detective. Seriously would recommend.
I received an ARC of this book, and this is my honest review.
I was absolutely hooked on this book from the beginning. Rosalie is a badass and I absolutely love that Cannon doesn’t try to overshadow that in anyway. They have incredible chemistry in all aspects of their relationship!
I felt like the end of the book drug just a bit, and there was a weird bit of dialogue during the climax that didn’t feel in character for the rest of the book, but that’s really being picky. This was a fabulous read, and a wonderfully done romantic suspense!!

Ruthie – ☆☆☆☆ 3.5 stars rounded up for a despicable baddie!
This is the first book in a new series, and definitely had a lot to commend it – I will be looking out for future stories, and hope to catch up with Rosalie and Cannon.
The story revolves around a cybercrime, which then develops in a collection of terrorist acts, all to gain the attention of FBI agent Rosalie Zenner. As we get to learn her backstory, it explains some of the complications, moving the original situation – the freezing of the hospital data for ransom – into an escalation of much more intense significance.
I did find that the pacing was a little slow and that the narrative could have been snappier, but the underlying story was interesting enough to keep me reading. I liked the romance in that they were two people who deserved some happiness, but their habit of disappearing at key moments for some privacy didn't always fit in with the drama unfolding around them, and somehow lessened the tension in the wrong way, at least for me.
I cannot imagine how the drama can keep up this pace in the next installment – I await its release with interest.

While I finished reading a few days ago already, I've waited this long to write my review because I've still got a book hangover. My word, this is only the second book by this author but she has become one of my favorite already.
Knife to the Heart brings us to the small town of Red Snow where we meet Rosalie Zenner, who's an FBI agent specialized in cyber crime. She's on a well earned vacation hoping to find some peace and quiet. While on the slopes she meets Cannon, a doctor and CEO of the small hospital in town. There's an immediate attraction between the two but before more can happen the hospital is being attacked by a cyber terrorist. Turns out it's someone Rosalie's all too familiar with. She's been hunting him for years.
What happens next is a race against time to save patients, the hospital and the small town. Rosalie and Cannon are working together to make sure nobody gets hurt while navigating their growing feelings for each other.
I loved Cannon, he's determined to save his hospital, he's overprotective and I especially loved the way he was with Rosalie. Both characters are tough in their own way but when together, pooh, steam is coming of the pages.
I couldn't put the book down and confess to have neglected a few of my chores just to finish it. I'm already looking forward to what Kristie is gonna treat us with for her next book.
*Free copy of this book kindly received by Foreword PR. This is my honest review.*
This is a fast-paced romantic suspense novel. The MCs are Rosalie Zenner, an FBI cybercrime specialist, and Cannon Ford, an ER doctor and CEO of Red Snow Hospital.
Rosalie and Cannon met while snowboarding in Red Snow, a small resort town in Colorado, and shared a passionate kiss.
When Cannon gets back to the hospital to work his shift, he discovers that the hospital's information system is being held ransom by a cyberterrorist who is asking for $2 million. He wants to follow the terrorist's instructions, which also means no cops or any other law enforcement should get involved.
Later in the day, Rosalie ends up in the ER because of a mild head concussion caused by a careless snowboarder. Eventually, she and Cannon meet again. Rosalie finds out that the hospital's information has been compromised by a terrorist and wants to help Cannon, but he wants none of it.
So starts a fast-paced romantic suspense novel, that will grab you and won't let go until the very end.
I usually enjoy romantic comedies, but this is my first time reading a romantic suspense novel. If this is the standard by which they go, bring them on, please.
This book is very well written. It's hard to believe that this is Wolf's second published novel, but she's been writing romance on her own since she was a teenager in the 90s. She's had lots of practice, and it shows.
Thanks to Forward PR for an advance e-book copy in exchange for an honest review. My opinions are solely my own.

But over the next few days, they both become embroiled in a cyber terrorist attack and must work together to save everyone they care about, including each other.
There are some unexpected plot twists that unravel around the 65% mark. The action definitely picks up at that point. Was it a little insta-lovey? Yeah. Did I eat it up? Also yeah. Solid 4 stars for the action and spice.
Tropes: age gap, romantic suspense, “Who did this to you?”, trauma bonds.
TW: k!dnapping, mürder, SA, phys abüse, stalkêr, loss of family member, battling cancer
Knife to the Heart is an exciting start to Kristie Wolf's new Blood Snow series. Rosalie Zenner is a tough FBI Cybercrime Specialist who is on a vacation in Red Snow, Colorado. Where she meets the handsome Dr. Cannon Ford while snowboarding. These two have some sizzling chemistry from the start. When Dr. Ford's hospital is in trouble, can he let the stunning & smart FBI Agent in to help? It turns out the same Monster from Rosalie's past is the person responsible for the trouble in Red Snow, can these two work together while navigating through the sizzling attraction the feel for one another? This was one exciting read, that drew me in from the start. I can't wait for more in this series.
I will admit that I don’t usually read much romantic suspense, but something about this one called to me and I am SO glad I listened! Knife to the Heart was AMAZE-BALLS!! Holy crap it was so good! Rosalie and Cannon were such strong characters. I love it when the FMC is not some wimpy, prissy entitled girl! And Cannon was everything! Strong, protective and just bada$$!! There was so much chemistry between the two of them in between all of the drama, danger and action! The story was so well written, I can’t believe that Kristie Wolf is a relatively new author! She writes with fantastic detail, great world building and fabulous character development! I am 100% a fan after this book! GREAT read!!!
This was a somewhat quick read. All I knew about it was that it was a romantic suspense! It pulled me in rather quickly, and I actually liked the storyline. It was different from what I’ve read before!
Special agent Rosalie just wanted a relaxing vacation skiing in Colorado. But that quickly changes when she meets Cannon, who she… hits it off with 😉. Little does she know he is a doctor at a local hospital that is currently under a cyberattack. The twists in this story kept twisting lol, and the spice scenes? Let’s just say I was not expecting this story to be as spicy as it was. And it wasn’t poorly written either. It was a good balance of plot and spice!
I very much enjoyed this! The blurb and cover were eye-catching. The story flowed well and kept me interested. I figured out the villain quickly, but in this case it was a good thing as the Author got their vibe spot on. I loved the characters and how they interacted with each other. I especially liked Grady and Wulf, so I look forward to their stories. The romance worked well and I really liked the couple. I've not read many cybercrime books so this was a refreshing change for me. I would definitely read more from this author.
Kristie sure knows how to heat up the pages with her couple & go crazy ugly with her bad guy! I absolutely adored Cannon & Ros. Their dynamics was on fire. I enjoyed the struggle between the attraction, admiration, need & protection they displayed. Along side thrilling suspense you get the banter, sass & camaraderie that worked to keep us hooked. I had no idea where this was going as I started the book! Brilliant
I stumbled upon this book by pure luck. I usually don’t even read this genre, but oh my gosh. I loved every moment of this book. The story just sucks you in, it’s so immersive and full of detail. I personally felt like there was great character background and world building. It’s obvious a lot of love and care was put into this story, if you’re looking for an enthralling story with some well written romance I would 100% recommend knife to the heart.
I really enjoyed this story from the very first word. I thought that the storyline was really unique. I liked the mix of crime and romance. I loved Rosalie and Cannon. I loved their chemistry. It was off the charts from the first encounter. I received a complimentary copy of this story and I freely left this review.
I really enjoyed this story, although I did feel like maybe I missed a book with Zenner already having an interaction with Malgor. Insta love is not normally my jam, but I loved the suspense part, the bodies piling up and the showdown at the end was great!! This is the first I've read of Kristie Wolf and I was not disappointed.
“As long as my teeth marks are on your body, you’re mine. End of story.”
I really enjoyed this book. If you love romantic suspense you who’ll love this. The only thing for me was that it was to easy to guess who the bad guy was. That’s the only reason it wasn’t a 5 ⭐️ for me.
A new favorite author to grace my must read list! If Kristine Wolf writes it - I will definitely read it!
I loved the dynamic between Rosalie and Cannon. Watching them try to fight their feelings was fun. Even better watching them work together to take down the bad guy!
A well written story with great characters. This story pulls you in from the start. Full of action, suspense and danger. Once you start reading you won't want to stop. I was given an advanced reader copy and I voluntarily leave this review.
To say this book is a amazing is a understatement! This book had me holding my breath at some points with the twists! If you love a book with instant chemistry, romantic suspense, and age gap this book is definitely for you! It’s a must read that will keep you on the edge of your seat!
This was a good read. It will eventually be a series, and the first edition was incredible. It was suspenseful and exciting. I highly recommend all of Kristie Wolf’s novels. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
Kristie has done it again with her new romantic suspense thriller. Set in a small mountain town, you are kept on the edge of your seat as Rosalie and Cannon fight not only their growing attraction for one another but the threat a crazed mad man poses to those they love.
It might just be my favorite book Kristie has written so far! She keeps you hooked and wanting to know what’s going to happen next. The chemistry is great and the story is exciting. I love it!
